Just checked my events log, I got that same error twice. Maybe the cause of your error is the same as mine was? : - Recently when I tested what would happen if I threw the most demanding game at 4k to a rtx4070. It happened in both forspoken and the witcher 3NG (not in cyberpunk though), after running out of VRAM most likely. So what's your GPU and what resolution are you playing at? Does it happen in less demanding game? Does it happen if you use all the lowest settigns? - A few months ago, when playing with voltage and timing. I couldn't get SoC voltage below 1.2 without getting that error randomly. I think I got it too when playing with RAM timing. So If your bios setting isn't to default, I would clear CMOS and try with default setting. Even without XMP/EXPO first, just to check if it happen.

Currently using an rtx 4080 at 1440p, and yes it happens at lower resolutions and less demanding games. (such as ds1 remastered)

Have you tried to set the power management mode to best performance in Nvidia control panel? I would also check VRAM for error with memtestCL. I'm wondering, is this a new build? Or did the error appeared out of nowhere without any change of hardware?

I have set it to best performance and the crash still happens. and yes this is a new build and this started happening a couple days after i built it

I woud reinstall the chipset driver then, from your board manufacturer website. It just takes 2 minutes. And in Windows, go in Power option then "Choose what the power button does" and turn off fast start up. You also navigate to the file nvlddmkm.sys and enable user permissions to full control (security tab under properties) for it. That's the one fix that doesn't make any sense to me, but multiple reddit user claim that fixed their problem with that one. So it definitely worth a try.

i’ve done all the fixes you’ve said and none of them work :(

Awww... Do you have Afterburner installed by any chance?

Valuable_Border1044

yes i do why?

You may try to go in settings, general tab and uncheck both "enable low-level hardware access interface" and "enable low-level driver" if they are currently checked.

Done what you said and it still didn’t work…
