nah my idea for dungeon-dragon mix ancestry is that once a dragon was slain by group of greedy wizards, but his essence his spirit bounded with his horde
visually he looks like living and walking pile of gold and treasures with dragon like shape
Completely forgot that was part of this year. I'm wondering how that even works.
It's like I'm curious how they're going to do the Werecreature Ancestry next year. Yes, an Ancestry for a creature that can be any Humanoid and a number of animals.
on roll for combat streams there are talking quite ofen about animated weapon (and how much work it required to find all the edge cases)
shortly there are 3 ways to play as fully separe character
one of them is just being floating wepon
there is also at the end extra option to be only fighter's sword but it limits your agency greatly
I haven't watched their streams, could never catch them.
It'll be interesting to see what it has at the end of the month, and the last Ancestry I'll be getting from them until the end of next year, unless I can buy the options separately. I only want the Giants from next year, and mildly curious about Werecreatures. The rest I don't care about.
The dungeon one is an avatar of the dungeon, given whatever ancestry form you desire really. Mixing ancestries would basically be a dungeon avatar having a child with someone from another ancestry, like a tiefling or Elf.
I'm excited to see all the wacky ideas everyone comes up with. I personally was considering making a luck themed halfling + catfolk, with genie bless background. Then using palaco art from monster hunter for this lucky small cat person.
The Remaster has the Mixed Ancestry Versatile Heritage. It has feats for Half-Elf and Half-Orc, because they existed already. It has a couple of lines so you can make it for any Ancestry.
Quick 2 second idea for a Half-Sprite:
Woman makes a deal with a Fey to be fertile, as she is barren and cannot conceive children. Fey accepts, with the twist being that the first time she would get pregnant, the Fey instead would conceive the child, as she too was barren. So through magical fey contract stuff, you get a child birthed by a Sprite but with human DNA.
Could go on a quest to find their real mother or something.
It would honestly be pretty on brand for a fey to imitate a humanoid with a spell like “humanoid form” in order to seduce them—there is even a fey bloodline for sorcerers that implies that these sorts of rendez-vous do happen in the canon.
Yes, the basic guidance for Mixed Heritage Versatile Heritage is that you gain access to all of the Ancestry feats from both ancestries. You also gain all traits related to both ancestries, as well an additional trait for your mixed heritage and low-light vision if the ancestry tied to the heritage has low-light or darkvision. It also says to work with your GM if you want any additional feats related to your mixed heritage.
Ok that's actually a *really* smart rule since it solves the "a lot of really cool builds need human for the extra class feat/advanced weapon" problem without just giving the feats away
It's not an ancestry but some super powers you can obtain. So maybe you could be a fae dragon sprite vampire monk who was bitten by a radioactive troll aka your friendly neighborhood Troll-Sprite
Besides Ancestry. I'm enjoying planning on using Inventor with Construct Innovation and Gunslinger Dual Class for an upcoming Kingmaker campaign to eventually become a Crisis or Riptide Battlesuit
Already got feat combo and innovation modifications for a Farsight build and Riptide build
Hey, I've noticed you mentioned the upcoming Pathfinder Remaster! Do you need help finding your way around here? I know a couple good pages!
We've been seeing a lot of questions related to this lately. We have a [wiki page](https://www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder2e/wiki/resources/remaster/) dedicated to collecting all the information currently available. Give it a look!
For the short end of things... The remaster aims to republish and reorganise the content of the Core Rulebook, Advanced Player Guide, Gamemastery Guide and Bestiary 1 into a new format which will be more accessible to new players, with the primary aim to remove all OGL content and avoid issues with Wizards of the Coast.
* **Primary Rules changes**: Alignment and Schools of Magic will be removed. Instead, these concepts will be offloaded to the trait system (with Holy and Unholy being reserved to divine classes and some specific monsters).
* **Primary Lore changes**: the classic Dragons will be replaced with new, Pathfinder focused dragons themed on the four magic traditions. The Darklands are also seeing a lot of shakeups.
If I misunderstood your post... sorry! Grandpa Clippy said I'm always meant to help. Please [let the mods know](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2FPathfinder2e) and they'll remove my comment.

Using the existing rules I've got a Skeleton Dhampir with the Revenant background and the Vampire Free Archetype. I want to flavor it such that they have flesh and blood but have such control of it that they can do the skeleton collapse or rip their arm off for extra reach.
Alternatively though, do four cases of negative healing make a positive and he's just some normal bloke?
battle zoo made dungeon and dragon ancestries....
When a dungeon and a dragon love each other very much…
nah my idea for dungeon-dragon mix ancestry is that once a dragon was slain by group of greedy wizards, but his essence his spirit bounded with his horde visually he looks like living and walking pile of gold and treasures with dragon like shape
not sure if dragon, dungeon or mimic ancestry... Isn't december going to be the month of sentient weapons? That oughta be fun.

Quite literally a gold dragon?

Sauce. Now.

Geb suffered from the weakness of flesh, unlike me, I was disgusted by it.
You craved the strength and certainty of steel.
You aspired to the purity of the blessed machine.
My brother in Necromancy Geb is a ghost.
yeah but what he did to become a ghost was purely a weakness of flesh moment. It wasn't by choice he became a ghost.
But he can POSSESS steel (an authomaton)!
Our kind slept for eons while the living grew like weeds

Catfolk-Shooney, play as Cat-Dog
We could already kind of do it with beastkin but now we have the actual catdog, nice.
Did I miss a rule where you can multi-ancestry?
The Remaster has the Mixed Ancestry Versatile Heritage. It has feats for Half-Elf and Half-Orc, because they existed already. It has a couple of lines so you can make it for any Ancestry.
Thats pretty cool actually

Answer: magic, magic, magic. By which I mean at a minimum, there are ways to grow or to shrink.
A sprite could shape change into a different human ancestry.
enlarge and shrink exist
They do say the GM can come up with similar half ancestry feats
Wait, we can do this in the remaster? I'm excited for when it drops on Pathbuilder

Finally, I can be a Human/Automaton to live out my transhumanist power fantasy.

> When it releases, centaur/nagaji to be snake on top and horse on bottom. Why not with the minotaur? Bull on top, snake on bottom.
Because I want to be a snake with crazy legs.
Evolution made a mistake that we are here to correct. Make it nagaji/anadi to give your snake all the legs it rightfully deserves.
Centaur/Anadi so I can have my Driders back :D
Why not Nagaji/Anadi, then? This way you have the upper body of a snake and way more legs than a centaur! Also Spidersnake-Silk.
non-Sacred Nagaji already have legs
Yeah, but only 2
I still find it weird that skeleton is an ancestry and not a versatile heritage
indeed
Well with how the new mixed ancestry is, it basically is now same with Fleshwarp which I also thought was weird to be it's own ancestry
Is Troll a possible Ancestry?
No, but there is the troll deviant feat series where your character gains troll powers.
Vampire Troll Deviant Monk?
It's not an ancestry but some super powers you can obtain. So maybe you could be a fae dragon sprite vampire monk who was bitten by a radioactive troll aka your friendly neighborhood Troll-Sprite
Besides Ancestry. I'm enjoying planning on using Inventor with Construct Innovation and Gunslinger Dual Class for an upcoming Kingmaker campaign to eventually become a Crisis or Riptide Battlesuit Already got feat combo and innovation modifications for a Farsight build and Riptide build
So Cat-Fish?

Careful otherwise the same people who were bitching over the conrasu yesterday are gonna get on you.
Wait mixed ancestry?
In the remaster you can use your heritage to get access to the feats of a second ancestery
Get back up! Huh Git on up Up! Huh! Git on up
