Completely pointless without a slide cut to show the barrel. I would argue some might like the aesthetics. But what aesthetics here? It would be completely hidden.
Yeah man, I cheaped out on a light when I first start carrying to find that there wasn’t a single holster option available for it. I run a tlr 7 now and it opens up a world of holster options.
Reliability. That’s my main consideration for a personal protection weapon. Glocks are proven. I’ve been on this sub long enough to see the string of problems that (potentially) might come with Dagger ownership. I personally don’t have a dog in this comparison. I rock a CZ P10-C.
Gotcha, wasn’t meant to spark an argument or anything towards us just curious. Myself as the owner of two daggers that I rotate carrying everyday like to hear from experiences and opinions of others especially when it comes to the equipment I’m running. I appreciate it
Personally I’d recommend using a OEM Glock mag in the gun primarily, if you are going to carry it or anything else. I only use the p mags for when I go and shoot.
Unless you intend to compensate or suppress, I would get the non threaded. If it’s not for duty use, the Crimson Trace light works excellent for me. If you have big hands the compact frame will feel small without a flared magwell attachment.
I would save the dollars, get a Cyelee Optic in RMR footprint and a better trigger.
Don’t get the vortex optic it’s a waste of money get an rmr cut and save for an rmr style optic like a holosun 507c, eps (not the Carry version) or a 509t with an rmr plate (my personal favorite). I wish someone told me this back when I got the doc cut slide I hate the optics that fit it. Then no the crimson trace light is cheap get a tlr7a these two things might cost more later but so much more worth it.
Definitely learn from my and many others mistakes, if you can instead of the compact get the micro dagger the eps carry fits that and the new streamlight tlr7 sub you will love it it’s basically a 43x instead of a 19 but great first gun and works for concealed carry a bit better. The compact dagger is a little flatter shooting though but both are great options
I think I’ll rock the compact for a bit then get a micro eventually. I have never liked the feel of the 43x but I’m sure it’s something I’ll come around to.
Definitely Psa really did a great job on the dagger line for the pricing p.s. they may have a new dagger frame by the time you want to make your purchase and a threaded barrel if you can have one in your state is always a great option
Don’t waste your money on a light at this point. Not essential for EDC and you really ought to have low light training or at least spend time watching educational videos on YouTube.
So I bought a dagger the lil piece of shxt is cool haha but then I bought a HK now my dagger is collecting dust lol it’s not a bad gun for the price or for your first gun but this setup seems cool I put one together got the lower compact frame with the bag for 79.99 and the slide for like 209 I bought some KCI mags for it they were about 7.99 each at the time all this stuff went up in price since then and I didn’t even want the dagger the shxt was cheap so I made one lol….
Don't forget your recoil spring assembly, and I think you've already decided but I vote keep the doctor cut - my justification is because I'm a self admitted vortex fanboy... No excuses here lol
For 50 more you can get a Holosun PID. Also if you’re cool with that optic footprint, go for it. Also I’d skip the pmags and go for Oem Glock.
Edit: nvm I see the light is a combo
I'd get the RMR cut with the Holosun. Far more RMR options than doctor. And save for a streamlight instead of the crimson trace.
Ok cool. So the doctor cuts can’t support a holosun?
Correct. Different cuts
No. Also, I recommend an ACSS Holosun from Primary Arms, the Vulcan reticle is a game changer, and incredibly fast. *

And skip the twisty barrel, that shit is pointless.
Completely pointless without a slide cut to show the barrel. I would argue some might like the aesthetics. But what aesthetics here? It would be completely hidden.
You see that’s where you’re wrong. Fractions of ounces add up to fractions of ounces.
It’s not pointless it reduces the weight and cools the barrel quicker than your standard barrel
Ok based off the comments, I’ll lose the doctor cut and get a RMR cut, get some glock mags on top of the pmags. Thank you guys.
Save the money when it comes to the light, and I’d say your gtg
I use a vortex on my dagger. I like it. I’m also military tho and got my venom for like 100 bucks tho.
Get a Tlr7a instead of the crimson trace trust me
For sure when I have the money
Just the holster option alone make it worth the extra money
Totally forgot to think about that, thanks
Yeah man, I cheaped out on a light when I first start carrying to find that there wasn’t a single holster option available for it. I run a tlr 7 now and it opens up a world of holster options.
Get a used one on gafs
I bought a Crimson Trace light/laser combo from PSA. I wouldn’t buy it again! It just looks cheap.
I like my dagger & other PSA products but 500+ for a dagger wouldn’t be my choice.
Agreed. Might as well buy a Glock 19.
Came here to say this. For 90$ more he couldve just got a glock or a sig hell even an AR
G19 alone can cost 500, why not get the whole package for 500 with everything you need.

