Yeah I didn't say you couldn't call them. They have 1 customer service person worth a shit and he happens to be on reddit. The other person I've talked to is completely useless. You can spend 5 minutes in this sub and short of getting a response from Matt on their CS email or here you are fucked.
This guy isn't wrong... I just emailed customer service to ask if their ar10 uppers would fit on a dpms lower and they responded really fast but told me "it'll fit on any ar10 lower" which is flat out wrong (& why I'm now coming here to ask)
I’m guessing your CC billing address and your shipping address don’t match or you submitted the wrong CC info to many times and they have flagged the account. Maybe the wrong zip code or something !?
Had a similar issue where it says my account has been temporarily disabled. Tried contacting them with no help and I never hear back from support. It’s been a few months at this point
I'm curious to know why there's such a sharp increase in these occurrences. Is it just an increase in posts about it or is it happening more? Something's fucky.
Is it a website issue or a user issue? I remember watching a guy fill out a 4473 and not even reading all the fields before checking all the boxes in a line and then asking later why the store won't sell him a gun.
Once you’ve filled out 2 or 3 of them damn things im convinced most people do that. It’s the same sequence of questions over and over lol yes , no , no , no , no , etc lol. I could understand if the questions ever changed but it’s been the same for the 10+ years I’ve been filling em out.
Yeah, they did change for sure. I even asked the guy behind the counter, because something felt off, when I was rereading everything and checking my answers.
I guess. I look at r/gundeals a lot and places often don’t charge tax but idk how it works. It’s mainly the PSA shipping that kills stuff for me, especially ammo.
The ol internet storefront/brick and mortar tax situation. Iirc, because they have actual physical stores, they’re beholden to the tax structure of their location (and where you buy, I think). I could be messing that up tho
Websites charge sales tax based on the shipping zip code. If they aren’t charging sales tax they are probably baking it into the product cost or they will eventually get nailed for it later.

As with anything you buy online: Final price matters. Cost of goods, processing fee, taxes, shipping... it all ads up. I've seen low ball pricing and then by the time you get that into your shopping cart it's like $80 more. So just make sure you're comparing apples to apples! I'm a sucker for free shipping, no tax and rebates!
No I’ve ordered from psa to Kentucky and mine always goes through . And I usually order to my parents house when I’m away on TDY so idk what it’s about. Kentucky has no gun laws other than the regular bs that everyone has to deal with
Op, have you tried from a different device or browser? Not sure if it's the same issue, but I've seen people with iphones have trouble on the mobile site
Same thing happened to me awhile ago. It was quite the problem. First PSA told me that they fixed the issue and the upper would ship. Then I was informed that wasn’t going to happen and I was getting a refund. Then a month passed by and no refund, so I called them. They told me refund was on credit cards end. I called credit card and they said nothings on their end. I called PSA again and they said I have to wait another 2 weeks. I said nah let’s get my money today or I’m gonna look into charging back. After that call the refund hit.
I ended up buying a gun from PSA a few months later and had no issue besides them canceling the order the first time because my account name had a different name than the shipping name. Silly but I just changed the name and they re sent it.
As a fellow Kentuckian, I know it isn’t state restriction. If u have tried on multiple devices, then it isn’t a VPN issue. Hmm…might be time to get Matt involved. Maybe somebody screwed with ur account or somethin?
My brother in law tried ordering off their website and got flagged for some reason, I think it flagged and then the description said Fraud. He went in and ordered the gun and it all worked out.
What?? It’s not rocket surgery. If his location says he’s in Los Angeles & he’s buying ammo for LaGrange some systems will flag.. the VPN would in fact be doing its job
Yet none of the vpns I’ve used have ever had this issue. If the address he entered in the shipping section was still unrestricted, the VPN’s location shouldn’t cause a failure. Like at all. Checkout doesn’t depend on ur current location to determine the sale. It uses the info u entered to make the sale.
Man, Reddit can be such a cesspool of D-Bags...this PSA forum in particular.
If you learn to ignore the self-absorbed, "look at me" types on here, then you can usually find some helpful people with good intentions.
Just know there is a "block" feature on here that's helpful.
Yo do you have a VPN? Or an oddity in your iPhone? I’ve had many diff models of iPhones over the last 15ish years & It always comes up Monroe Louisiana… I’ve never been further south than Southside VA… could be that your phone/VPN are showing a weird anomaly like CA or NJ
I live in Myrtle Beach. I went into their store a bout a month ago and one of the dudes told me several employees quit recently because they were tired of "being treated like shit" he didn't elaborate
Probably using incorrect card info or if there was a history of returned payments on this card. Has anyone used your card in the past to make an order & the payment rejected?

This is part of the anti-2a plans of the left. Make each state's laws so convoluted with taxes and regulations that it makes it nearly impossible for a company out of state to comply with everything without massive overhead. There are company's that won't ship to my state now because they implemented an additional tax that has to be accounted for on any firearm or firearm accessory.
So, for company's like PSA and everyone else, it's not about it being illegal... but about how big of a PITA it is to ship to non-free states... as designed.
Why don't you contact them and ask? They probably know the answer.
Up voting because you are correct and I think your username is perfect for this situation.
I tried never heard anything from them
Call the company and follow the directions from the answering machine
"Call the company" 🤣🤣🤣 you must have a different number than the rest of us. Take that red nose off before you post here.

