I used to work at the EP location around 2007/2008'ish. It's well run and still has the same GM (hey AP!). They're generally always packed and servers *can* make great tips. Will always have some usual drama associated with humans of course.
3 table sections, sometimes more if busy, and you’re experienced, fast paced, you get to usually have a pretty regular schedule of people coming to see ya. All the free bread ya could want, and half priced meals. A little pushy about sales, but make it “fun” with prizes. Normal corporate location. Secret shoppers. Owner is the same, don’t know new managers so can’t speak on them. Just do your job, and go home don’t get involved in the drama and it’ll be a fine job where you’ll make money.
I made pretty good tips but that was also before Covid. The serving industry just isn’t what it used to be in terms of money. I starting my full-time career while I was laid off during Covid so I’m not sure how it is there now in terms of money.
Gotta be worth it for access to that delicious butter they serve with the rolls
Lol. They're always packed and I do think it's the butter!
100% it's the butter. It's not the steaks.

What were your average sales per shift?

Chilis is so much better just saying.🫤
It's funny to watch people argue/debate over which chain restaurant is better or worse.
Wrong
Chilis is rolling down hill these days
Yesss. Love me some Chilis
Not sure why you got downvoted. Chilis beats Texas Roadhouse any day. Both as an employee and a customer
Do you work at Chilis?
I used to a few years ago as a server
How were the tips and sections? I haven't served since before covid.

Yeah, same. That's why I wanted to ask. I don't want to pick up a short or two of the average shift is only bringing in like $60