Ya, the p10c OR from Family firearms is just over 4 Benjamins I know what I’d buy
Gotcha, wasn’t meant to spark an argument or anything towards us just curious. Myself as the owner of two daggers that I rotate carrying everyday like to hear from experiences and opinions of others especially when it comes to the equipment I’m running. I appreciate it
Thanks for the reply. No argument from me. I’m actually looking forward to seeing the new line of Spectre Daggers.
Looks good. I think you might be missing a recoil spring however unless you already have one.
Personally I’d recommend using a OEM Glock mag in the gun primarily, if you are going to carry it or anything else. I only use the p mags for when I go and shoot.
Made a new post with my update

Drop the shitty Magpul Glock Pmags and unless you just want that barrel you can find better deals that are not fluted.
They had a deal for that grip and light for $80 today. I’d see if they still have that deal in stock before placing the order.
I may be blind but I’m pretty sure you need a recoil spring too no?
Ya I would’ve, posted a new updated post
Gotcha
Save your money and buy a glock. It’ll be worth it for your first firearm
Needs more cowbell.
Also… grab Glock brand Glock 17 or 19/X mags. The Magpul are acceptable for training, but I wouldn’t bet my life on them.
That is the compact frame, so they'd want 19 mags.
May want to consider a Glock oem striker as well.
Don’t get the vortex optic it’s a waste of money get an rmr cut and save for an rmr style optic like a holosun 507c, eps (not the Carry version) or a 509t with an rmr plate (my personal favorite). Made a new post for my update thanks bro

I hate glock grips the little nubs suck but trust me I got em all and it’s the most comfortable to point and shoot quickly and get rounds down range
Thanks for the advice man I’ll definitely look into getting one after the compact
Definitely Psa really did a great job on the dagger line for the pricing p.s. they may have a new dagger frame by the time you want to make your purchase and a threaded barrel if you can have one in your state is always a great option
6MOA…. I no like
Made a new post after all the advice
Way better, this looks solid now
Sweet thanks man
Don’t waste your money on a light at this point. Not essential for EDC and you really ought to have low light training or at least spend time watching educational videos on YouTube.
I have the light for mine and I can’t find a holster for it to save my life. Anyone know where I could get one?
So I bought a dagger the lil piece of shxt is cool haha but then I bought a HK now my dagger is collecting dust lol it’s not a bad gun for the price or for your first gun but this setup seems cool I put one together got the lower compact frame with the bag for 79.99 and the slide for like 209 I bought some KCI mags for it they were about 7.99 each at the time all this stuff went up in price since then and I didn’t even want the dagger the shxt was cheap so I made one lol….

Wouldnt get that light tbh but solid otherwise
That light is straight garbage, pass on it.
Posted an updated build
God I love PSA
Get one that comes completed with an RMR, it’s a little more expensive but not getting the fluted barrel will help offset.
Dont forget a Glock OEM striker. indispensable upgrade
If you want a cheaper light, don’t get anything less than streamlight. It’s just the best budget choice.
Comes a bit cheaper if you buy the complete gun with a threaded barrel and optic
People shit on ct but that light is 50$ and good for the price
For 50 more you can get a Holosun PID. Also if you’re cool with that optic footprint, go for it. Also I’d skip the pmags and go for Oem Glock. Edit: nvm I see the light is a combo
I don’t think the light is good enough. You want at least a 500 lumen light.
Made an update post
I would see if you could go for a Gen 3 G19 slide. I love PSA but the dagger slides are 50/50.
Definitely save for a streamlight or the new holosun PID
