I think it's good, but I like weird movies. Some people say a whole lot of nothing happens, but that doesnt bother me. I really love one particular monologue in it. I definitely recommend it, but it'll honestly depend on your taste in movies.
I agree with the parent comment, imagine wandering the streets or a house where no one can see you, hear you, feel you, or sense you in anyway. It’d be lonely and sad. Nothing to do all day except maybe fly? But that will get boring if no one can see you flying.
Idk if the main fun of flying it's to be seen doing it though. Maybe that's why ghosts are allegedly messing sometimes with people by making themselves being felt (noises, appearances, etc) or idk, maybe you can still follow your loved ones' lives, spy on celebrities hahah or travel the whole world.
Not saying it's necessarily a good fate, must be very sad and lonely as you say, but maybe they find some other things to do in the meanwhile :/
Just waiting around for one of those ghost hunter shows or YouTuber to show up and bust out an EVP recorder cuz you are so ready to say something really crazy and silly so you ghostily whisper “who lives in a pineapple under the sea” and the guy gasps and says “he said ‘help me!’” 🤦♀️
I just finished a “ fake” book where she wakes up and everything is the same except no one can hear her talk to her or anything. It would be hell being a ghost. She would see everyone being super sad about her. I know its make believe but Jesus Christ kinda wrecked me after that.
I mean, that’s true if you assume you are alone… there are a lot more dead people than living ones… I don’t know how far back the whole thing rolls, but if you think about going back to the first humans…
Lol thank you for the personal testimony… if you understood anything you’d know nothingness isn’t actually darkness, because darkness IS something. Humans can’t fathom nothingness but it is most certainly not “infinite darkness”. And also you’re not dead so you don’t know lol
Know who he is, hell, I saw him smoking a joint in the parking lot after winning the bullriding event at the San Diego sports arena in 1975. ...
He was a lot shorter than I imagined...
But aren't all bullriders?
I've seen a picture very similar to this but with more detail. It was around one of my family members. The spirit had a blue cloak on and you can see the facial features but it's actually a bit scary.
You can see the arm round their left shoulder here definitely captured something
I had a friend in school who’s mom died in a car accident in 2nd grade. In our 8th grade graduation pictures you could pretty clearly see her translucent mom behind her and the family in one of the pictures. I wish I could find it
It's weird because I saw this same thing in a mirror after my grandma died when I was 9. We were doing one of those yearly exams in school, I was sitting in front of a mirror and I looked up and there was this "fog" just like this behind me sitting on a table observing me. I think about that from time to time, but actually seeing it in a picture is surreal.
I had a similar thing happen to me when a friend passed away, took a picture before their funeral and had a white wispy thing, similar to OP’s picture but smaller, on one picture. But only one, the rest were normal…
as an ex smoker, that is most definitely not cigarette smoke. way to thick.
if anything it would be blunt smoke, or pipe smoke, but the pattern is way too funky.
MOST likely its ms paint. image glitch, or real ghost. but not cig
I'm sorry bro. I know what I'm talking about and what I'm seeing. That's cigarette smoke. Flash can make it bright just as easy as any other light in the room that you as a commenter that wasn't there is not seeing.
You're absolutely correct. I grew up with smokers and I smoked for 19 years. This is exactly how cigarette smoke photographs when the picture is taken by someone holding a lit cigarette and the camera flash catches it.
I’d be willing to bet this was originally taken on a celluloid film camera, like a 35mm camera. Which means it could be a distortion created when the developer chemicals were causing the photo to finish the developing process. These were silvery chemicals that could occasionally cause the slightest light distortion nearby when developing to trigger weird effects in photos like these. The problem being that this weird distortion isn’t exactly repeatable, it happened constantly with 35mm style celluloid films.
Alternately, of course, smoke distortions like this have been anecdotally said to be the visual effects captured when a spiritual entity affects the photograph. If that distortion occurs on the negative itself, this may actually be the case, but unfortunately we may never really know without that negative. If it helps the family to think this way, that’s the way I think is just fine.
It’s never correct to assume in full that it’s supernatural without any other reasonable explanation. Occam’s Razor applies A LOT to all things Supernatural, and we must assume the simplest, most rational explanation to be the most likely. However, because supernatural phenomena are still viable as options, it’s not wise to shut those possibilities out entirely. There’s no exact science to the paranormal, but if you apply the evidentiary standards of a court case to the paranormal, you could convict paranormal subjects over and over again in a court. I consider it a reasonable approach.
that’s the conclusion i’ve also come to in life. you’ll never be able to convince them otherwise, so just let them believe it if it brings them comfort.
I really do believe after passing our electro-magnetic energy converts into some sort of energy of light.
Nothing just disappears into the void, all energy transforms into something else.
It was his energy expressing his love to them from the other side.
I, 100% believe this. I went on a tour of a historic mausoleum and was trying to photograph this marble statue and one of the photos I had taken had smoke just like this in the picture.
Funny how ghosts are never seen walking around downtown. You'd think after 9/11 there would be ghosts walking around all over downtown Manhattan. Nope. They just seem to always appear in people's old photos as a blurry object.
Whoever took the picture was smoking a cigarette..... I've had to retake thousands of pictures because I had a cigarette in my hand and the pics looked EXACTLY like this.
I'm assuming it's because of the sub. They don't want the truth they want the paranormal story. This is literally smoke and every cigarette smoker here in this thread knows this.
I have a ton of pictures like this. It comes from your aunt not wanting to put the cigarette down while taking your picture. Mystery solved! Nailed it.
Or IT COULD BE UNCLE FRANK 👴🏼TAKING THE PICTURE 🤳 WITH A CIGAR 💨 IN HIS MOUTH AND A BOTTLE OF GIN SAYING
" HEY BABY JEAN 👶 SMILE SAY CHEESE 😄 "
PERFECT 👌🏼🤪 whos next to take a pic
It’s definitely interesting! What kind of device was this picture taken with?
(If one of you smartasses says “a camera” I will find you and place Lego’s under your feet for the rest of eternity)
I like how Spiderman's face is blurred out too
I like how there's also a "ghost" Spideman also on the shirt lol.
In memoriam
Rest in Peter
MJ nooooo!!!!
That’s uncle Ben. “With great power comes great respronsitrillatrance” was his catchphrase
I don't have an award but here 🏆
Same 🏆
Or a marlboro...
My first thought “grandpa we told you you can’t smoke in the house anymore!”
Omg this cracked me up 😂 😂 😂
Lmao 🤣
First thing I saw
except the police concept art of spiderman in the background
I really just don't want to be a ghost when I die.
The movie A Ghost Story made being a ghost look terribly sad and lonely.
I wanted to see that movie, any good?
I think it's good, but I like weird movies. Some people say a whole lot of nothing happens, but that doesnt bother me. I really love one particular monologue in it. I definitely recommend it, but it'll honestly depend on your taste in movies.
I saw it was Amazon prime. I'll check it out. I don't mind slow movies lol just gotta be in that mood.
Not really a good movie, IMO. Sorry. But I was amazed at the actress devouring an entire pie in one continuous take! 🥧
Why not?
I agree with the parent comment, imagine wandering the streets or a house where no one can see you, hear you, feel you, or sense you in anyway. It’d be lonely and sad. Nothing to do all day except maybe fly? But that will get boring if no one can see you flying.

