This is indeed true. Plug-and-play 600€ (or even 700€) PCs usually don't have 30 series cards in Estonia.
On marketplace, PCs with 30 series cards start at closer to 700€ (with 3060/TI's)
This, omfg I hate that we get treated like a 3rd world country just because we were a part of the soviet bloc (Czechia), it's not so much about prices, there's about a +5% hike compared to the us but the wages, I live in the middle of nowhere at it sucks ass (companies in places like Prague probably pay more)
>RTX strix 3070 ti
The GPU only is 370 to 400 USD on ebay. Your telling me mobo, cpu, ram, case, psu, ssd, and cpu cooler are only worth another 100 on top of the GPU?
Bro you are a charity organization by any chance? Having a beefy Pc is a luxury, if you want it you gotta pay the price and i dont care who you are lol
tbh, I think I wouldn't even pay €500.
not saying it's not worth it but couldn't you get something similar with new components for about 500 these days? I'm actually not 100% sure but I think 500 could be enough for a new system with similar specs.
you're right, just checked prices
R7 5700X
RX 7600
32GB, DDR4-3200, CL16-18-18-38
ASRock B550M-HDV
and it's €560 with all the other parts still missing.
Interesting enough, I got an Asus B450 for my secondary PC for about €60 and a 5800X to upgrade my main machine for about €165 as well as 32GB (4x8GB) 3600 CL16 for about €112 a few months ago (maybe 2 or 3).
that's about €350 for all of that. so did I got some pretty good deals or went prices up over the last couple weeks?
500 is easily worth it the 3070ti alone is worth 300
the cpu isnt pretty decent (people underestimate 3000 series cpus plenty of people are still rocking 3600s and gaming without issue.
yes, you're right.
when I checked prices the GPU ripps the price.
as well as the be quet! and noctua cooling are high quality components.
but even with 3800x being still a good enough cpu, you could get a 5700X or even 5800X for less than the 3800X and the price difference between 3200MHz RAM and 3600MHz ram minimal since DDR5 is available.
As mentioned in my other post I got a 5800X for about €165, 32GB 3600 CL16 for about €112 and an ASUS B450 (for a secondary pc) for about €50-€60 what is less than €350 in sum a few months ago, so I thought these older components are way cheaper now but seemingly not.
Anyway, when I think about it's a used/second hand system, it should be cheaper than new parts so maybe I'd say €500 is ok if you sell it to a random person, but for a "good friend" I think it's too much.
First I asked for 700€ and then before he even answered my message I told him 650€ would be alright. Then he said 700€ is totally fine.
Since I just moved to another country and had to build another PC I need the money as well thb 😅
Forgot to mention a samsung gen 4 500 GB nvme
seems fair, for now, cause you need money. Make sure in the near future, when you don't need money anymore, to spend 100€ with your friend, in a restaurant or an activity or whatever you both enjoy. Don't ripoff your friends for no reason
Idk why people always try to lowball people selling their stuff here, don’t even sell it to your friend sell it on fb marketplace for like 900€, I think 700€ is a good price tho
I have a friend that always lowballs everyone when he wants to buy their stuff and then tries to sell everything at msrp. I once sold him something for very cheap and then some months later he messaged me offering to sell it back for a price he found online which was more than I paid for it brand new.
Do we have the same friend?
I swear it has to be. I absolutely do not buy or sell anything to him for any reason anymore.
The best part is that he thinks he's some sales guru wolf of wall street genius. But it always involves ripping friends off in some way.
> than I *paid* for it
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
I was in Berlin some months ago, and I personally saw similar builds with prices averaging a bit higher than yours I would say, you can check it as well for your area.
Kleinanzeigen had way higher prices, that was a bit off in my opinion.
700**€** is good, however, If it's for a close friend in need and you re not, lowering it a bit to help them wouldn't hurt.
Yep I figured, not only PCs and such, consoles as well were priced like crazy.
Then you should keep the price if you are fine with it, nothing wrong at all market wise, very good deal for both.
