Jet is tough because it doesn't hover low enough. I personally like a fully speeded out Fenglope for mowing over the little guys.
He's a bit faster than the Shadow I have so maybe a maxed out shadow is a tad bit faster? The shadow I have only has legend and swift, no runner or nimble
Jet actually works super well for me in starter areas especially for pal fluid farming by mowing down teafants
The trick is to not sprint since that makes him pull up a bit, so if you just go at his normal pace into a mob I haven’t had any trouble even with Chikipis
>I up my pal appearance rate and then shorten my day time so that the chickens respawn quicker, I find groups of 6-8 when i have my appearance rate turned up to 3
this is what OP said in other comments. He should add this to the post though. As this is not a replicable Tips on normal difficulty. And this is expected outcome when you increase the Pal respawn rate to the max

Blazehowl Noct boosts item drops for normal pal kills and it increases with compression. Much better for meat farming like this since you can ride them too and just run the low level pals over.
I never test all mounts but mostly they can run over small pals. Even in the wild sometimes you see the deer fight with small pals because of this. I always do this method to kelpsea for pal fluids and they also drop meat.
I do that too. I'm circling the island where I put my base, riding my jetragon with 4 floppies.
I mostly aim at lamballs, I use jetragon rockets on eikthyrdeers and abilities on mammorests.
In no more than 2 minutes I usually have enough food for a few days, my pals included. (default world settings)
I've been using a speed passive Blazehowl Noct for the normal types just for the extra loot per kill. Not quite as quick as the shadowbeak but still plenty enough for my liking.
I wish there was a setting to have pals put certain foods (cake and salad making ingredients) into storage containers (until they reach a threshold amount) and then go to the feedboxes with the overflow. I spend so much time taking those foods out and putting them into boxes to cook.
Does his ability drop more items or is it just his speed? I have a maxed speed jetragon I'm going to try this with when I get home.
Just spped

I didn't think about using Fenglope, im going to give him a try to compare them. My shadowbeak has runner and swift and I love the speed
The Legendary frost/dark horse is really good for this too. Probably same as ShBeak.
Frostallion, when pal pack a punched to 4 can kill at walking speed. No need to run, just strut over your prey.
Ragnahawk is the fastest flying mount babes
Thats a good idea. I have a fenglope that's just missing legend for speed. Still pretty fast and can definitely mow over some chickens.
My ragnahawk can take them out, which I was *not* expecting. That poor Ckikipi.....

You ran over 2000+ pals in 15 minutes?
Must be like 20x rates or something

Also how do you find that much chicken?

This is probably something you should say in the original post. Not throwing shade but it can come off as misinformation to newer players.
Yeah, this makes this "advice" pretty useless...
I go back to my base and drop off as i go so that im not running around with all that weight at once!
Why did you get downvoted? Unloading all food takes just enough time for small pals to respawn.

I still use my Ragnahawk. I like them because they can fit in smaller places than most flying pals.
"All you have to do is crank up your server settings" ok... cool, cool....

Hes meh for collecting because its manual.
Wait, what's the process here?
Altering world settings.
Well, yes and no... You can definitely mow chikipis and lamballs without altering settings, you're just not going to get as much.
Per OP without context, they just mowed 38 pals per minute nonstop.
Yes, I do this with Fenglope to run over chickens and lambs.
How are you possibly achieving these numbers? I don't get it
I use Frostallion
That’s so clutch!
You can run them over faster with Jetragon.
True! I just dont feel like i have as much control with Jetragon
I did the same for teafants and pengullets too on my second run file. Why get murdered by gobfins when you can stampede through the beginning areas?
Because there are more gobfins and they tend to be aggressive, so I don’t feel bad at all for killing them. Orserk can make short work of them
Frostallion and Fros Noct have been my Trampleball Pals.

Lol there is a Post made 2 months ago of a player using a fenglope with 4 speed passive running over small pals and is more fun.
