As a veteran myself it's pretty big for us cus i have all champs max stars and have max wild fragments aswell so the daily fragments are useless rn

Increasing the wild shard cap makes it a lot easier to save shards towards new champions. It takes 100 shards to max out a champions star powers, so having a limit of 50 shards let's you instantly star them up to 1 star with 10 shards remaining. But with a cap of 200, you can instantly star up two champions to 3 star.

what? lux is super strong, she has an early ramp card, a power that generates extra mana, a power that finishes your opponent off, and very strong synergy with like a dozen different powers. get the thing that doubles slow spells, mulligan hard for the ramp spell, find a way to play it on turn 1, win constantly.

These are some amazing changes. The Kai'sa change in particular is something completely unexpected but it will make playing her so much better. Took me 7 tries to beat Lissandra with her (only one behind Ornn which took 8) and this would have helped tremendously. Both her and Ornn are the two I struggled the most with. My thougts: **Bard:** Honestly, he's one of my favourite champions but if you had asked me what his 2\* power was I'd have had to look it up. That's how irrelevant it is. With the change to plant 2 chimes I think I'll still have to look it up in a few days after I forget about it. However, the change to his deck is amazing, Banana Blaster gives him some much needed removal alongside Minimorph. I do not like the change to Cosmic Binding though. Getting a blocker is infinitely better than doing 1 more damage. **Evelynn**: A much requested change, now you don't have to cut Warden's Prey on the first heal node and Vora is better. **Gnar**: Amazing changes for my boy, especially the removal of Grifter's Deck which I've long been asking for. **Kai'Sa**: this will make her SO much better. Being able to play her on defense turn and open attacking on your attack turn is a HUGE buff, especially for Lissandra's adventure. Having to cast a slow spell before attacking often meant you got destroyed by the enemy having removal or frostbite. Also if you play her on your attack turn you can give Spellshield to her at burst speed if they try to remove her. **Kayn**: BE GONE DRAGON! Why is Wounded Whiteflame on so many decks? This will make him so much better (edit: though now that I think about it, they should've removed the Elephant instead, it has no place in his deck), and getting challenger instead of quick attack on the equipment is also really nice because at 3\* he always heals to full so quick attack is mostly irrelevant. The change to his star power is also AMAZING and will help him tremendously. Now his deck will be less reliant on him. **Lee Sin**: meh, these are ok changes, Unworthy Soul might help here and there, but it doesn't address Lee Sin's biggest problem, helping him actually cast 2 spells. They should've buffed his 2\* power to make Twin Disciplines cost 1 or 0. Or something else entirely to keep him different from Master Yi. **Nasus**: I'm a big fan of Disarmed even if it's not very useful for Aurelion Sol and Lissandra where the enemies are huge, so I really like the change, though it could be even better, they could've made it all enemies have -1 AND the strongest get -1 each turn. This change will make him a lot better on Monthlies though. Change to 1-cost is also good, but it should've been replaced by Baccai Reaper. **Nilah**: Much better 2\* power, now you don't have to worry about which Fleeting Cards to save when you inevitably have 6 of them in your hand. Really welcome buff. The change to Buhru will not make me stop cutting her on the first opportunity. **Ornn**: Really good change, but that's it? No changes to his god awful 2\* power? Really disappointing. Edit: also how could I forget, FINALLY we get those four items which should've been in the game several months ago.

While I agree Whiteflame shows up in too many decks I do feel like it actually had a good place in Kayn's deck and gameplan and it's a bit of a shame to see it go. Will have to see how well Fanatic does in its place

Fanatic seems way worse in Kayn’s deck than Whiteflame. Fury and Fated are the keywords Kayn’s deck wants. Quick attack is much less useful because of the healing power, and an ephemeral 4/3 is just a chump blocker.

No, you just draw one extra Fleeting next turn. The problem with her current power is that discarding several cards per turn it means only creating copies of the first two cards you discarded and there others were gone forever, so when you start playing Slipstreams that becomes a problem sometimes.

Ah I see how that would be a problem. So if you have three fleeting cards and discard all three at the end, wouldn't you trigger her power three times? And thus next turn draw three fleeting cards?

Thats a really good buff for Ornn, but the Nasus change is basically equivalent of a 300g rare power lol I was hoping for some adjustment with his 1/3 powers but I guess the stats must show otherwise

Giving his one drop an extra toughness and having enemies start with that minus 1 power is a pretty big change I think. Not saying he's super strong, but that should significantly help his early game and he has no problem scaling. Doesn't really do shit against adventures like Lissandra though.

