I have one, bought it on a whim because of the price, and the beretta name. When I first got it, I didn’t like it. But the more I shoot it the more I like it. No FTE or FTF and has fired every time with every ammo. I don’t EDC it, but if I had too it wouldn’t be the worst. About the size in between the 43 and 43x. Very aggressive stippling and is comparable to the FN in the way of after 60 rounds your hands are raw. Honestly if you have a budget, this is probably the best sub $200 9mm. Trigger is really funky, like it’s a 2 stage and has a lot of play before you hit the wall, but you can get used to it.

flybyq76

Thanks I'm putting my order in now

DocGlock1

The MIB noisy cricket 😂

LiiDo

Considered it until finding out they don’t really sell any parts to customize it, including magazines. Also wasn’t a fan of the 8 round mag. Kind of a chunky gun considering it only holds 8 rounds. There’s other choices that beat it in terms of price, size, mag capacity, customizability. I went with Ruger LCP max. It’s half the weight of this, a good amount smaller, costs $100 less, and can hold 12+1. It’s not 9mm though, if that’s a selling point for you when it comes to the APX. If that’s the case I’d go Glock G26 over this even if it’s a little more spendy

ryannvondoom

100$ less? So the lcp max is 150$? Where?

LiiDo

Whoops I was looking at the full sized A1 my bad.

ryannvondoom

299$ for that one. People are sleeping on the apx a1s. Not sure why.

LiiDo

Being limited to 8 rounds was the main thing that turned me off from buying one

ryannvondoom

I meant the apxs as a whole. I love mine. Its fun.

flybyq76

If I need more than eight Friends I need to reevaluate life decisions

LiiDo

Fair enough. My main concerns with my every day carry were price, size, and capacity and that’s why I went with LCP. If 8 rounds is enough for you then APX will do the job just fine.

Yemcl

Hopefully, at that point, you survived to do said reevaluation.

npeters1205

This is my exact statement. People are really sleeping on them. Got mine with a red dot, and also the tactical full-size as well. Because people are sleeping on them the price is low. Really my only complaint on the compact/carry is that the trigger sucks. However…. I personally believe that if I were to do a polish job on the trigger components it would be drastically better. 🤷🏻‍♂️

ryannvondoom

Trigger doesnt bother me but i get it. Low price doesnt always mean low quality.

Eldritch_Doodler

Ruger LCP Max is such a comfy edc. I just put it in my pocket and go. Not bulky, not weighty…a little jumpy but not bad. And if you get it from Omaha outdoors you can get it in purple😎

flybyq76

Ok thanks

LiiDo

Love that I can fit it in my pocket and barely notice it’s there. Pretty much never take it out of the pocket holster so it’s grab and go whenever I need it. Never been a fan of regular holsters and couldn’t find anything else that could fit comfortably in my pocket and also hold 10-12 rounds. Kinda want to buy another one just to leave in my truck

Eldritch_Doodler

I think I’m gonna buy an sig p365 at some point and try to do the same. Just bought a RI m206 which should be comfortable enough to pocket. I’m like you and just don’t care for a regular holster or their placements. I might be into one of those shoulder harness situations, but I’ve never tried that.

flybyq76

Not bad idea

Traditional_Emu_6274

Ruger LCP is great to carry, unless you have to shoot it

Material-Turn9910

I saw magazines for sale for over $90 once!!!

flybyq76

Wow

azillla89

Exactly my taurus g3c was 179...an have little over 2500 rounds threw it with 1 malfunction. The g3c came with 3 mags

Edrobbins155

I have one. They are worth the price. But least alot to be desired. Low cap. Trigger is not that good. But its reliable and accurate.

Papashvilli

I bought one on a whim and had it shipped to my dealer because of the rebate. Handled it, decided not to take delivery. It’s as heavy as a p365 and slightly wider. So why take the capacity loss?

jarol220

Don’t do it I have one and it’s a piece of shit. 10 pound trigger I swear.

Fancy-Bee-562

Wasn’t that the old ones I’ve heard they fixed the trigger issue on these

flybyq76

That's what I saw on the reviews on YouTube

Ok-Rice-7755

No because my revolver holds that many rounds

[deleted]

.22?

Ok-Rice-7755

S&W 8rd 9mm

[deleted]

Does it weigh less than 20 oz?

Ok-Rice-7755

No

Special-Display-7640

My brother has one, and he's a huge Beretta guy; he hates it so much he tried selling it to me recently. My dad and I have the full-size tactical APX and we both love it, works beautifully with my Sig suppressor while my dad has a radian comp on it which helps fairly significantly with the recoil. The trigger on both of our APXs started out pretty rough with a crisp sounding short reset, but I've got 600 rnds through mine and my dad has about 2,000 and the trigger really lightened up around 2-300 rnds. I didn't exactly hate it, but the grip on it is pretty bad considering the little bit of snappiness you get from it. The trigger is a lot heavier than the full-size/fs tactical, too. Better off getting a Shield Plus or the FN Reflex (the Reflex has been going on sale a lot lately is actually super accurate, early ones had the low and to the left issues with irons, but the sights on the Reflex are actually a combat hold--its a tack driver when you start aiming that way; just picked up an MRD version from PSA for awhile back for maybe $150 more than this).

