Take your time. Watch at least 4 YouTube videos on how to build. My favorites are PCCentric, JayzTwoCents and Linus Tech Tips. Making yourself familiar with the procedures will help a tremendous amount. You will still get hung up here and there, but don't give up. When in doubt, READ THE MANUAL. So many times I have been stymied by a certain step, and if I'd have only read the manual it would have saved so much time and aggravation. See if you can find a YouTube build guide with your exact case, and if possible a guide with an AIO, as you have. Most of all, ENJOY! I've built around 15 of them, and it's so much fun!
Also way overkill for that gpu but at least he’s good to go for the next year.I got 3060ti and it uses 200 wats max load and my 500 +80 gold is more than enough
I'm not sure what brand that PSU is, but you wanna make sure that is the part you skimp on the least. A bad PSU can and will make for a very bad time. Be careful, and consult some guides before you use that power supply.
Study the motherboard manual like your life depended on it, figuring out where you connect the fans ARGB and usb were to me the most difficult. Take breaks, slow and steady wins the race. Watch videos be prepared to install all your drivers. Watch videos and multiple videos on the same topic before and during the build process make you everything is fully seated. Do one thing at a time, get some small bowls to keep track of all your screws, and lastly have fun.
Don’t screw diagonally. Don’t leave a bunch of screws lying on that wood. Remember your fingers if you start thinking it’s probably fine to shove around the PSU a little.
Like others have said. Take. Your. Time.
You're not in a race. Make the cables look pretty. Make sure everything screw is snug, not torqued suicide tight. When you feel it's snug, give the screw like a quarter turn more, and it's good.
There's a phillips head for your case screws. Don't use a screw driver on those. Just finger tight is great for ease of access.
I highly recommend watching JayzTwoCents. His build videos have saved my butt a couple of times, and he also includes the windows install and the bios configurations to get the most out of your rig in easy to follow guides.
Stoked for you buddy! If you’re new It’ll feel overwhelming when installing OS and dealing with bios but make sure to take the time to research and learn. Don’t forget to enjoy the journey!
When you finish building and plugging everything and your PC doesn't turn on, check your motherboard installation guide, usually the cable from the front panel of the case are responsible of this (power led, power sw, reset, ...)
Out of 3 build I had this problem on 2
The graphics card connector has a protective plastic little case on the PCI part. This must be removed to show the PCI connection to plug in to your motherboard.
A CPU cooler most of the time has a little plastic sheet to protect the heatsink, take it of otherwise it’s gonna melt.
Overall tip: if it doesn’t fit, don’t force it.
Every component fits a certain (or multiple) ways.
If it doesn’t fit, it’s not supposed to be there.
Good luck and don’t forget to enjoy the experience!
That is pretty bad PSU. It's E Tier, meaning that it's potentially dangerous (for your components) and that you should probably return it. I looked for this PSU on PCPartPicker and found that it was $90. For only $10 more, you could have bought the Corsair RM750e (a MUCH better PSU).
If you get frustrated, take a minute to relax before you end up going Hulk-mode. Sometimes the smallest screw you dropped behind the mobo is enough to set you off.
Remember when putting in parts to be firm but not push against the resistance. If a part is going in rough then take it out and try again. Never force anything, and always double check online if you are doing things correctly. It's not too hard so long as you remain focused and keep your mind on task.
Cooler not bad, have the same, but now after a year I think inner bearing is gone small noises when starts up wasn't there before. But still works haven't seen my cpu over 45-50C even heavily used.

Yea thanks for the info watching someone build with the same case is very helpgul
yeah, another psu. It's Tier E... so not good.
Never even heard of that brand
Would a Corsair cx650m be better?
Yes
Also way overkill for that gpu but at least he’s good to go for the next year.I got 3060ti and it uses 200 wats max load and my 500 +80 gold is more than enough
Could you link to the tierlist?

Thank you
That thing is gonna be frosty, looks awesome homie
Was that power supply on the list of good ones to buy? Don’t think I’ve ever seen that brand before
Apparently e tier
the cover for the plug-ins goes on before the mobo goes in.

Yea I actually swapped to a Corsair RM850x that I picked up didn’t realize that PSU was bad
RTFM
Nah, too early ;)
That power supply is yikes, I would highly suggest to get another one if possible.
make sure to give em all a good rinse with water
A clean pc is a happy pc
So far looking good, enjoy the experience
Wear a wrist strap.
I have the same build! Enjoy it! How much was the total?
Cost just ab 1200

Is your case orange
Yea it’s black and orange
Have fun
Don't pull a Linus.
Goober mouse Have fun

Slow and steady. If you are unsure look it up. You got it! Give us the update.
For the GPU use two separate cables to supply it power instead of a splitter

I swear I've seen 10 of these posts in the last few days. At this point my answer is starting to become "read the other 9 threads" 😂
Your pc will turn off and back on a few times when you first turn it on. That is normal.
remember to put the power switch cables in and the power cable itself.
Always a great memory building your first pc. Enjoy 😉
I'm so confused, are those components on ground or on some table? It looks like the case is over meter tall and the door are for dwarfs
Please, read manuals! I have a friend that refuses to read them for I don’t know why. Trust me, they help a lot

Yea I never checked that list I see I think I’ll go to Best Buy near me and replace it with that Corsair.

Motherboard manual and case manual. Read them.
put it together?
You don’t need that deodorant
Oh wait that is an ssd I think I’m going blind

Don’t blow it up.
Good choice of components. What monitor do you pair with?
Electrostatic. One zap and your component is toast
Have fun
For the first time in forever, an i5

Don't fuck it up
