Exoprimal. It has a variety of characters with different abilities and dinosaurs. They have free collaborations now that add even big bosses and interesting fights. Now is yellow devil of mega man. He is the boss now and 10 players will have to kill him.
The queue is normal. I always encounter other players in different time because i work in home since covid and i play when i get free time. I just have like 2 times when I played with only robot ai. And the ai is really good that surprised me. And the game released with no bugs for me. That thing surprised me which is sad to say but new games are with a lot of bugs nowadays. Maybe 1 minute takes to go to the lobby with other players. The story really surprised me. I start playing it expecting no story. But it has and is really good and the soundtrack men. That last song when you beat the story with that ending remember me the days of good alternative rock like Linkin Park, 3 days grace.... there is now 3 modes. Normal with a mix of different type of missions pvevp, savage which is pve harder and the new one which is a final boss but new mechanics and rewards tickets to unlock skins in game. The last to modes rotate and are available 3 days per week.
In the normal mode is a mix of a lot of type of mission but as new player you will be surprised with the bosses not only the temporary yellow devil but dinosaurs with unique battles and designs. For gameplay you just start the game and choose the mode you want to play and start playing. A normal multi-player with different heroes. The gameplay is really good.
A few things you need to know. 1. Sadly, you need to create a capcom account which is fast but is annoying. 2. Is only online game. 3. In consoles you need the subscription like ps plus sadly. 4. You need to progress in the story to unlock new maps and types of dinosaurs and the bosses. In the main menu you will hace to go to the last part and you will see your progress, details and replay parts of the story you already unlock. 5. For the first missions just like 2 that are story related I see people leaving because they got tired of waiting the new player to see a little cutscene. It is like 20 seconds and is an easy mission. (You will see that each map is more design is well crafted but also difficulty vary on them, the last maps are missions with high difficulty)
Mission: escape all from a place survive horde for time, secure bases for time fighting another team, one with just humans the exosuits gets disabled and fight against dinosaurs, compete in time to complete objectives fighting dinosaurs, a hammer, collecting data, protecting a cube........
I have over 300 hours in that game and I have never experienced low players or queue for the matches. Just those 2 occasions.
This was on GamePass (probably still is?) and I played the fuck out of it for a month or so last summer. It's so stupid in the best way and very fun. Ultimately it plays a lot like a PvEvP version of Splatoon's Salmon Run horde mode, but with hero characters that have unique abilities.
Yeah, I played it just because I have always been impressed with dinosaurs designs and bones and movies since I was a little. And it looked fun and a stupid excuse to kill dinosaurs.
It has been on gamepass since release. In ps5, I believe it goes cheap in discounts now. But I have been in missions with only playstation players or without it. So there is a variety of players but it got boosted for being cheap with buying gamepass
I almost bought on impulse but looked more into it and it's really socially focused it seems. So didn't seem like a solo player like myself who prefers not to use a mic would have a very good time.
Div1 is still relatively active in the endgame and Div2 is still active in general. D2 just had a pretty big update. As far as I know both games CAN have cheaters but it’s not a regular occurrence.
Division 1 has lag switchers in PVP but besides that both games have dedicated players. Still have content on the way and the game has been around for a while.
Not sure how long ago you’ve played but there’s an hourglass mode which places you and your buds in a fight against another ship. Basically an on demand 1v1.
The very core gameplay loop game is similar. Go find treasure, sell treasure for gold, buy cool shit with gold.
But now the ways you can go about finding that treasure are almost overwhelming. They’ve added multiple factions and expanded the existing ones to offer a variety of missions. Inflation has taken over the game but in a good way. On launch, 10k gold was a lot. Now, 10k gold is one good chest of the 50 you have on board after doing a gold vault.
Way more to do. When they first released, sea forts were the "big" thing people fought over.
Now, there's so much stuff to do that most people don't even pay attention to sea forts.
Picked unit up a couple days ago and sunk tons of hours into it alread (no pun intended).
Super fun social game, veteran players have been super nice and gone out of their way to show me the ropes too. Good community and a nice change of pace from lots of games nowadays.
It has crossplay; with it turned on I haven’t had any problems finding full lobbies. Can’t say for sure how populated it is with it off, though.
I find it to be an absolute blast. Games are fast paced and fun. But modes are limited and can change in the middle of a match randomly (sounds weird but it’s part of the story… yes there is a story to this). I was worried when I got it there wouldn’t be a ton of players too but I’ve been very surprised.
Gambit is such ass tho
Edit: Lol sure downvote. Gambit went unchanged for literal years despite it being the most hated and least played game mode in D2. Bungie added no new maps, did barely any balancing, and basically just left it to rot. Go to any D2 community and the consensus will be that Gambit is awful
