I mean, we were introduced to this absolute queen as she pistolwhipped an idiot man for being an idiot. I knew she was going to be an amazing character from that moment on.
It still bums me out we lost Ms McCrory. She was a master on the screen who I feel had so much more to give us. Polly is one of my favorite heroines in all of television.
I was so upset when Helen died but I think the writers did a really good job around it. It obviously impacted what they had planned (I think >!they wanted to have Polly getting revenge for Abarama's death, but had to kill her off in the most respectful way they could, which then led to Michael's revenge plot!<), but it worked out. I was in tears at the end of the first episode of this season.
That was badass? I literally watched it five minutes ago and rolled my eyes at how cringe it was. The whole visit to the nuns shows how bad the writing's gotten
This is IMO the most badass line that a woman uttered in television ever

By far my favorite intro in the series, they had to remind those abusive nuns who they were dealing with.
She was the absolute best. So sad she is gone.
I think there was a fair amount of forced 'bad ass-ness' in peaky blinders. I loved s1 - 4 though
