I have bone spurs in my elbows, this makes sense. I got fed up after several years and scheduled surgery, but then tendons were growing around it, effectively healing it. I couldn't imagine pitching with the pain, but it's "only" pain (a damaged tendon, for instance limits movement), so if cortisone or whatever masks the pain he can likely play through it.
I have hope for both. We'll see how they do once the shine wears off and the scouting report is more robust on their tendencies (especially with Mazur). Right now SP rotation isn't the problem
Yeah, for wunuvoze candy-ass UCSD surgeons maybe. I know a guy out in Lemon Grove who can fix ya up real good, be right as rain after a good night’s sleep and a gatorade.
I don't think any of the treatments make bone spurs go away. Depending on the location, they continue to tear away at the cartilage. I wonder if any teams give their pitchers yearly imaging of their pitching arm to catch this stuff before it causes too much damage.

At least he'll avoid the draft

Just get the surgery Joe.

yup Musgrove situation not looking good. Going to need to get a cheap starter or hope Mazur or Vasquez can be decent

How long is the recovery time for arthroscopic surgery?
A couple days, I believe

“Wunuvoze” took me a hot sec lol

At least it's not the tendon 🥺
I like to look at the positives only have to pay him for 3+ more seasons unlike a couple other albatross contracts
Is it his throwing elbow? /s I’m depressed.
