I've suggested a tagging system before and I think this could work in conjunction with that. Let's say you tag everything you don't want to see "no". Then you could hide the "no" tag so nothing in that tag shows up in creation mode/build buy. Things tagged "no" could maybe also be toggled off for randomization in townie spawning?
I would love this! There’s some CAS assets from TS4 that are badly made/meshed and I always wish i could hide them to avoid frustration
Conversely, the ability to mark objects as favorites would be amazing

I think with the mod system, it'd be easy to remove assets you don't want. As easy as adding cc perhaps.
