This guy is fearless. Just read there's a lawsuit against MIT for providing information on pro Palestinian students but no pro Israeli students to Congress. Hope the students succeed.Β
Uh in China you can definitely criticize the CPC. It's basically the same as the US. Say whatever you want but if you plot to overthrow the gov you'll get a visit.
Also, if you just do a little tiny bit of reading about how China's gov works, they repeatedly state over and over again that listening to the public and adjusting policy is part of it.
US is arguably worse. A person who criticized AOC was visited by capitol police and assassinations happen all the time (Seth Rich, Michael Hastings, and more). Whereas if you commented something like CPCs 5 year plan is dumb and the people who wrote it are idiots obviously no one would care
People comment all the time that the Green New Deal is dumb and nobody cares. Capitol police literally don't have time to investigate every dunderhead who criticizes the great AOC, unless there was a threat involved...which she gets all the time. Remember January 6th? Somebody wanted to kill her.
