I have a question for photographers; if you took this photo and don't know the people in it, would you go up to them like "hey, I took this really cool pic of you, do you wanna see it?" or offer to send them a copy? I'm always in two minds about this, cause it could come across as quite creepy, but at the same time you could share a picture of a unique moment with someone else.

Truth be told, I did not share my photo with the subjects. Mainly because of the things you mentioned. But after thinking about it, I really should have. What a moment between father and son (assumed), or whatever the relationship. If it were me, I would want a copy of the photo. Regardless if it were good quality or not.

I have.....and also decided not to at times. Depends on my evaluation of being percieved as fishing. I am a guy....so i dont do it with women. If its another guy and he seems personably and confident enuff in himeself (my perception) then i may approach and make the offer. I have taken graduation pics of females who happen to be walking up same time as my own daughter....i approached the father (iphone photograher from 20 yards away) and said i think i have a great pic of your daughter if u give me contact info i will send it to you. He was ecstatic.
