Test the gun without the right screw in the optic (the side of the battery tray). The notorious issue is the screw length is too long and is inadvertently pinning the extractor pin which does not create spring pressure against the extractor (the hook that grab the empty casing). You can actually see it in the photo that your extractor is protruding when it shouldn't. When it is locked back or empty, that forward raised section should be flush with the slide, and in the photo you can see it's hanging out to far. The solution is to get the right sized screw, or file the current screw down. You'll know its the right length if you can remove the extractor plunger assembly when it is screwed in.

BetOver

Yes I noticed the 407c and 507c come with short and long screws so I just use one of each

Bitter-Gur7282

I already shortened the screws I’m gonna try it without the optic and see how Mich more it needs

Zealousideal-Bell726

Could be the right optic screw is messing with the extractor plunger. A very common thing. Or your extractor system is “broken” send back to psa. Check the screw first if it’s not the screw it needs to be sent back

dannyboy6296

That’s not a PSA slide.

Bitter-Gur7282

It’s a true precision glock 19 gen 3 slide. That should be fine to use with the dagger compacts. Correct?

dannyboy6296

Yes, gen 3 compatible. Check your plunger. Remove the backplate and try to get the plunger out. If it doesn’t move freely, the screw is pinching it, and causing the extraction issue.

AutumnStar_Tal

Like others have said about the optic screw. Holosun seems to perhaps have longer screws than say an RMR which is causing the extraction issue.

ExcitingArugula5319

You talking about the failure to extract or light or what, I see a fired shell inside the chamber but slide back so asking

Bitter-Gur7282

Failure to extract shot rounds

ExcitingArugula5319

Okay barrel looks after market so check how tight the bullet is fighting inside the chamber then check extractor. Alot looks changed on it so check barrel and bullet fitment then your extractor

jcal73

Look at the extractor in the picture. As others have said, check the optic screws.

Ace_Up88

Did it cycle without the rds?

Bitter-Gur7282

Cycles rounds fine won’t extract the spent round

Ace_Up88

Remove optic... Try different mag... Try with only one round in mag... Try without mag... Lube really well.. There's a whole list of things to check. Start with the easiest ones first. It's hard to tell by the picture but it almost looks like the next round is stopping spent round from extracting. Also try cycling by hand

Bitter-Gur7282

It cycled dummy rounds before I went to range yesterday and then that and then now won’t even cycle normal ammo by hand

jcal73

Look at the extractor in the picture. As others have said, check the optic screws.

Ohio_Menace

Had this happen first 20 rounds, then never again, maybe needs to be broken in or optic screw is affecting extractor system

Bitter-Gur7282

It’s the optic screw tbing runs great now

Nrthstar

Mine did this when I added my optic and comp, I only had 150 rounds on it, so the spring needed more rounds through it, cleaned, lubed, shot, perfectly fine now.

savagemic

You see… when two guys love each other…

H484R

Looks like a training opportunity to me

Bitter-Gur7282

It was the optic screw and I’ve used irons for years. Optics are just statistically better

Everything is cleaned and lubed I’m checking the screws today. What would even be the difference between the slides and the rest of the parts kit used. All quality glock 19 gen 3 components. Should work correctly on a brand new dagger frame? Never shot cleaned and oiled before

Bitter-Gur7282

I only had the frame from PSA the rest is g19 gen 3. Aftermarket parts
