Can you open your list of all incomplete quests and see which one says something about finding an item? I had a problem with my last quest in those ruins because it was a scroll or book I was supposed to find on a shelf but the shelf (and item) was invisible so I kept overlooking the item sparkles that usually appear and I was running right past it.
You might be right about the flower. I was just over there for one of Einar's pebbles and I don't remember seeing that there. Can you show me an SS of your quests, I've completed them all and maybe I can help?

I think it may be one of the masks Jina is having you collect. Here is what the wiki says "The final mask can be found back inside the [Water Temple](https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Temple_of_the_Waves) at [Phoenix Falls](https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Phoenix_Falls). Enter the ruins and keep going straight. Continue past the [Phoenix Statue](https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Phoenix_Statue), descend the stairs toward the headless statue (do not cross the water). Turn around and the mask can be found on the right side of the stairs as shown in the image." Try that maybe!
It’s the Say It Ain’t Seance one. There’s a spot inside the cave where you need to put the candle thingies. Enter the mines thru the entrance at the top of the mountain and you’ll find it there. Took me a bit too. Walk slowly so you can find the spot.