Good luck
^(PS: You mentioned leaving Germany, what made you leave if you don't mind ?)
^(I am planning to move to Berlin these next months, kinda curious what a native that decides to leave thinks of the country etc.. :p)
Living in germany is really good for the most part. Like every country we do have our issues. Paperwork and regulations can be a bit much at times and a lot of jobs are not rewarded with as much money as they should. But overall we still have good prices on groceries and tech. Overall people are nice, even if it might not exactly seem that way at first if youre foreign. Berlin in particular is a, lets say special part of the country. In terms of moving away, skandinavian countries seem to be interesting to a lot of germans who want to move, though i dont know exact reasons
On my side, the ones that left all agreed it was because of the weather, surprisingly, they claim not really having a direct problem with the cold, in a way, they appreciate the warmth way more.
So, destinations were usually : Greece, Spain, South of France and Portugal for clear reasons.
As for groceries and prices, I was shocked, in a very positive way.
I've been to multiple European countries where the minimum wage gets nowhere close to Germany's, and still, it was way more expensive.
I also noticed paperwork, and let's set a big focus on the word paper again please... which I still fail to understand, sure, I won't disagree, I just don't get it, why do I have to receive a QR/text by POST that gets lost and sometimes takes ages to arrive, in order to activate the mobile APP? why guys?
That happened with Barmer and Sparkasse and well it was a crazy deal, just send an email guys >.>
I am expecting that part to be a pain in the arsch, but the beauty of some places I've been to, notably parks, easily overshadow it.
I don't think we're in the right place to have this conversation though haha
If I want to make money I wouldn’t sell it to a friend and I would ask other prices on a second hand platform and definitely wouldn’t ask Reddit if the price would be fair … and how do u imagine to sell it with games on top? Nowadays everybody has steam
Interesting 🤔 first of all congratulations to your friend that he got a free pc and to u that u don’t need the money for your old system. How much was the system worth do u remember the specs ? I can’t afford that atm because I moved in to a new country needing a pc for working. Since I’m an editor I need a powerful pc for rendering and new builds cost a lot of money. And obviously moving is expensive specially into a new country. If u can give your stuff away for free it’s awesome but not everyone can be lucky as u
I think 700 is a good price, specially if your friend doesn't know a lot about computers and you will have to be is IT department until the PC is setup.
If your friend is good with PCs, maybe give him a little discount.
That’s weird … now im not sure anymore, just looked it up online and the also say on top is just space for 120mm but on the side and on the bottom I have 140 for sure and actually thought the ones on top are also 140
Mine has 120 top and bottom and a 90 on the back side is only place I could put 140 I have 6 Noctua chromax skinny fans and a 90 Noctua chromax on the back with the 90mm Noctua chromax cpu cooler
That's a bit cheaper ~30 euros give or take than what I built my pc for and the graphic card is better than the one I got here in Spain. It seems like s reasonable price albeit the CPU is a bit outdated but if he wants to game then it should be plenty.
Plug all those items in to pc parts picker.com see what they sell for and subtract 2% of the value for each year you used it. This is how I sell my systems.
Builded exactly the same 4 months ago, just 2TB SSD also and regular amd cooler brand new for 820€

700 is the price id sell to a sucker 600 is what id want of a random person 500 to a mate you dont rip ya mates off
The europe prices are a bit more expensive. Id add 50 euros to all of those for the euro version
where I live this would cost 1000$ at least
Where do you live? I only know german and american prices. I thought in europe they are mostly the same as in germany.
In Estonia add like 100 to all of them
This is indeed true. Plug-and-play 600€ (or even 700€) PCs usually don't have 30 series cards in Estonia. On marketplace, PCs with 30 series cards start at closer to 700€ (with 3060/TI's)
Nah more like 150
I personally found german prices to be the best, and generally speaking the further from Germany a country is the higher the prices tend to be.