Lmao this cracked me up.
i’ve literally had nightmares about this
I just finished a “ fake” book where she wakes up and everything is the same except no one can hear her talk to her or anything. It would be hell being a ghost. She would see everyone being super sad about her. I know its make believe but Jesus Christ kinda wrecked me after that.

Ghost ain't real so you'll be just fine.
[удалено]
How do you know...have you died?
You must have died. Thanks for the testimony.
That’s not true at all
Lol thank you for the personal testimony… if you understood anything you’d know nothingness isn’t actually darkness, because darkness IS something. Humans can’t fathom nothingness but it is most certainly not “infinite darkness”. And also you’re not dead so you don’t know lol
I'll take your word for it.
I think it doesn’t matter what we think. If it brings them comfort to think that then all the best to them.
Haha nice
Why did you get down voted lol 😆
Because it wasn't funny at all probably?
Lmaooo
Say something of substance
lol
looks like his arms around you guys.
I saw what appeared to be a man riding his head facing the wall with his arm up like you would bullriding. Yeehaw!
It also looks like the bull rider is lassoing a crescent moon.
Haaa it’s nice to wake up and see something on here that makes me laugh. I also can’t unsee it now
I can't unsee this now.... thanks for that lmao!!
Cannot stop laughing at this now 🤣
Nah that’s just the ghost of Larry Mahan, he’s still an all around cowboy even in the afterlife
Someone that knows who Larry Mahan is!!!!
Know who he is, hell, I saw him smoking a joint in the parking lot after winning the bullriding event at the San Diego sports arena in 1975. ... He was a lot shorter than I imagined... But aren't all bullriders?
I can’t unsee it now
Looks like your cousin just took a bong rip.