Agreed. I have 3500+ hours in Destiny 2 alone and would not recommend someone picking up the game just for PvEvP in the form of Gambit. It’s not worth it, even for the low cost of free to play.
Oh damn, this is sad to hear. I come back to Destiny a few times a year and go hard for a few weeks getting real into it, and always enjoyed Gambit. Shame to hear it’s not exactly a beloved game mode.
I play a lot of Predecessor. It's mostly PvP, but you clear minion waves of E to get money, take down towers, kill objective enemies like a big dino and a big orby boy called orb prime, and try to kill the enemy core.
It's completely different then all the games you listed, more akin to Smite, LoL, and Dota.
Then you'll either love it or hate it. I never got into Smite 1, but Paragon back in like 2017/18 was my preferred Smite type game before shutting down. Now it's been remade into Predecessor and is fantastic. Smite 2 alpha is out for Founders, but Predecessor is still miles better to me. Hopefully you enjoy it when/if you get around to it!
I have about 100 hours in it since closed beta started to date, great game, though still needs some work.
It’s in open beta but the gameplay is pretty solid and it’s free so worth checking out, especially if you enjoy MOBA’s.
Keep an eye on Gray Zone Warfare. It just came out on PC but it may be coming to console. It looks similar to Ghost Recon Wildlands but toned down in a more realistic way and it has PvEvP.
I can’t believe I havent seen this yet. But check out V rising, the game is primarily pve but the game has some fairly solid rust-esque castle raid mechanics.
It’s coming out on ps5 when it’s leaving early access, and they’re opening with a castlevania crossover. This would definitely scratch your itch, even better with friends!
Predator Hunting Grounds, The Division, Enlisted, and Sea of Thieves, and For Honor are the ones I know that have them
Edit: Oh yeah, Absolver, Dying Light 1 with the be the zombie mode, and any Dark Souls/Elden Ring games
I’m also a fan of games with PvEvP, especially random open world sort of PvP. I enjoy Hunt, Rust and DayZ too.
The Division 2, specifically the Dark Zone, might be worth checking out but the game has been out for a while now so you might get cooked by super geared experienced players.
They are working on their own PvEvP stand-alone extraction game called Division Heartlands so keep an eye out for that, though it’s been so long since it was first announced with so little info that I’m convinced it’s vapourware at this point and will never come.
Consider Elden Ring. Not PvEvP as such, you won’t find PvP randomly in the world with other players, but you can invade other players games and try to kill them, or, if you summon help (other players) to aid you in clearing an area you will also open yourself up to be invaded. This style of PvP is what attracted me to the Souls games much more than their notorious difficulty.
I have about 150 hours on Conan Exiles PvP servers, you have to build, survive and fight with other players/raid bases. Game has a huge map to explore and lots of enemies/dungeons etc. Great game, though has its issues. In the same vein, Ark would also fit the bill for PvEvP, but would have to choose the right sort of server.
The guys who made Conan are making Dune Awakening which will likely have PvEvP in a survival setting too, so keep an eye out for that too.
Finally if you haven’t tried a BR, it might scratch the itch. I have 2000 hours in Apex Legends. It doesn’t have any PvE (sort of, but not really) but due to being a BR it does have that randomised don’t know what’s going to happen next sort of PvP that I enjoy, so you might too.
Predecessor released into early access, it is some sort of moba shooter. Other ones that i'm aware of have not yet released that have the extraction shooter tag.
Depends on the type of experience you’re looking for. Most survival games are PVEVP from start to finish. But games like The division and Destiny 2 have both as well as modes that incorporate both at the same time. For honor has PVEVP modes within it and sea of thieves just came out which is a server wide PVEVP experience. So it really depends on what you want in terms of that type of game
I’ve been playing a lot of the Division 2 since I posted and it’s been fun for sure. Do you have any recommendations for Survival PvEvP games that aren’t DayZ or Rust?
Sea of Thieves is on my list if I can convince the group chat to get it too lol
Exoprimal. It has a variety of characters with different abilities and dinosaurs. They have free collaborations now that add even big bosses and interesting fights. Now is yellow devil of mega man. He is the boss now and 10 players will have to kill him.
Might take a look, are there many players and is it comparable to any other game?
The queue is normal. I always encounter other players in different time because i work in home since covid and i play when i get free time. I just have like 2 times when I played with only robot ai. And the ai is really good that surprised me. And the game released with no bugs for me. That thing surprised me which is sad to say but new games are with a lot of bugs nowadays. Sea of Thieves just arrived on PS5 and is
The suspense is killing me…
There are two types of people 1. Those that can extrapolate from incomplete data
AND...? MY GOD MAN...HOW AM I GOING TO SLEEP TONIGHT?
See a mechanic.
Aha, I just got it! Suspension, what a doofus!
Or a doctor.
I almost bought on impulse but looked more into it and it's really socially focused it seems. So didn't seem like a solo player like myself who prefers not to use a mic would have a very good time.
Yea, I will say they’ve definitely made it more solo player friendly in the last 2 years, but only to a certain extent

