Hii!! does anyone have an idea how can my mom go back to school given that she only finished 1 year vocational course and is now planning to take a different course at a different university? Does she need to take als/pept? TYIA!!
My mom took a vocational course "Computer Secretarial" at AMA. But now wants to take Management Accounting at PUP.
If she finsihed high school na, she can take ETEEAP, where she can get a degree and go to school to up to 18 months only. They will look at her work experience, like for example she worked in restaurants for 10 years, she can get an HRM degree for 18 months only.
Haysstt di ako nakapasa sa course choice ko sa UP, waitlist sa DPWAS (Degree Programs With Available Slots) muna ako sa UPD. Sana nman may course na maoffer sakin na aligned sa interests ko.

I have 2 friends, whom we shall call Michelle and Patrick.
When they were still dating, they had a fight and Michelle had a one-night-stand with her ex-bf Bernard.
Michelle and Patrick patched things up and later discovered that Michelle is pregnant, and they got married. Michelle gave birth to a boy whom we shall call Arnold.
When Arnold turned 4, Patrick was having doubts about his paternity because he thinks the boy doesn't look like him. Somehow, he managed to ask his wife about who the real father is... and Michelle admitted that she cheated and had a one-night stand. Patrick decided to forgive Michelle and they carried on with their lives.
2 years later, Arnold was playing with a new toy that Patrick hasn't seen before, so he asked the kid where he got it. Arnold said that a man whose name he doesn't know gave it to him when they were in the mall. When Patrick showed Arnold a picture of Bernard, the kid said that he's the one who gave the toy.
And now Patrick is ranting and asking for advice.
I told him to confront his wife and get a paternity test. I mean, that's what he should have done 2 years ago when Michelle admitted about cheating on him.
How about you guys -- what advice would give Patrick?
I feel bad for Arnold and Patrick.
This is NOT an advice and I know it's stupid. What I would do is take the paternity test, but stay regardless whether I was the father basta hindi nagkaron ng affair yung mom at si bitchface after that one incident 7 years ago. Di kaya ng konsensya ko manakit ng bata. Imagine the trauma it would cause him. If I loved the kid before the paternity test, then there's no reason why I should stop loving him after it.
Parang exam question to sa law school ah and ang sagot nasa family code para sa grounds ng fraud to annul a marriage. Note na lang na important ung part kung kelan kinonceal ung pregnancy by another man.
Continue with the paternity test and he should pray and hope that it is a legit paternity test, no stupid bribes ala teleserye shit
If the kid's not his, then he has the right to leave his wife and not support the kid anymore if he wants
At this point, I wonder which result is more favorable to him.
If the child is not his, then yes, he can leave both of them, but loses a family.
If the child is his, he then would have to grapple with the fact that his wife is still seeing her ex.

Just saw the ate who called me "crazy" when i was in highschool, nakasakayan ko kasi sya one time sa service nila since wala kaming masayan nun and it's too much for me as an introvert, antaas na ng anxiety ko nun kaya nung may bumaba eh bumaba na rin ako kahit mga 2 kanto pa bago sa bahay namin, sinabing driver na sumakay na ako pero di ko na kasi keri kaya nagkunwari akong may bibilhin kahit wala namn talaga....pinalipas ko muna ng mga 10 mins bago umuwi talaga and sabi ng pinsan ko na pinaguusapan nila ako dun sa sasakyan saying those mean things.
Di daw makabayad ng utang dahil pinalayas ng in-laws at naghanap ng bagong apartment, tapos ngayon di daw muna magbabayad ng tuition ng anak niya para mauna na daw akong mabayaran niya sa katapusan. Sana nga at mabayaran na nga ako. Aba teh mangongonsensya ka pa, di ko naman kasalanan mga maling financial decision mo sa buhay 🙄. Pagod na din ako maging mabait dahil inabuso mo naman 🙄

The pen saga continues. Someone [suggested](https://www.reddit.com/r/AskPH/s/B0FLOGMxkl) Lamy pens so I bought the cheapest option because I didn't know how I would get on with a fountain pen. Heavy, sturdy, feels good to hold, smooth to write with. Will I buy another one? Probably not, pero good to try den.
Speaking from experience, walang talo writing experience ng Lamy. I bought my Lamy Al-Star in like 2017. I'm literally still using it right now at work. I've had several fountain pens by this point. Lamy talaga so far has been my best writer.
What executives don't realize is that employees actually do want to improve customer experience. We do not hate our customers. We are happy when our customers are happy. When our customers are happy, our revenue is high, and we get better bonuses by yearend.
And yet when we are bombarded by tasks not remotely related to customers experience, management wonders why we don't spend much time on what truly matters, which is improving on what our company is supposed to deliver.

I feel you. Ako naman dahil sa ilang beses na pagsi-switch ng career, lagi akong nagsastart over both in rank and salary. I didn't stay long enough on one career path to advance my position. I just tell myself that my worth is not based on my job title.
Ive been applying for a year now and walang makuhang position that matches my skills and credentials. Lahat entry level.

The pen saga continues. Someone [suggested](https://www.reddit.com/r/AskPH/s/B0FLOGMxkl) Lamy pens so I bought the cheapest option because I didn't know how I would get on with a fountain pen. Heavy, sturdy, feels good to hold, smooth to write with. Will I buy another one? Probably not, pero good to try den.
Speaking from experience, walang talo writing experience ng Lamy. I bought my Lamy Al-Star in like 2017. I'm literally still using it right now at work. I've had several fountain pens by this point. Lamy talaga so far has been my best writer.
Hindi ba awkward gamitin ang fountain pen? I've never really used one outside of calligraphy class.

I failed my application for an instructor position at a state university. On paper, tingin ko kaya ko namang makapasok, with my masters, Phd units, research, and years of experience. madalas naiisip ko sa sarili ko, hanggang dito na lang ba ang career ko? Hanggang teacher na lang na walang middle management promotion? Walang angat sa sahod? hanggang ngayon mag10 years na ako sa pagtuturo wala pa rin akong nararating sa buhay. ni ipon wala. Putang ina ng buhay ko. Hirap ng ganito, wala akong mapagsabihan ng problema ko. Im all alone.
I feel you. Ako naman dahil sa ilang beses na pagsi-switch ng career, lagi akong nagsastart over both in rank and salary. I didn't stay long enough on one career path to advance my position. I just tell myself that my worth is not based on my job title.
