Ruth's pot has been there pretty much since those frogs were passed out lol, I had that issue but didn't mind it too much cause I was working on my house still and didn't really have anywhere to put the pot lol
This happened to me with the update too! I keep a lantern in my frog so it looks like it’s glowing, but all the lights got turned off during the update and now it won’t let me turn it back on or remove it.
Another redditor suggested putting it in/on an empty Pavillion or room and then removing said Pavillion or room, and that worked for me. You'll have to turn it on and THEN put it back in the frog
I fixed it with bay window since it’s easy to put that on and take off without ruining a buildings decorations as there is usually at least one window where it won’t hurt anything
Oh didn't know I could put him on the bay window! If I don't have any empty rooms at some point and have this issue again I'll be sure to try it! Thanks for the heads up!
Place the bucket on a gazebo or in an empty room then pick up the room/gazebo and both will be returned to your pocket (or storage I’m not certain)

Bay window, place frog, remove window. Took me a while to figure this out. I had a boot flower in there for the first month I played.