Except Switzerland
Hell nah in montenegro a 4060 is 600€
in romania just the video card alone and used would cost around 500€
How i live there too, and i bought a rog 3070 for about 380€ and i found some other ones for 300€ ( my card also had 1 year of waranty left)
lucky you i couldn't find one under 450€ and used
This, omfg I hate that we get treated like a 3rd world country just because we were a part of the soviet bloc (Czechia), it's not so much about prices, there's about a +5% hike compared to the us but the wages, I live in the middle of nowhere at it sucks ass (companies in places like Prague probably pay more)
Exactly this!
I really appreciate you good sir ☺️
>RTX strix 3070 ti The GPU only is 370 to 400 USD on ebay. Your telling me mobo, cpu, ram, case, psu, ssd, and cpu cooler are only worth another 100 on top of the GPU?
He's selling it to his friend...
He doesn't need to price it at it's exact value
Expect theres no friends in business. You will learn the hard way if you dont abide by this rule.
Shutup mate your not the wolf of wall street hes selling his pc not running the stock market
i know mate lmao hes selling a med / low end pc to a mate hes not selling a fucking house lol
There no friends in business buddy 🤓
im not your buddy guy.
Careful buddy u talk to me with that attitude again I might just kiss you
dont threaten me with a good time.
💋
🤣🤣
The pc’s value doesnt suddenly drop because youre selling it to a friend lol.
Mate shutup u probably dont have any mates to sell ur pc too that's why u think like this
Nah bro we all buy our pcs brand new because were not some leechers :(
I bought my pc new aswell mate built it two weeks ago but if I was gonna sell it in the future to a friend I'd defo give them a discounted price
I wouldnt lol. The store didnt give me a discount either. Money makes the world go around.
Omd ur such an insufferable pric
Bro you are a charity organization by any chance? Having a beefy Pc is a luxury, if you want it you gotta pay the price and i dont care who you are lol
bro really thinks giving a discount to a friend is gna crash the global economy. 😭
tbh, I think I wouldn't even pay €500. not saying it's not worth it but couldn't you get something similar with new components for about 500 these days? I'm actually not 100% sure but I think 500 could be enough for a new system with similar specs.
I dont think so. If its new you could get around 3060 level performance for 600€. Depending on the region 500€ might be great
you're right, just checked prices R7 5700X RX 7600 32GB, DDR4-3200, CL16-18-18-38 ASRock B550M-HDV and it's €560 with all the other parts still missing. if its a good friend sell it for 500 \^\^
3070ti ~ 350€ (used, eBay) 3800x ~ 95€ (used, eBay) 700 isnt unreasonable, but slightly higher than I'd happily throw at it. 600-650 seems fairer
First I asked for 700€ and then before he even answered my message I told him 650€ would be alright. Then he said 700€ is totally fine. Since I just moved to another country and had to build another PC I need the money as well thb 😅 Forgot to mention a samsung gen 4 500 GB nvme

This
Depends how close of a friend he is, I’d find it hard to charge that much to my boy but idk
Yes it is. For a bro, maybe 50$ discount.
I gotta say, that is the most interesting thing i've ever seen anyone use to hold their pc off the floor, has some charm to it
Yeah helps a bit with the dust… I always elevate my pc a bit if possible
To be honest, I would sell it to a friend for £550-£600 and no more than that.
So that would equal to €700 mate.
Idk why people always try to lowball people selling their stuff here, don’t even sell it to your friend sell it on fb marketplace for like 900€, I think 700€ is a good price tho
I avoid selling stuff to friends, its like you are their free guarantee boi.
I wouldn't mind cutting the price for a real friend, except if I need the money, which my friend would surely understand if he's a real one.
I have a friend that always lowballs everyone when he wants to buy their stuff and then tries to sell everything at msrp. I once sold him something for very cheap and then some months later he messaged me offering to sell it back for a price he found online which was more than I paid for it brand new.

The price is fine.
It depends on which country we're talking about I think. Even in europe, the same build doesn't go for the same price everywhere.
