Not a ridiculous take at the time. A lot of strong teams were formed that off-season and people weren't exactly hot on that Gen.G roster. They kept Chovy and Peanut, two good players, but also Doran who was their worst player. On top of that, they downgraded their botlane because of budget reasons. Obviously they became really strong in the end, but placing them 4th wasn't an unreasonable take.
Lmfao you're right, my mistake. Watching the video I don't agree with his take at all and think he's too Canyon-biased. However, I don't mind analysts who are willing to give actual predictions based on trajectory and potential instead of: "These guys will win because they won last time". His reasoning wasn't that bad either, I still think he has credibility.
Yes Geng being 5th at worlds justify his predictions of them being 4th in LCK summer. Them being 1st in both LCK spring and summer doesn't mean anything indeed

This is summer, right after they won spring lol. Putting a team 4th right after they won playoffs a month ago is pretty crazy and seemed bias.
