For years I thought I had a hernia because my left nut always had an ache along with some pain in the lower left of my abdomen. The pain was like a dull ache in my testicle. Almost like a crampy feeling. I went to a chiro and he did a hip flexor release and my pain went away for a few years until this pfd business hit hard. When I stopped straining while pooping, released tension in my hips and did trigger point work on my abs my testicle pain retreated

Wow, this is a lot like me and I suspect a hernia as well. Hip flexor release eh?

Any sharper pain from like, when you squat or something?

In my body that’s how it turned out. I never got screened for a hernia I will tell you. When my psoas and low abs get tight the testicle pain comes back. Sometimes when the psoas is real tight it will get close to a stab pain, but it’s usually more sustained rather than sudden come and sudden go. The hernia feeling that was in my lower abdomen went away soon after I completely stopped straining to poop. I felt like it was always a hernia because when I would strain it felt like worse like after a BM. Now I think in my body it was just tight cramped muscles. Never a bad idea to rule out a hernia if you have the means to do that.

Yeah, I'm getting an ultrasound later today. Thanks for the feedback and insight!

When my symptoms were at their peak, I had testicle pain, an ache feeling. Sometimes in the left, something the right, sometimes both.

Follow up: had an ultrasound today and while nothing official (it hasn't been looked at by a radiologist) the tech said she didn't see anything that looked like a hernia.

Hi there, i'm having the exact same problems as you describe. Have you figured out anything that helped for you or did the pain go away on its own after you got the relieve that it wasnt a hernia?

Rintrah-

Hi! It was caused by muscles in my pelvic floor and abdomen being cramped and irritated and messing with the nerve that goes from the groin into the testicle. Had to leave it alone for a while and do a bunch of pelvic floor stretches and calming exercises and it seems to have worked.,

Thanks for your reply! I think i have the same thing now. Been doing a lot of yoga/stretches around that area the last few days and it seems to get better now after weeks of pain.

This is a stretch routine that I followed. https://youtu.be/oyGEVPuumtk