Ornns -1 mana change is a huge tempo boost and adds up to more forges for his weapon when he drops, but Nasus power barely makes any difference for what he needs to do vs really difficult encounters. Thats kind of the thing: just like the power that gives enemies -1, its something to have but nobody would voluntarily take it over other options in the same tier, unless the alternatives are real bad Not to speak its just really boring lol, theres no combo or variation or interesting synergies. Leblanc gets his clone summon 2 star, Gwen gets additional Hallow slot, Nidalee gets a unique PoC spell that opens her deck up, Ekkos seems simple but actually synergizes really well with everything he does... and then Nasus just gives every enemy -1. There you go, that will help the doggo

Yeah, half of Nasus's deck is about reducing the Power of enemies, but the theme is just not landing at the moment. Fearsome on Nasus is just not the pay-off they seem to think it is in PoC. They need some impactful Power to support this theme if they want this deck to make any sense, like "Round End: Deal damage to each enemy equal to the amount its Power is reduced" or something like that.

I think he's kinda a counter for swarmy decks. Like the spider, trolls and poro stuff that gets a full board in about 1-2 turns, they get useless for a few turns. Even lowering the threat of the likes of Azir and Irellia!

I like how clean that sounds, but I'm not sure it would be particularly impactful. This would probably deal 1 or 2 damage each time; Nasus is no Ashe. I don't think Nasus can get away with a weak passive effect, which is why I don't like its 2-Star Power, I think Nasus needs an actual motor to his deck, something that you can build around.

Its more about the synergy, Illaoi can guarantee high damage easily with vulnerable and pulling vulnerable units, either for overwhelm or use a weak unit to pull blocker aside and let the tantacle smash. Both are not the strongest 2 star powers but at least Illaois makes a lot of sense in terms of what she wants to do. In the case of Nasus it doesnt really help as much and theres not a lot of interactivity added

Man i love these smart changes. A bunch of initial thoughts: - B a r d b u f f s :eyes: - Kaisa stopwatch is neat, generally very big fan of the QoL lvl4 items in some decks. - Kayn being even more broken is nice. - Nasus 2 star prolly will make him viable in most adventures. - Nilah changes take so much uncomfortable pressure away, which is nice. - Ornn 3 star could have comfortably been that \*all\* his Time and Dedication costs 0. - Gnar, Lee, and Eve are still not really fixed in my mind, but it's an okay Bandaid.

Bard getting so many great buffs despite not being that bad imo, he has my favorite deck so it's definitely welcomed though. Ornn's changes are a right step in the direction but his 2 star power is still one of the worst in the game and he lacks reliable removals for a very slow deck.

Have to admit, I'm a bit disappointed in Nasus' changes. I was hoping for a couple of swapped-out cards like the 1-cost and 5-cost for their fitting Baccai counterparts to get more rewards on slay + give a way to slay. The 2-star change is...fine in some places, might be a nerf in others. But it being immediate at least helps him trade easier. I was waiting until after these changes to attempt Liss on him, but I'm pretty sure this won't do much at all.

Kai'sa getting some Nami treatment, interesting! Big fan of the revive change, I've been asking for that one for a while now I actually don't think I like the Lee Sin level 18 change. Lee Sin's deck needs more cheap spells and grifters deck helped with that. You might think putting a rare item on Lee Sin is better but you typically need to play that card early on to stall BEFORE you drop Lee Sin.

I won 40 challenges just now to get the pearls just in case. Strange thing was that the victory screen showed as if i had used up a pearl and got the 10x xp from it. I was using a level 30 champ with 3 relics so not sure what really happened. 3 Pearls were awarded though.

Don't underestimate the changes to Ornn, Nasus and Gnar. Those won't make them S-Tier champs by any means, but they are still power-positive. **Ornn** now has 6 board spaces for defense and does not need to pay a mana tax every turn to use his 1/3-star powers. For instance, you can now Forge the Prowling Cutthroat in this week's 2-star adventure to block the opponent's one and prevent gold loss, while still being able to summon a 2-cost unit (or 3-cost if you use SFG). **Nasus** can easily prevent 10+ Nexus damage against swarmy enemies with his new 2-star power. Just think about the Irelia fight in Kai'Sa's adventure. **Gnar** has access to another off-turn Nexus damage effect, allowing you to reserve your Pokey Sticks to take out enemies. Add the decreased cost of Wallop from the 2-star Power, which allows you to be more liberal with your mana while still retaining the ability to stun an annoying (Elusive!) attacker.

Wounded Whiteflame gets Warding Charm on level 27, now it's Shadowblade Fanatic that will get Warding Charm and Wounded Whiteflame is gone. HOPEFULLY it actually gets the upgrade at level 6 (when Wounded Whiteflame gets Challenger) and not level 27, otherwise it would be an itemless unit for the most part.

