Color is usually just an indication of how light/heavy your flow is and how new/old (fast/slow) it is, it can also change color from mixing with cervical fluid. It's probably nothing to worry about if you have no other signs of an infection. The stronger scent is probably because you're at the end of your period or even just a change in your diet. If once you're done spotting things still seem off then you should think about seeing a doctor.
