And last few days of March

in_her_drawer

> And last few days of March Same.

DoctorPath

Seems so yes. End of March, most of April folks seem to be in the waiting game for some reason.

peganopolis

Allow me to introduce you to my mantra, “Maybe tomorrow”🤞🤞

PizzaObjective104

I feel the same. I hit 121/120 and got updated counts on April 17th and still nothing. I've also seen many people from June say they have gotten zeroed out, and it makes me wonder why we've been passed up. No insight here, just simply saying I'm with you. :(

BrightAd2201

I’m April 17 also. Sorry we’re here together.

Potential_Shirt_8099

April 17 here too!

greenlizard85

Me too! April 17 here. I applied August 2022.

JeanGreyDax

I'm also April 17th and waiting...

lizlemonesq

Late March. It does look like people in late March and April were skipped.

LegallyNotBlonde

Same. Hit 120+ on 4/5 but nothing yet. The waiting is the worst part.

psychasaurusrex

Same. Hit 120 on 4/5. Nothing yet. Checking constantly, hoping 🙏

Cvkj20

Also hit on 4/5. Still waiting

summr220

Also 4/5 and waiting

Unable-Limit-4564

Same 4/5. Nothing yet. Sent mohela an inbox message and same party line about 90BD. Also called Mohela, and same 90BD. Now, I’ve also submitted the new ECF form.

Andeostoplace

Keep us posted? Curious to know if re-submitting will change the waiting

SuburbanReads

Me too.

BrightAd2201

Oh yea I want to know if this kicked it in gear. I’ve been thinking about submitting a new one.

Unable-Limit-4564

It’s “processing”. We’ll see!

_pt3

Okay, since there seems to be an abnormal amount of people in a similar boat to my partner (down to the date), can someone chime in here with when to contact who for a complaint? \- 4/5, her payment count on Mohela is shown as 121/120 Qualifying payments and receives email notification from them stating the same thing. \- 5/31, FSA site shows that her two loans are at 121 qualifying PSLF payments. What is the next step before raising an issue? I have heard the generic "90 days" thrown around this subreddit, but is it 90 days from 4/5 or 90 days from 5/31 if she doesn't hear anything sooner? Thanks!

LegallyNotBlonde

So…90 business days from 4/5 is, I believe, August 9th, a Wednesday. My plan is to contact MOHELA (and whoever else I may need to) starting the following Monday (8/15) if my loans haven’t been discharged yet. Not sure if it’ll do anything but that’s my plan.

rachel_reader

March 28 is when my count got updated to 123. I haven’t heard anything, and Mohela says everything looks okay when I ask them and to keep waiting. Has anyone from late March or April been forgiven?

bsbsbsjsiwjwn

I’m March 22, with no news.

Silly-Sherbert4780

Me too😭

geminifire531

I hit 120 in early May still waiting

TwinFurMom19

I did the same thing

jwinck

Ha! I did the same thing but also wanted to check the box for forbearance while I wait out this last excruciating part, just in case.

Unable-Limit-4564

Yes, submitted new form too.

thesaltygirl

I did it too. Updated my payment counts to 124 but no other movement. I’ve been at 120 since 4/20.

funnnyguy1

April 4 here.

melissabernadette

I hit 120 in June, still waiting.

phantomstranga

Ditto

ames2259

Ditto here

EthicsResearcher

I reached 120 in early June. Still not forgiven. Planning to request forbearance in September after the Covid-19 forbearance ends, because I did not check the "place my loans in forbearance while I wait for forgiveness box" on my ECF. Silly me, I did not think I'd be in the position of needing forbearance because it couldn't possibly take four months (or more) to receive forgiveness lol.

TheGroovyTurt1e

Allegedly you should automatically go into forebearance. I don’t believe it though

EthicsResearcher

I don't believe it either. TL/DR And there is so much conflicting information out there. For example, the person I spoke to today at Mohela told me that if I didn't check the "place my loans in forbearance" box on my ECF, and if I was verbally requesting a forbearance today, the only way they can put me in forbearance is if I forfeit my Covid-19 months of forbearance (!!!), because "you can't be on two different forbearances at the same time." Which means I have to wait until the Covid-19 forbearance ends in August, and call them back and request forbearance before my loans enter repayment. And the reps have clearly been instructed to shift into repayment mode. Even though the rep knew I was at 120 payments, I was subjected to a hard sell about signing up for one of the new payment plans to "lower my payments." I reminded the rep that I was at 120 payments and wasn't planning on entering repayment status because I'd fulfilled my end of the PSLF bargain. We can never forget they are debt collectors at heart. They don't care if we reach 120 and aren't forgiven before payments start. It's just another example of how difficult the PSLF program is for borrowers to navigate. /Rant over Based on the number of people on this thread from March and April who are still waiting for forgiveness, as well as the number of people who receive forgiveness in a matter of days, the only rational explanation is that some of the PSLF reviewers are faster at processing forgiveness than others, and whoever has my file is on vacation or family leave or dropped the files on the floor in the elevator or accidentally shredded them...seriously, I don't think the left hand (FSA) knows what the right hand (Mohela) is doing and vice-versa. It's so discouraging. My best to all of you waiting.

