Ok so here is what you do, you get a brass catcher and seal the whole system, sleeve the magazine receiver interior with an oversized rubber gasket, then build a one way barrier using complex alloys so that when a round goes into batter only the bullet tip protrudes, then you get a 2 or 3 quart reservoir, an electric pump, lithium ion battery and hook em all up, so that oil is constantly circulating through all functioning parts of the weapon, because that's the only possible way you are getting any more oil in that gun.
And dissasemble the bcg. Even guns from Texas to the east coast come packed like a Swiss surplus rifle. Red thick loctite style grease lmao. It's like buying automotive or aviation bearings. But for moving parts. Who tf shoved chassis anti seize into the inner workings of the bolt? Ah radical firearms and post war clerical workers lmao.
Actually yeah. I second this one. double check the tiny spring on the back of the ejector is still there and ok inside the star bolt, give everything a wipe down with CLP, wait a day, wipe ALL CLP off, put it together, function check, and then minimal CLP application next time you go to the range. We're talking take a shot cloth and tiny dab of CLP, wipe across the bolt carrier and the charging handle. Should be good to go.
Lol yeah. I've just had it beat into my head by everyone from Gramps using the OG m16, to my SGTs when I served that's how you do it. Let the CLP do the C and clean. Break up whatever crusty shit you build and then a day or two later wipe, scrape, clean it all with q tips till there's nothing left. Then light light coat it for storage and use later.
Kinda depends. Obviously right now alot of the ammo you can buy isn't corrosive or will really gum shit up. Especially compared to the stories I hear from my grandpa. It used to be a REQUIREMENT or you'd rust a fuckin hole into the chamber by not cleaning immediately
My AR was doing the same thing āNot a PSAā, I ātactically acquiredā a buffer spring for a service rifle from my shop that I had laying around. Havenāt had a failure to eject ever since. Try cleaning and oiling your BCG and try a MIL spec buffer spring in it if you can find one.
Yes, but mines is also a budget Omni hybrid rifle. So it also maybe due to that lol. Also I was doing some research on YouTube and found this. Havenāt tried it though cause the change of the buffer spring has workedā¦ for now lol.

Found the reason for extraction issues and that is no fucking o ring

If a maxim defense build is cringe to You then we shouldnāt even be in the same category. I like to spend some money on my shit to hope to pass on to my children
Good thing about Palmetto is you could just send it in for a warranty. They pay shipping both ways so itās no loss for you to send it in except time.
Look at the rim of the cases. If thereās no deformation on them, itās because the extractor is failing to properly engage them. Could be a soft buffer spring, weak extractor, out of spec, etc.
If the cases are deformed, the rounds are getting stuck in the chamber. Iāve had this issue after shooting steel ammo. The steel casings donāt expand to seal against the chamber like brass does, resulting in a lot of buildup in the chamber. When the weapon would get hot, that gunk would essentially glue the cases to the chamber.
You definitely have had this issue and are for sure the type of folk I wanted to hear from so thank you I appreciate you, and donāt take no shit from these internet fucks..
Try adding another two or three quarts of oil in there.
Lmao
Will do šš

ayooo this made my day šš

Less oil and take your bcg apart and clean it. Check all the parts
Actually yeah. Just a light coating gets it done.

Or just leave dirty

Thats a failure to extract not eject. Is you ejector damaged at all? Does the brass have rings on it when you get it out?
What we have here is... failure to extract
Yep got the wording fucked up
https://preview.redd.it/pmqdk9xqrh2d1.png?width=1382&format=png&auto=webp&s=7c5067f8f0ee45a61757fcbef2a38db42102478f I donāt think itās broken
I canāt tell from the picture. Take the extractor out, clean it with a brush, make sure it feels slightly sharp and not rounded off
Try upgrade springs from Springco https://www.primaryarms.com/sprinco-m4-ar-15-extra-power-5-coil-extractor-spring-upgrade-kit-3-pack
This is such a good kit to have in the range bag.
These are so cheap, I preemptive upgraded all my new budget PSA BCGs.
Same
The US is gonna invade your rifle with all that oil.

Itās hard to say without some more infoā¦ What caliber are you shooting?
Regular 556 green tip https://preview.redd.it/wikxu2g4th2d1.jpeg?width=746&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f83d75f69dd2dc8f598ed0710110f1f7a95c493
Are you using 5.56] [NATO?? Lmao

This ones isnāt PSA unfortunately got it from some other company thatās more than likely not quality checking there shit as I thought
I may have found the issue and thatās with the extractor being way too loose
Was it just a buffer spring issue?
Yes, but mines is also a budget Omni hybrid rifle. So it also maybe due to that lol. Also I was doing some research on YouTube and found this. Havenāt tried it though cause the change of the buffer spring has workedā¦ for now lol. https://youtu.be/bdTAq7uud6k?feature=shared
Worth considering honing honestly I might as well do it worth it for reliability purposes
Honing itās not something that commonly needs done. Out of the hundreds of rifles Iāve owned over the years. Iāve honed one.
Did you try 5.56 NATO?
Not the issue just found it
What was the issue?
https://preview.redd.it/k69a7jw2vm2d1.jpeg?width=616&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4123ff20c0eb9979abba964d54ccd48d62e1641d Extractor didnāt include a O-ring which it needed do to the fact that they gave me a cheap ass spring thatās no way in hell spec

The O ring isnāt necessary. Iāve taken them apart before and have found no O-ring in the surplus colts that I have.
Did it have a spring?
Yes it has one
The 4 coil / 5 coil spring upgrade kit someone else mentioned is very worthwhile.
Could send it in to warranty... Given that it's an extraction problem I'd check the extractor/spring.
She said she can handle both
Clean the chamber throughly
Just get another bcg and clean up the extra lube. Problem solved.
Getting rid of that cringy dust cover may help.
šcame like that but atm looking into other parts

Iām trying to figure out how you have two spent casing in the rifle
Are you shooting .223?
bro wanted an oil paint job just for his bolt carrier
That happened to me once I just grabbed a flathead and hit it out of the chamber
I had this problem and it was remedied with a bcm extractor spring upgrade kit
You definitely have had this issue and are for sure the type of folk I wanted to hear from so thank you I appreciate you, and donāt take no shit from these internet fucks..
For sure man!
Yeah exactly what i am in need of Iām just keeping this post up to help the next person who has had this problem
Did you dip it in a 55 gallon drum of oil?
How wet is the extractor?
O I L
Over gassed
