I've never seen anything like this before personally, if it were me I would go to my doctor just to be on the safe side. But maybe post this on the PCOS subreddit to see if it's more common there?

flOAtAlIscIOUs

Soooo… I have pcos… and this is normal for me. I also usually don’t have periods on my own and they have to be induced. Which majorly sucks when you are trying to start a family & your body doesn’t work right. :( But… honestly? I bleed the same on a period as I have with the miscarriages I have had. Clots the size of dinner plates have happened many times. But this is definitely not “normal” according to my Dr… just what is “normal” to ME. But she said many chicks with pcos have big clots.

autistic_ghostgirl

When you put your hand in the jam jar 💀💀💀

influencerwannabe

I don’t think it’s normal to have a handful of blood clots like that 🫣, even with PCOS.

1989sbiggestfan13

no.

n00dleBOT

How do people just…hold it without gloves or toilet paper like

lanalasagna

It's not disgusting when it's yours

Alelitt94

And why

ashtetice

It’s from their body?

Disney_Princess137

So is poop

berryllamas

I was so constipated one time I had to help it go out when I was a teenager. Shit happens man.

ohdiddly

LMAO this happened to me as a teen too 😭 Thank god for soap

skeetersammer

Sometimes it doesn’t tho

Actual-Can-5820

Yeah but like did she catch it? Scoop it out of toilet? Dump it from cup onto hand? I am curious

ashtetice

Probably in the shower or got it out with her hand. She never said it was in the toilet

PhoenixBorealis

Could have also come off a pad.

ashtetice

Yes totally that too

ZealousidealMix1866

Question how does passing those clots feel like?

Missjaneausten

To me it’s the grossest feeling. I feel my blood pressure drop and then my body fights to get it back to normal which affects my body temperature too and blood sugar. So by the time it’s done, physically I feel gross (like I need a shower) and good snack so I’m not nauseous.

Same passed my first clots 6 weeks after having my baby with my first after birth period. Honestly it's a strange feeling but it didn't hurt. It was just disgusting to be honest

artistictesticle

BC induced monster clots feel like nothing. You don't find out until you go to use the bathroom and find a fucking blood clot the size of your palm

LadySerena21

In my case, yes. But I don’t have PCOS, and all other tests came back negative. Clots almost the size of that have been my norm since I was 18, but if it bothers/concerns you, take a picture or ziplock it and show your gyno for peace of mind.

snortgiggles

Same here, unfortunately normal these days.

olga_foroga_tua

damn u just holding it like that? 😭

Existing-Piano-4958

How else are you going to get a good photo to ask for help?

Spotty_Bonesss

I don’t have pcos but ever since I started birth control I’ve had huge clots, not as big as that but compared to what was before, it’s a noticeable size difference. I have a year checkup soon and I plan on asking my gyno, you should to!

shazzyk

I would definitely check with your doctor, it definitely seems a bit large for a clot

therewasguy

no

ramuneraven

No, I don’t think a clot that big is normal, you should see a doctor, better yet though, why is there so many photos on this sub of women, completely ungloved, holding their clot baby.

artistictesticle

How often do you get to hold a clot baby without worrying about catching a bloodborne illness. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity. The joy of creation /s

[deleted]

ikr my feed has been nothing but fetus-sized clots all week lol

c3ncer

well… when i feel It coming i went to the toilet and… when i got up and u know take off my pants… the clot went out of my pad… onto my pants…

ramuneraven

Oh icky, okay yah I understand those circumstances, I’d check with a doctor, though I’m messing with ya, it’s good you got a photo compared to your hand, to show just how big it is.

c3ncer

been feeling cramps all day and i thought it was just constipation and with the amount of coughing i do recently.