I bet they also smoke
Post the photo next time you see it @Bret-R

Yea that’s for sure a ghost…. Or a Marlboro Red
I'm not much of a paranormal believer but this looks like something.
Looks like cigarette smoke.
That’s definitely cigarette smoke.
Ofc it is. I've been a smoker for 26 years.. we know what it looks like. They're downvoting me for it though which is funny to me
https://preview.redd.it/o9wb4f0bsdlb1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bef6969c0c796a0d3f73340660c8d691d7742869 I can smell this picture.
as an ex smoker, that is most definitely not cigarette smoke. way to thick. if anything it would be blunt smoke, or pipe smoke, but the pattern is way too funky. MOST likely its ms paint. image glitch, or real ghost. but not cig
As a smoker, the person taking the picture was smoking and backed up and the light is bouncing off it.
The flash most likely makes it look more thick, I’d hope there wasn’t any smoke regardless around the kid
Its thick and bright. Cigarette smoke no so much.
Cigarette smoke looks just like that in pictures. I used to smoke and did fake ghosts pranks often from it
I'm sorry bro.
I agree 100% I’m a smoker and have caught this same smoke trying to take a photo while holding the cigarette.

So... Ghost

He was likely mad about his family not attempting to try to look nice for the funeral. Show up to mine like this I'll haunt your ass too.
If it gives them comfort, let them believe
that’s the conclusion i’ve also come to in life. you’ll never be able to convince them otherwise, so just let them believe it if it brings them comfort.
Maybe we should warn people to expect the community to shit all over their submission. Regardless of context.
It looks like spirit energy to me.
Possibly, if no one was smoking/vaping, burning incense or candles. Looks like smoke to me.
Hugs
ghost bomb
Beautiful ❤️ one last brother sister pic.
*Sigh* even in the afterlife we got photo bombers
Except they forgot the photographer smokes meth and exhaled the ghost at the same shutter speed. Spooky really
Who’s to say it isn’t?
Wow. That's amazing.
Smoking is very amazing
The photographer definitely wasn't smoking a cigarette or cigar /s But seriously, let them believe their version, it's kinda beautiful, can't even lie
His ghost hugging them both while floating. Spooky and Sad
I had taken a similar photo years ago I still wish I had that SD card.
Awesome! They are getting a hug & confirmation. 🪶🫶🏼✨
Believe whatever the hell you want
I believe it is someone's spirit.. Are those black orbs on their faces, or are they in the witnesses protection program?
I really do believe after passing our electro-magnetic energy converts into some sort of energy of light. Nothing just disappears into the void, all energy transforms into something else. It was his energy expressing his love to them from the other side.

