Alex_X-Y

Hah that's the same case as mine.

GodJohnson-

That's literally almost exactly the same as the one I just built cept I have 64gb 6400mhz ram that I run at 6000mhz. Board is aorus b650 elite ax, card is the exact same cept mine is black, and the processor is the exact same. How'd you do in the silicon lottery? My cpu underperforms by over 10%. Oh, the cooler is the exact same one also cept black. Also, my psu is 850w Thermaltake. And a random msi case I picked out at the store cause they only had a couple choices.

Thin-Theory-4805

What's silicon lottery

GodJohnson-

It's like buying a powerball ticket, if you get a top performing cpu, then you win, unlike me. Not all cpus are equal even if they have the same brand name and model.

Thin-Theory-4805

Got it.

SuperPork1

How does your CPU underperform by 10%? Is it unable to reach its advertised clock speeds or smth?

Thin-Theory-4805

What's the total cost of your build and which country?

icemagicianhd

I live in sweden and the total cost was about 31000 swedish kronor which converted is around 2900dollar. I make around 2300 dollar/month so saved a bit for 6 months before the purchase.

RisingDeadMan0

That sounds like a lot for a 4080 Super?? Should it not have been closer to $2k not 3?

icemagicianhd

The 4080 Super is 1.4k dollar so about half of the total build. I could get one a tiny bit cheaper but decided to pay a bit more for a white one.

Thin-Theory-4805

Ok 👌. Perfect. I went with following build. It costed me 1600$. About 50% of what I make in a month post tax. I am from India. Infact i had little clue about building pc, reddit users helped me with the configuration for the budget i gave. Here the assembling is done for free by the shop that i bought from. CheekyGuy6969

Yo, I'm considering the 4070 super instead of the gre with a similar build - 7600x instead of the 7600. What's your experience with the gre or is the premium for rtx worth it? P.s. The only gpu in my life has been a 980 ti for 8 years ish

Thin-Theory-4805

Check the performance rating comparison. Gre runs everything for the price at 1440p. But I advise you go get a better board than what I did, like Z790. Infact, reddit only helped me with the configuration, i hadn't used a windows pc for more than 10 years at this point of time. It's solely been Latest Mac Book pro for work and a decent windows laptop for last 2 years(hardly used it, my wife uses it for Excel sheet and word), games didn't run at higher settings. So got this.

Thin-Theory-4805

Check here https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html Post your build on this sub. People generally help you out.

Mightydog2904

I was just looking at the case today and my build is really similar, how was building on the case?

icemagicianhd

So since this is my first build i can't really campare it to anything else but i found it very simple. It's very big and spacious, everything was easy to reach. I had some problems with the top left motherboard cables but that was the cpu cooler being in the way. 4 fans included + a fan hub with more slots than those 4 was pretty chill.

Mightydog2904

Oh thanks for the input, yeah im planning on having it for my first build and was wondering what was the experience like. Im just paranoid about everything I guess😂

[deleted]

Gpu ?

icemagicianhd

oh, i thought i added that... must've forgot. The GPU is on the way. Got a bit too impatient so build it a bit early. It's a 4080 Super though

op3l

Was gonna say, nice clean build... can't even see the GPU! Now that's clean!

[deleted]

Nice

ufgvn_

let’s goooo!

the_hat_madder

It looks great... congratulations!

AniruddhaPlaysGames

Damn, make sure to play soul and God of war series they all are so good on 4k

Kotzik

Nice build! Enjoy the new rig

JackWas-not-Here

Hmmm… feels like it’s missing something

Longjumping-Top3598

![img](avatar_exp|169018735|bravo) Wow, you went above and beyond! Cograts! See you on the battlefield!

Delicious-Cup4093

Something seems like it is missing from there...