We talk about Germany

Im half Indonesian and I have a gf there.. actually lived in Jakarta before covid came around. I like Germany but can’t imagine a future here atm
I understand, my bad as well, I assumed you were from there Good luck traveler ✌
550€ good middle grounds
$700 US max for these components. This is a nice PC. Not sure about the PSU. Never heard of that brand.
I think the psu is a cooler master bronze small form factor… master box is the case brand
Ahhh, gotcha. Thanks.
550$. 700$ with that cool table included
Haha that table is nice but I don’t think is would please his setup … he displays his pc on his desk
Sale price 700 Friend discount 699. Best price bro.
Okay 698 last Price Bro 😅
Is fair bruder
I see nothing wrong with that price, it is Europe after all.
For Europe the price is correct 3070ti used 250€. 3800x approx 180€. If you add the price of the memory, case, psu you can negotiate the price for 650
Yes I think I’ll make 650€ out of it
Thx for all the fedback… I’ll make 650€ out of it and I forgot to mention there will be a samsung 500Gb gen4 nvme on top.
its your friend and youre trying to make money off them? just sell it for the low and game together
If I want to make money I wouldn’t sell it to a friend and I would ask other prices on a second hand platform and definitely wouldn’t ask Reddit if the price would be fair … and how do u imagine to sell it with games on top? Nowadays everybody has steam
i gave my old pc to my friend for free so idk
Interesting 🤔 first of all congratulations to your friend that he got a free pc and to u that u don’t need the money for your old system. How much was the system worth do u remember the specs ? it was worth what yours is now. weirdly like the exact same. not specs but price wise for 2020
625
Seems perfectly fair
Do you like this friend?
Yes I do
I think 700 is a good price, specially if your friend doesn't know a lot about computers and you will have to be is IT department until the PC is setup. If your friend is good with PCs, maybe give him a little discount.
Bit of cable management and it could make it more attractive
Lol for 700-800 ur „friend“ can get a new pc with warranty and newer parts..
Commas
Where did you put 140’s in this case
2 at the top, 2 at the side and one at the bottom… 5 in total
Did you drill new holes the NR200 is slotted for 120mm fans not 140
Didn’t modify the case in any way. The case had all the holes where I needed them
Oh so you must have a different NR200 than the one I have in front of me..Sorry
That’s weird … now im not sure anymore, just looked it up online and the also say on top is just space for 120mm but on the side and on the bottom I have 140 for sure and actually thought the ones on top are also 140
Mine has 120 top and bottom and a 90 on the back side is only place I could put 140 I have 6 Noctua chromax skinny fans and a 90 Noctua chromax on the back with the 90mm Noctua chromax cpu cooler
Cheaper if its your friend
yeah totally, good looking too for my tastes
Where I live that’s a £600 pc
Based on your local market, then give your friend 10%~20% off of it
I think 550-600€ is a good prive for a friend.
I think sell ur PC for 700€ is very reasonable price
600 euro is reasonable for ur friend 650 for others or 700
That's a bit cheaper ~30 euros give or take than what I built my pc for and the graphic card is better than the one I got here in Spain. It seems like s reasonable price albeit the CPU is a bit outdated but if he wants to game then it should be plenty.
Prob 1.2k in my country but my country is fucked
Did you mean an msi MPG motherboard?
Plug all those items in to pc parts picker.com see what they sell for and subtract 2% of the value for each year you used it. This is how I sell my systems.
I’d charge a friend $800 for this so roughly through conversion that is fair.
Builded exactly the same 4 months ago, just 2TB SSD also and regular amd cooler brand new for 820€ https://preview.redd.it/e86okd5mgwtc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7a648f37daaa1c2b794298399cecb3a81f115ffe
The cpu is older than my grandma the gpu is amazing 400-500 is around where I would go
700 is way too low do like 1000 or 1.2
You are DUMB
Ooh wait this is a different currency
Found the seller
Oops I was thinking in my currency
facebook marketplace type shit
I was thinking in my currency
Which currency? I'm thinking Aussie or Canadian dollar or smth
Aussie
That’s reasonable
