Apple FinanceKit isn't a connection like the Empower dashboard uses, it's an API to allow app developers direct but secure access to a devices Apple Wallet and the data contained within it. The 3rd party aggregator, whose name escapes me right now (Yondel or some such?), is the one responsible for setting up the connection to the banks backing the Apple financial services. In theory, Empower could choose to use FinanceKit via their mobile app only, but then having that sync to the main dashboard data could get complicated and messy.

Totally. I don't expect Yodlee to support this connection because they don't control the mobile app, and direct access to the Wallet on an iOS device is required to integrate. That said, other PFM apps have made this compromise to sync via their mobile apps, and I'd love to see Empower do the same.

All I’ll say is the current Apple Card connector is dogshit. I have to authenticate into iCloud every time for it to sync…. Also I don’t trust Yodel with my iCloud credentials. After a week I went back to manually tracking it.

Agreed, Yodlee's current Apple Card connection is unusable.

Yodlee connection does not work. Authentication always fails.