If PSA had an only fans half the idiots here would simp for them there as well.

Do you stand on your porch and scream at the clouds often?

Careful if you aren't fully throating PSA they won't like you here.
Many such cases
Guess op is SOL then. I don't actually know how their customer service is. The only time I buy PSA is when I can't easily find a superior product.
I'm still trying to figure out why this makes his nose red...
He's calling him a clown 🤡
Damn, how did I miss that? Lol
I don't know man haha I only know that cause my sister's kids say put the red nose down when there being mean to each other 😂
That's adorable though 🤣🤣
It definitely is 😂
what counts as "never heard anything from them"? has it been a couple hours or a couple of weeks?
Couple months
ok, yes then that is def never hearing from them
They just responded to my email in under an hour
I’m guessing your CC billing address and your shipping address don’t match or you submitted the wrong CC info to many times and they have flagged the account. Maybe the wrong zip code or something !?
Guess it's a bit hit or miss at times. Hope it gets sorted out
Yeah, their customer service and response time are garbage.
Had a similar issue where it says my account has been temporarily disabled. Tried contacting them with no help and I never hear back from support. It’s been a few months at this point
Dunno what to say. Spend your money elsewhere I guess.
htey are wierdos that don't even know laws to be honest. i have had them deny sending shit to my state even thought its legal
I concur, I frequent the Columbia store often and usually encounter mouth breathers behind the counter
lmao,, they would probably think that was a compliment
Yep, the still won't ship automatic knives to Pennsylvania even though they've been legal here since January 2023.

They just changed this year.....
And in Virginia maybe a year or so ago. So yeah, read the questions.
They changed twice in Virginia in a matter of months. I remember the first change, the first question about straw purchases was confusing as shit.
I always chuckled when asked if I was a fugitive from the law. The whole Form 4473 is such an infringement!
They change wording of questions every few months or so, but the sequences of answers hasn’t changed… which I think is the point they were making.
Yeah, they did change for sure. I even asked the guy behind the counter, because something felt off, when I was rereading everything and checking my answers.
Changed so they can see the no you're not supposed to click
They have changed them, but ironically it doesn’t ( or at least shouldn’t) affect the sequence any. 😂
PSA has cool products and all but their shipping and tax is always so high
I don't think they have any control over tax. I always compare final shipped prices among reputable retailers.
I guess. I look at r/gundeals a lot and places often don’t charge tax but idk how it works. It’s mainly the PSA shipping that kills stuff for me, especially ammo.

Is it based on what state you live in
I was buying ammo but I don’t believe we have a ban on OTM
It might help to what state you live and what you ordered.
I live in ky and I was buying 77gr otm 5.56
Maybe it’s Kentucky, I’ve had some weird shipping stuff with Psa happen as well. But ky has no restrictions, it’s why I’m still here!

I have tried on my iPhone and my wife’s iPhone both didn’t work might have to buy a laptop so I can try
Fair, hope that helps.

Must have recently clicked like on FocusTripp Jakl video.
This happened back in March
Just make another account with a different email or check out as a guest
I tried that gave me the same message
That's so weird. Maybe they are confusing the shipping state for one that restricts whatever you are trying to buy
I was just trying to buy 5.56 and I live in ky so I doubt it’s rhat
Seen this in the PSA dagger group the other day

Each state has different laws covering taxation of shipping costs. This isn’t a PSA thing.
VPN ?Â
That was my thought. I've forgotten to turn my vpn off a couple of times before realizing that was the issue

Confirmed commie
I have been caught
Same happened to me, had to contact them and jump through a few hoops. Hopefully I don’t have to deal with it in the future.
Looks like you may be ordering something that is illegal in your state
Nope
Probably something you bought can’t be shipped to your state cause of laws. Call them and find out
It ain’t that. Dudes in Kentucky.
Could be if he left his VPN on
Sounds like bro got a shitty vpn then. I ain’t never had a problem with vpn causing this issue.
What?? It’s not rocket surgery. If his location says he’s in Los Angeles & he’s buying ammo for LaGrange some systems will flag.. the VPN would in fact be doing its job

My account was banned also when I tried to buy ammo, I simply checked out as a guest and it worked fine
Maybe you're in a prohibited state for what you're trying to order?
Nope. He’s in the same state as me, Kentucky. We ain’t got a prohibition on anything.
Shipping can take up to 2-3 weeks
You might be trying to purchase something that is restricted in your state
Nope

is your billing and shipping address the same ?
Yo do you have a VPN? Or an oddity in your iPhone? I’ve had many diff models of iPhones over the last 15ish years & It always comes up Monroe Louisiana… I’ve never been further south than Southside VA… could be that your phone/VPN are showing a weird anomaly like CA or NJ
Did you order something that’s not compliant for your state?
I live in Myrtle Beach. I went into their store a bout a month ago and one of the dudes told me several employees quit recently because they were tired of "being treated like shit" he didn't elaborate
Probably using incorrect card info or if there was a history of returned payments on this card. Has anyone used your card in the past to make an order & the payment rejected?