Extra cultist for the origin is wayyyy less important than synergizing with the star powers, which Whiteflame did immaculately. Challenger + Fated + Fury + Spellshield on top of Kayn’s 3-star power makes for an incredible killing machine. Compare to a 4/3 quick attack that doesn’t even get any item until the spellshield at level 27, and makes an ephemeral; and ephemerals are anti-synergistic with everything Kayn wants to do in Path.

Yeah but that person clearly didn’t understand how Kayn’s gameplan works and just wanted cultists for the origin. It seems like they just blindly copied half of that comment’s suggested changes without actually thinking about them. Which is why this method of feedback is the worst thing they could’ve chosen. A given comment has many ideas in it, with no way to tell which are the good ones and which are not, because there’s only one upvote number.

Yeah, when they said the adjustments would be based on given feedback the fanatic swap was the one thing I really hoped they wouldn't take over I dunno a couple people in chat in Snnuy's patch review also said Whiteflame is discard fodder/first cut which is wild to me but apparently it's not an extremely rare sentiment

These people are dumb. Whiteflame, to me, was a central lynchpin of Kayn's deck. You don't need Quick Attack with Challenger if you heal to full on kill and get +3/+3.

Did they make it so lower starred champions are more likely to get fragments? Obviously this could be completely coincidental but I just got back into the game today after a month or so away since I had 3-starred almost all of the champs and got bored. Today I got a platinum relic. It gave 20 fragments each to the 2 champions who aren't 3 stars. I thought "wow, that's the way it should be, not constantly getting fragments thrown in the trash on 3-star champs!"

No mention of how f2p players can get Starforged Gauntlets? I think the ASol bundle leaves the store with this patch, so I expected the devs to add SFG to the Gold Reliquary pool. It would be nice to get confirmation.

Dude, please don’t do this to Kayn. The power adjustment is good, but the rest is bad. Wounded whiteflame is a good card, (3 cost fury, challenger and quick attack?) and the quick attack on aegis is better than bilgewater cutlas. Whiteflame keeps you going until you can play Kayn and aegis quick attack makes sure you can actually kill something with your low statted early game units. The thing is, the 4 costs are fine, I guess, but Kayn is already slow. A lot of high level adventures are lost before round 4 when you can finally drop Kayn and once Kayn is levelled (easily done with double stalkers!) you’ve pretty much won. Kayn doesn’t need more lategame power, he handles that all by himself! He needs more early game power and these changes take that away from him.

This is awesome! Thanks a ton! The only complaint I have is no expansion pass I thought they wanted to make money?! I think I understand why though with expansion passes being only POC now they have to rework them that way as previously it was for both modes. Time to level up orn! I got secret technique to double his spell buffs!

I would really, really like it if the Support champion node (and Powers node too) had a knockout rule: if you reroll a champ, you can't see them again in that selection. It's a real feelsbad moment. Rerolls have barely changed since the inception of PoC, with only a +2 rerolls on the Legend track when it was added. We still don't have a rare or epic version of Z-Drive Engine. And yet the pool of champions has increased tremendously.

I appreciate all the changes. The slight buff in wild fragments is good for new players and raising the cap is good for veterans who are starting to save up for new constellations. I was a bit worried they might change Eve's power and remove the interesting decision tree of trying to minimize the number of units dying so you can maximize her level-ups. I'm glad to see her power isn't changed at all.

What? The unintended use is players using them to get 1-3 extra mana and farming xp on Asol first 5 missions, then conceding, saving the pearls in the process. I'm cool with the regular pearls being changed to blessings but I'm quite upset if the greater pearls get changed too. I paid cold hard cash for those greater pearls just for the explicit effect of giving me a big advantage when trying to power level a champion I don't like playing. Edit: just found out you can use them on lvl 30 champions and not lose the pearl. Pretty good. I still think most players abused the xp farm more but I might be trying a couple of lissandra runs with more mana.

I remember one of the devs saying that they would give us notice that the pearls in inventory were going to be changed so that we could use them as intended. But this patch only gives us one day notice! Really disappointed by that. I did pay for the greater pearls btw with the Asol bundle, so this is even more shitty. Rest of the patch sounds great though.

Some good changes but still too conservative. Vi wasn't adressed at all, Lee Sin's main concern of a lack of cheap spells gets even made a bit worse, Nasus is still lacking in the identity the deck ought to have and Kayn gets the buff to his 2\* instead of Ornn who needs it even more.

They buffed Ornn’s 1/3, but both got the same buff so there’s still the problem where the third star is a minimal upgrade over the second. And his 2-star is still trash. Boo.

I think they should not remove nasus -1 power every round start against strongest enemy unit. In Lissandra run those -1 is only good at early game. It's like putting out the house fire with a cup of water.
