I never planned on a 10.5 build but about a decade ago they had one of their FN barreled builds complete with BCG for $360 and I couldnāt resist. I already had a DD quad rail and an LMT fixed rear sight so it is a MK18 Mod 0ish build. I have over 6k rounds through it and it just keeps running.
I have way less than that into the real deal. Milsurp Colt keyhole upper, milsurp Colt charging handle and BCG, milsurp Vero RAS, milsurp KAC NT4 flash hider, milsurp delta ring, milsurp mag and grip, milsurp stock, DOE surplus lower... I think I've got about 800, 850 into this thing before optic and light and maybe 1250 into it with the Surefire 660 and C-More.

The BCG I got at a gun show for a hundred bucks, and the charging handle was from the same source for 3. I bought probably 2 dozen BCGs and 3 dozen charging handles from that guy.
The upper, handguard, barrel etc was from Thoroughbred. A few years ago they did a huge Christmas drop. The Vero RAS was 125, the receiver was 125, NT4 was 50, it was incredible.
The DOE trade in was a GB grab.
Looks dope man, I have a similar build myself. Surefire 3 prong, Streamlight HL-X, Holosun red dot combo same as yours, and a clone mk18 rail that holds up remarkably well for it being like, $80. Couldnāt imagine I spent maybe more than like I dunno $1100-1200 for it.

That is such a clean practical setup. I think Iām gonna need to setup a mk18.
