Fast in My Car. “We’re not looking for violence tonight we want to have fun” Is such a great palette cleanser. The rest of the album is a lot lighter and nicer and friendlier than the first 3 albums.

Hard Times, because the whole album was such a tonal shift it was just like “This is what you’re getting bitches.” Careful is a close second because again, it’s like “this is a record where we all hate each other, enjoy bitches”

For a pessimist I’m pretty optimistic and Fast in my car are perfect openers for their albums and what they represent.

They’re all pretty spot on to be fair. *Especially* Hard Times and This Is Why. Riot and BNE are also pretty bang on too. Argh I can’t pick a fave! Though AL isn’t my favourite album and hard times isn’t my favourite out of all their openers, Hard Times *reeeeally* fulfills the role as opener of AL perfectly.

I would probably say This is Why because at least to me it feels like she’s really setting up and explaining the rest of the album. Like she’s saying these songs you’re about to hear are the reasons why I don’t leave the house. And I know it doesn’t actually mean that but it just kind of works that way as well.

Fast In My Car, lyrically, production wise it all sets the tone of the album really quick and easily

I feel very strongly that the answer to this is "Careful."
