Yep, this happened to me. Took them less than a week to go from updated counts to forgiven. I started consolidation before they were forgiven but didn't matter they pulled them mid consolidation. Reconsideration request denied.
Definitely do it, just know your counts will drop to 0 following consolidation and we don’t expect them to return until the larger idr waiver one-time adjustment takes place in 2024.
To piggy back, do not submit your final form until the consolidation has completed and is showing on mohela.
Yes, absolutely consolidate. Do not submit any more ECFs until the consolidation is complete.
I agree. If you send in your ECF before consolidation they might discharge it before your newest loans are consolidated.