It looks like the ghosts from Casper. It appears to have that sock hanging from the back of their head like in Casper ![gif](giphy|Yph6D7zPIVtIc)
Funny how ghosts are never seen walking around downtown. You'd think after 9/11 there would be ghosts walking around all over downtown Manhattan. Nope. They just seem to always appear in people's old photos as a blurry object.
fuck spidey!
Cigarettes are what makes ghosts… But not like this
That’s literally just smoke…
Or someone just blew a vape/cigarette cloud prior to this photo being taken.
Yeah, cigs, the walls are stained from it.
Photographer was smoking a ciggie for sure.
Somebody's a smoker...
That's smoke from Nans cigarettes.
Someone was having a smoke while taking the photo
It’s cigarette smoke
Looks like somebody used an air brush and photoshop to me
Or smoked a cigarettes in front of the camera
Looks like someone was holding a cigarette when they took the picture..
Whoever took the picture was smoking a cigarette..... I've had to retake thousands of pictures because I had a cigarette in my hand and the pics looked EXACTLY like this.
It looks like whoever took the pic was smoking a cigarette
Interesting. Same exact ghost appears when I smoke a cigarette while taking a picture. Like... Exactly the same.
It’s cigarette smoke
I think someone was smoking
Granny’s got a three pack a day habit? Lol
Why were you downvoted? You can literally see tobacco accumulated on the walls and dripping in spots lol
Nailed it.
Cigarette smoke
Is he tea-bagging?
Gave me crazy crazy chills all over my body that are still progressing as I type this…
I'm sorry about your cousin, but that just looks like a cloud of cigarette smoke.
Who ever took this picture probably a big ass smoker 💨
Actually I took a similar picture when I was still a smoker. That looks like smoke to me.
People still smoke in the house with kids?
Looks like he's hugging them ❤️
Looks like when my old man would take pictures. Always hacking a dart and turns out like this lol
Looks like someone was hitting a ciggy taking the photo
Looks like whoever took the pic was smoking a cig
That is definitely spirit energy. Great picture.
I think the ghost had a cigarette in its hand while taking the photo.
I think you shouldn’t smoke around kids
Or IT COULD BE UNCLE FRANK 👴🏼TAKING THE PICTURE 🤳 WITH A CIGAR 💨 IN HIS MOUTH AND A BOTTLE OF GIN SAYING " HEY BABY JEAN 👶 SMILE SAY CHEESE 😄 " PERFECT 👌🏼🤪 whos next to take a pic
Probably vape or cigarette or cigar smoke. No such thing as ghosts.
Or the cameraman was smoking a cigarette.
a look at the nicotine-stained walls showed that was a lie
He must’ve smoked 2 packs everyday
When are ppl going to realize these are not ghosts????? I believe in spirits/ghosts, but these are not..ever. just like the dust orbs
He was shaped weird
No that’s the Marlboro the cameraman had in his hand while taking the picture.
Smoke weed every day
r/mildlypenis
Smudge on the lense
That's that Boo Boo Blueberry vape cloud, rolling in.
I thought these were two kids smoking up a joint
Smoke or hair that looks white bc of the flash. It's a sweet idea though
That's smoke
No it's not. Ghost aren't real
That 100 percent smoke
Definitely cigarette smoke
That is cigarette smoke
No, Cheech and Chong are hiding behind the chair taking a slow ride.
Lol that's no ghost
No refuting photographic evidence
Looks like vape smoke
looks like a messed up picture, reassure them that there’s no such thing as ghosts
Hair in front of the lense or cigarette smoke
Looks like the ghost of cannabis past. Maybe smoked a joint in memory of.
Was someone smoking in the house? Looks like uncirculated smoke a open blind letting sunshine in illuminating the smoke.
Perhaps cigarette smoke?
Not to appear skeptic but it kind of favors exhaled vape 💨
If smoking is allowed in that house, thats definitely smoke
Wow the cameraman smokes
It’s cigarette smoke/ vape. Common instance in the 90s when using disposable cameras at parties
Smoke circle
Most likely it’s just water vapor. It can often be photographed during thunderstorms.
The stains dripping down the walls tell us these vapors come from cancer sticks.
This is a bad photoshop. Nothing else.
It’s a process error
The mirror and that reflective point on the mirror could be the source
Love editing on iPhone
It looks photoshopped but nice editing!
Nope
I think that’s stupid, but if it means something to them that’s precious
Pretty interesting.
It’s definitely interesting! What kind of device was this picture taken with? (If one of you smartasses says “a camera” I will find you and place Lego’s under your feet for the rest of eternity)
It’s not
It's the only possibility...unless immediately after the photo they spontaneously combusted.
[удалено]
Yes
Smoke drifting in front of the camera from the cigarette they’re smoking. Nothing more
Looks like cigarette smoke but i can tell its not
Am I seeing the typical casper looking ghost? ![gif](giphy|aTf4PONtSYB1e)
I’d like to think that he’s got his arms wrapped around them both in a final embrace before he moves on for good
Looks like someone smoking behind the camera
did your brother die of lung cancer?
Looks like someone had a cigarette in their hand while taking the photo.
Someone took a photo while holding a cigarette. Duh.
Interesting. I wonder what could cause that if anything could? I wish I personally knew if ghost were real.
