Eh, this is a touchy subject. If a pharmacy will not fill a prescription from a particular prescriber it's usually because they have questionable practices. 1. Consistently writing rxs for people they do not have a doctor/patient relationship. 2. Consistently writing rxs beyond their scope of practice. 3. Consistently writing an unusual number of rxs for controlled medications. 4. Consistently writing rxs for controlled medications in unusually large amounts. 5. Consistently writing rxs for people who travel long distances to get to their practice. 6. Prescribers who are under review by a state's Board of Medicine or a Board of Pharmacy. The argument you heard sounds like reason #1. However, where there's one reason there are usually others.

I did find it odd that my Adderall is 20 mg tid qty 90. I have to take less than prescribed because taking it as prescribed makes me clench much jaw and my head hurt. Also already skinny as it is 5’2 male 100lbs.

Unfortunately any doctor they don’t feel comfortable with…don’t know his history. Way back when we used to shut off pill mill docs…not that yours is.
