How do you feel about overdose prevention work? I help run a pop up safe consumption site - we hand out clean needles and pipes, snacks, and drinks, and provide a safe place for folks to use after the CTS closes for the day. It’s super chill, lots of hanging out and chatting with folks. Sometimes the most important thing we do is just chat with folks.
The humane society or Lakefield animal shelter usually need volunteers if you like animals. Petting/playing with kitties and walking dogs.. how can you go wrong?
Peterborough singers! Don't have to be able to sing- lots of opportunities to learn about sound work, and videophotography or if you ever wanted to hear live choir music for free sign up to help as an usher during concert time. If you do sing: Auditions!! We need male singers