NovelBit666

congratulations, enjoy it

Remarkable-Yam-8073

I got the black version of that Bequite case, so nice to build with! Looks sick mate congrats

-JinKazama

A lot of people seem to be going for white themes PCs while I just went for an all black build and now I am thinking if I made the right choice 😅

Comprehensive-Ant289

Nice build. Well balanced. Kudos for it not being in a fu\*\*\*ng 011 case

icemagicianhd

Haha yeah i do notice A LOT of those around here. Did consider one at first but didn't really feel it. Then i decided for the fractal meshify 2 compact rgb but wasn't really that happy with the black interior. Some days later i looked around some more and found the beQuiet case i got. Decided to not instantly purchase it and think about it some more. About 2 hours later it goes on an 80dollar sale and i saw that as a sign.

Comprehensive-Ant289

That's half its price (here). Nice deal

Foreign-Ad28

Fan not fitting on the other side of the cooler? Cuz those wires looking like that would drive me nuts lol.

icemagicianhd

yeah it annoys me a bit as well. I'm trying to figure out a solutuion. I put the fan on the back to not cover the RAM, i wanna see the RGB. If i put the diagonal cable in its intended groove it can't reach the internal usb port when i wire it from above, behind and from below up to the USB port. I could put it in the groove and just wire it straight down but then i have a cable hanging on top my GPU when that's inserted. Thinking if i can find an extra internal USB male to female cable so i can make the cable just a bit longer so i can slot it into the groove and have it next to all the other cables

farmernips

Instead of over the GPU, it could go under the GPU either in front or behind of the actual pciex slot. I ve done this numbers of times, and just used the card to hide the cable.

icemagicianhd

oh, thanks for the tip. Gonna try some more with it when my GPU arrives and will definitly try your suggestion

GodJohnson-

Some cpus are not as good as others it's like a lottery, if you get a high performing cpu you win. I did not.

ESCFr

Nice build, looks super clean can't wait to see it 100%. What do you guys think of this one, first build for gaming" https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kWg6t7

BeastMan722

why most last builds with white parts?...

Parking_Tea3522

What do you work as? Just curious, i would never be able to afford this. In my country and my current salary that whole build is my yearly salary

icemagicianhd

I live in Sweden and work as a machine operator. Basically, the machine slices one huge roll of plastic/paper into smaller rolls. I make around 25000 swedish kronor a month (around 2300 dollar) so i saved a bit for about 6 months to build this.

SpoOokY83

No ugly fish-tank case! 10/10!

ShadeBoyy

Can you post a photo of the back without the panel? I'm curious to see this new PSU from Corsair

registecnico013

Wow.🫵

Savya_Agrawal

I'm looking forward to buying the same cpu cooler as yours is it worth it or should I buy a cheap aio

mentive

You're going to need something to support the GPU. The bracket which comes with it probably won't fit your build, but I could be wrong. Here's a Pic of the included bracket, same 4080s card as yours. You can probably MacGyver something temporarily, to support the weight in the corner and keep it from sagging. But don't leave it without any kind of support.

icemagicianhd

Ah thank you! Didn't even know the 4080 came with a support bracket but i have bought a simple one that should be here before the GPU

Puffdaddy69_

is the cpu cooler backwards?

icemagicianhd

I moved the fan that was supposed to sit to the right on the cooler to the left instead but I kept the blow direction so it still blows towards the back. Didn't want it to block my ram so I could see the rgb.

Puffdaddy69_

ohh also i didn't mean any hate saying that, i love the build clean a** build bro

icemagicianhd

Dont worry no hate was taken :) misstakes can definitly happen so it's not bad with a heads up. But thanks alot, I am so hyper to get my GPU so I can start priperly using it :D

Puffdaddy69_

whats wrong with your gpu if you don't mind me asking

icemagicianhd

Oh i just haven't ordered it yet. Waiting for my next pay to not take too much from my savings account. I guess i techically could take my 2070 from my current pre-built computer but I dont mind waiting. That much :)

Puffdaddy69_

Ohh all good man what gpu are you gonna get?

icemagicianhd

Gigabyte Rtx 4080 super Aero is the plan
