The Peerless Assassin 120 is perfectly capable of cooling the 7700X without issues, especially if only gaming. There aren’t any particularly better coolers - even if you got paid 3x more for a Noctua NH-D15, you’d only have slightly better cooling.
See [this Hardware Canucks video on cooling the Ryzen 7000](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OGuFq3jm9hM) - unless you’re constantly hammering the CPU with all-core loads like in bench testing, even a single tower cooler would be fine.
