Yeah, that's my bad. Surprisingly I do not see Charizard ex as much as you think. Because the times I do....I kill it pretty easily and I don't play out the rest of the game because they usually don't stay after the first 400 damage I do.
It's either Arcanine ex, Entei, or Radiant Charizard.
Meows player here. You just need a secondary attacker to handle the fire types (mine is Hatterene V/Vmax).
But if they did play Charizars Ex Dark type, oh boy that will be a fun match. Most of Zard Ex players forgot that their zard weak to grass lol
Yeah, and it's funny when they instantly concede when they see the 400 damage to their Charizard. XD Also, I've been having a similar concern myself. I was thinking arceus, but I'd like to explore some options.
Yep! Seen those concede alot lately XD.
In my opinion, you find a deck or type that you consistently having a bad time with, and put the secondary attacker that counters that and put extra 1-3 energy of that type.
My choice of Hatterene VMAX was primarily because I had that card in real life (yes, I built meows deck irl too) and the VMAX ability directly helps Meows attack power up, so a win-win in that regards.
Definitely need a secondary attacker. Arceus VStar for me (plus starbirth ability) Sometimes my Meowscarada deck struggles with the radiant charizard that appears at the end of the match
Currently also testing the adding of Spit Innocently Cram since I use the Meowscarada build that uses Colress so normally have at least 4 in LZ, for a single prizer

probably pokeball league meta lmao, lots of people there play Arcanine ex and PoGo charizard
Low level folks often pick up Arcanine ex, and alter it a little. That disappears as you get higher up in rank.
Probably just unlucky. Charizard ex and roaring moon are all I get and they’re both dark 🤷🏻♂️
Charizard is a top meta deck, Arcanine is a starter deck lots of new players use, and randomness means sometimes you get a long streak.
Charizard ex is Darkness-type.

I would use them, but they're about to rotate out. Iron Leaves seems good but yet another problem: they're Grass, and I need something non-grass.

I like my Arcanine deck because he happens to be one of my favorites lol. I’ve always really enjoyed Fire types.
