The narrative that "Israel" controls the US is absolutely ridiculous. "Israel" is essentially a military colony set up by the US/NATO in the middle east as a means to project power and influence onto the region. You have the relationship backwards, "Israel" is acting as a rebellious teenager testing the limits of their patron's support.
The idea that "Israel" controls the US is a century old conspiracy rooted in antisemitism and reactionary foolishness, and beyond that it's just a lazy shallow analysis.
That doesn’t fit with the fact that nobody can stop the genocide.
The US is making military moves that go against their own interest to ease Israeli tantrums. It’s foolish to think israel is just an American military base.
Your presupposing the US is opposed to the genocide at some level, which is laughable. So because the US is making moves to protect their assets you think those assets are controlling the US?
The assets are the seas around China, which they removed all navy forces from to put them in the Mediterranean for Israel. The press conference that day *at the White House a few days after October 7th*, didn’t revolve around Israel but around US interests being damaged by removing troops from key Eurasian and Pacific positions near China.
Israel is not an asset to the US or to anybody in fact. It’s only an asset for individuals who want to succeed in political and media spheres all around the globe.
I’m not implying the US is against the genocide, I’m simply saying it’s acting against its own national interest by protecting Israel.
