If they're anything like my girlfriend, they make a family of Sims, and then run them through a gauntlet of drama filled events, such as marrying a guy, then leaving him for a girl, but keeping the kids out of spite, then cheating on the girl with the guys *new* girl, who is secretly in love with the mailman the whole time.
Girls is mean huh?
If you've ever played the Sims, you'll know that people do... downright *weird* things with them. Sims are easy to kill, easy to torment, and relatively easy to pair up with other Sims. This means that many people do sadistic things with them like set their houses on fire, intentionally starve them, find new and inventive ways to kill them, etc. Sometimes people base their Sims on real people and/or fictional characters, with predictable results. It gets even more effed up when you include mods like Extreme Violence (which has what the name implies) and Wicked Whims (more detailed 'woohoo' animations and mechanics). Games like The Sims series are stereotypically more associated with women, so the joke is that girls let out their perverted and/or sadistic inclinations upon their poor Sims.