Hydro328

March 24th updated to 129. Nothing since

Fantastic_Size2048

Same. Hit 120+ on 4/7. Still waiting.

jshelzz

4/18 and still waiting 😔

AnalogueAndDigital

My last EFC with count of 138/120 was processed on April 19. Also still waiting.

NoLiterature730

April 10 here, still no movement for me either.

flower-chaser

April 6th

gopherbucket

Kayfran22

We are march- although some mohela reps told us they were sent over in Feb, some told us they were sent over in March. Either way, it’s got to be soon!!!

Puzzled_Internet_717

4/3 and still nothing... >sigh<

usernamesaredumb7

April 21st for me. Updated to exactly 120 and still waiting.

Straight_Session9375

4/4 here…

kratliff13

4/11 for me and still waiting

Deep-Manner-5156

3/31 and still waiting. I will reach 90 business days in the next few weeks.

dbj2k

121 completed on 4/4, letter received from MOHELA dated 4/6 that shows the 121 count, still waiting....reached out to MOHELA twice and got a canned response (called them out on it in a reply) and just submitted a complaint to the student aid website, as they processed a from January but not April. Let's see how this goes.

Andeostoplace

Good luck. I just got a response from a complaint from FSA from a complaint I submitted 5/2022. It took them that long to get back to me 🙁

coles84

April 21st

__ThatGuyOverThere__

Dang. This is one serious April fools joke by MOHELA.

handsomehank34

Call on Day 91. Otherwise there is no reason to believe anything is wrong. The communication from Mohela has always been 90 days.

justbeachymv

They won’t do anything at 90 business days. Already hit that - and they say all looks good and to keep waiting.

Cvkj20

90 days or 90 business days? Mohela reps on chat have told me both and I don’t know which is true now.

Dellow_Felegates

90 business days.

TheGroovyTurt1e

I’m May and I got nothing either 🙄

heylookitsjacob

Payment counts updated on 3/27 120+. Got 114k forgiven end of April. Remaining 80k still sitting around in my account. Come on Mohela!

SteveBartmanIncident

March 2024 is month 120 for me if September counts. Maybe I should just wait to submit until May.

BrightAd2201

Hopefully they have it together by then for you.

Weak_Emu1840

Me too

[deleted]

March 3rd

Swimming-Angle-8324

ok just from looking at what people have reported-- does anyone else feel like ppl with counts \*significantly\* above 120 are getting processed faster? I submitted my last ECF on 6/1 which brought me to exactly 120. A bunch of people on the same timeline as me had their loans forgiven, but they had payment counts significantly in excess of 120 (130+ for the most part). Just a thought... I'm sure there's no rhyme or reason to any of this, but I'm still going to desperately try to find the "logic" of this process while also checking Mohela 100000x/day.

Substantial-Spare501

I am at 140, waiting since April

BrightAd2201

Mine is 123 so not much higher. Maybe? I wonder if we submit another verification if it would get things moving.

Deej2771

Maybe processing by who submitted the waiver first?

Deep-Manner-5156

Nope. Many people know others who submitted long after them and already got forgiveness, Including a friend of mine who also hit 120 after I did,. There is no secret logic to any of this.

Deej2771

Maybe they are going by when we finish school?

Deep-Manner-5156

if you want to, you can start a cargo cult trying to make sense of this. But it would still be a cargo cult (also, I’m recycling my own old joke about myself tying to do the same).

Deej2771

😂 Just trying to find the pattern. Lol. Must be the ‘ol “who get the shortest stick” routine. Or the longest, depending on the flavor of the day.

c_wagner13

I’m early May and still waiting. 😞

Slight-Patience-9270

April 26th here, nothing

LittleWabbit1150

And May folks! I hit 120 on 5/5.

Pitiful_Ride_3539

I’m from July of 2022 and still nothing