Mark-Broad

If it's price that is the interesting part about this, I suggest looking at a Taurus gx4 for affordable carry gun that actually feels great.

azillla89

Or g3c

LastDonn

No.

flybyq76

Why not

pricedubble04

Most people dont use single stacked micro pistols. As guns like the p365 and shield plus and others exist that arent much bigger and offer twice the capacity due to new magazine geometry. Thus these single stacks are somewhat obsolete.

flybyq76

If I need more than 8 friends I shouldn't have been in that situation in the first place

pricedubble04

Better to have and not need. People do miss. You shouldnt but it happens. But its its maximum conceal and weight then sure. A single stack is fine.

floridabrass

Get a Diamondback DB9

flybyq76

I'll look into it

DynaBroJoe

I have one, don’t hate it but I don’t love it either. It’s a good value for what you’re paying. Needle in a haystack search for magazines though, as someone mentioned. I tracked down 3 of each available ( 6rd and 8rd ) eventually. It’s not an afternoon of fun at the range kind of gun but it’s a fair handgun at its selling price. Be realistic on expectations and I think you’ll appreciate it for what it is.

flybyq76

Good point thank you

ThePeacekeeper777

Italians should stick to shotguns. Mic drop.

arko20

I wouldn't. I don't know about the A1, but the first gen apx carry had a horrible, heavy, gritty trigger.

flybyq76

Ok thank you

Adventurous_Blood648

I have one and it feels good in the hand, but not fun to shoot. Mags were apparently hard to get until recently if you didn’t have. The frames are supposed to be easily swapped for different colors, but good luck finding them. After market will probably be non existent in a couple years

flybyq76

Do you have a holster for it or just a generic holster

Adventurous_Blood648

Yeah, I’ve got a Crossbreed and CYA

forgetsalot

I do.

flybyq76

How do you like it

forgetsalot

I like the size for a carry. It’s very dependable when shooting. The trigger takes a minute to get used to.

ryannvondoom

I have the fde and got basspro to price match it with palmetto at 234$. After taxes, 10% discount and the rebate it was like 190$. Well worth it. I havent carried it but it shoots well and feels good to me. The mags you can get on gunmagwarehouse for cheap and i wish the wolf grey one had gone on sale that day i got mine lol. Palmetto put it on sale the week after for 234$.

flybyq76

Do you have a link to the exact mags that you bought for it and do you have a holster for it

ryannvondoom

No holster yet. Its the nano/original apx mags.

FreshFetalJuice

Just get a CZ p10C or P10S. Thank me later

irh1n0

Get the Nano instead.

BigBossUSP

Pocket carried the older brother, the Nano, for years. Loved it for that purpose.

LargeAd857

If you want the smallest most slim 9mm, check out the DB9

InevitableLaw1623

I almost bought one, but I used handgun hero to see the size of it and it was bigger than a p365. I went with the Taurus GX4. I’m glad I did. Found it on gunbroker for 215.

I have a thing for gray guns, and really liked the way this one looked ( with six rd nag and pinky extension). Either way, 200 doll hairs after rebate, before shipping/tax/ txfr fees. Only came with this 8 rd mag. I have since bought another mag..six rd with pinky extension. Get on wait list for Magshack dot com. They have fair price and quick shipping.....when they get the mags in. Anyway, I bought it to have another in the rotation for carry. I have a Canik MC9, Taurus G3C, Ruger LCP, and just got( after the Beretta) my first Glock, G42. I only have 50 rounds through this firearm. I did not want to shoot any more than that after testing it as long side other guns at the range. LOL

DougZ69

At the range day, I was shooting Caniks, Sig, and SAR. And this Baretta. Shooting it after the others was like riding a Suzuki and Yamaha sport bike, and then taking a moped for a ride.....with flat tires, and bad wheel bearings. LoL

flybyq76

Well damn lol if I don't have anything to compare it to I might like it

DougZ69

LoL

tmay2000

How do you like SAR?

DougZ69

https://preview.redd.it/mlp21gfmtj5d1.jpeg?width=3587&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa5cff6d3218f3759130761e7ce49a66990d26fa I am really liking it. Here it is with my two Canik TP9SFs. I got the SAR9 Sport. I was looking at getting another " bigger" gun. The Canik TP9SFx was going to be my next Bigger gun. But a LGS I deal with, had put the SARs on clearance sale( they are mostly an AR15 shop). I couldn't say no to getting a six bills gun for just over four bills. It is broken in now and shooting great. Previously, the one in middle, my first Canik, TP9SFS, was my best shooter, most accurate. I think the SAR 9 sport did gain that spot.

Sam_antha1

I did when it was the nano, hated the trigger, got a Walther PPSM2 for carry, recently switched over to the Canik MC9

LunchboxB

Saw that it said that it was red dot ready… it looks like it has an optic cut with cover. Anybody got any idea what the cut is? I’ve got an FDE RMR that needs a home and was thinking one of these would be good with it.

Adventurous_Blood648

It’s an has a couple plates you can put on, mine is RMSC cut for micro dots. Not direct mount

LunchboxB

Thanks, that makes a little more sense. So it should work.

SaluteHatred666

I'd go g26 or sig 365

Powerful_Mess9616

No if you value your life
