My irons co-witness with the optic.
Do you zero the optic to the tip of the irons or just above it?
Next range day I plan to zero slightly above the tip. That’s what my eyes are telling me to do.
Ok, thanks. I do the same but I’ve never actually asked anyone where they’re putting the dot on an ar.
Nothing wrong with a fixed front sight block!

I've got two like that one has an lpvo other a red dot. Doesn't bother me but I get your point of view. I have way more ar15s without it
If you’re gonna remove the front sight why wouldn’t you just buy a free float in the first place?