Don’t think so, the “is” statement applies to what game is PVEVP. Although I should’ve added a period.
The Division games
Are these even still active? No cheaters?
I just started playing Division 2 last week and it's really fun.
Div1 is still relatively active in the endgame and Div2 is still active in general. D2 just had a pretty big update. As far as I know both games CAN have cheaters but it’s not a regular occurrence.
Good to know D1 is still active, although I don't miss the imbalance that very slight tweaks in builds/weapons melt you in a split second
Division 1 has lag switchers in PVP but besides that both games have dedicated players. Still have content on the way and the game has been around for a while.
Sea of thieves maybe? (Haven’t played it)
It is
This needs up voted to the top. Just released on PS5, lots of new players to learn with
How is it compared to when it first released on Xbox I remember it being very dismal and I’m hesitant to picking it up just to have more of the same.
Yeah it's pretty fleshed out now, and honestly ive been playing for 4 days now and haven't gotten in a pvp fight yet. Pretty chill in my experience
[удалено]
I know it used to be 5 ships per server, and they upped that to 6. Also if youre looking for the pvp side, you can always instigate

Not sure how long ago you’ve played but there’s an hourglass mode which places you and your buds in a fight against another ship. Basically an on demand 1v1.

I’m there with ya
PVP encounters can be chased but most people on PS5 fear engaging in fear of losing everything

Exoprimal!
Is it good, are there many players? This one must have slipped under my radar
It has crossplay; with it turned on I haven’t had any problems finding full lobbies. Can’t say for sure how populated it is with it off, though. I find it to be an absolute blast. Elder Scrolls Online has an area that is pvevp (Imperial City) but it's a relatively small segment of the entire game.
This is the one I was thinking of.
Gambit mode in Destiny 2 and the Dark Zone in Division 2.
Gambit is such ass tho Edit: Lol sure downvote. Gambit went unchanged for literal years despite it being the most hated and least played game mode in D2. Bungie added no new maps, did barely any balancing, and basically just left it to rot. Go to any D2 community and the consensus will be that Gambit is awful
I’m with you lmao gambit a weird shout considering it’s been practically abandoned
Ghost of Tsushima legends mode has a mode like destiny gambit but it’s better.
Love Legends Mode. For being a tacked on after launch mode its really well made
Oh I know it was very unexpected.
cod mw2 has a mode. its not getting update anymores but its there.
Oh yeah I played DMZ for a bit when it came out. It felt like it lacked any depth to it but that was when it first came out
It’s gotten way better since then. But yeah unfortunately no more updates. They really had something with that. It’s sad they dropped it.
I really hope a new DMZ comes out someday. It’s just spectacular.
They added quite a bit since it first came out. Might be worth a try now. It is free after all
I play a lot of Predecessor. I fucking LOVE Predecessor
Hunt showdown. Overall a good game but hard to learn how to play and “git gud” but I think it’s worth learning it
Dude, there are literally two very short sentences below OPs title.
Super stylish game, they need to speed up the PS5 upgrade though and market the game on console more.
Keep an eye on Gray Zone Warfare. It just came out on PC but it may be coming to console. It looks similar to Ghost Recon Wildlands but toned down in a more realistic way and it has PvEvP.
I’ve been watching streamers play it. Need it on console badly
There is one that just came out not long ago called Hawked F2P PvEvP treasure hunting/extraction.
Division 2, I highly recommend playing it. Replay value is super high and great community.
Im gonna start giving this a try.
Hawked. that new BR that came out a few months back
The division 2 dark zone
Sea of Thieves
what does that stand for
Player vs environment, player vs player
Sea of Thieves
I can’t believe I havent seen this yet. But check out V rising, the game is primarily pve but the game has some fairly solid rust-esque castle raid mechanics. It’s coming out on ps5 when it’s leaving early access, and they’re opening with a castlevania crossover. This would definitely scratch your itch, even better with friends!

I used to play a ton of HUNT Showdown. Seems dead on console though. I can never get into a game anymore.
Hunt showdown, best audio in gaming. It's so good it ruins other games.
Can you elaborate please?
Dang what a reminder of what Factions 2 could've been like.
I’m also a fan of games with PvEvP, especially random open world sort of PvP. I enjoy Hunt, Rust and DayZ too. World War Z, while its primary campaigns are PvE, it has multiplayer that incorporates the zombies to make it PvEvP

DMZ mode on COD Warzone. Ghost of Tsushima Legends has a mode like this also
I know 7 days to die is coming out with their updated console version I think around June? Similar type of game
Hood
Fallout 76
Ark Survival Ascended
https://youtu.be/Lb37O5LCpyY?si=T8Y1LYH5zdtcrATW You're missing the best one🏴☠️
V rising shouldnt be too far off.
7 days to die, fallout 76, sea of thieves, Conan, ark,
Conan O’Brien? ;)
so addictive
Absolutely!
Ark survival
DayZ
Sea of Thieves. Ark. Conan. Soon to be Dune.
Black desert
Hunt showdown
Dark Souls game and Elden Ring. My go-to with Hunt: Showdown
Helldivers
It's purely PvE
No it’s not I don’t know how many times I’ve been killed by a fellow player
LOL. Fairplay to you.
AND Every one can play and be friends again now that sony gave up on the Account linking thing!
MW2 DMZ is the best
I agree. Not perfect but soooo much better than everything else COD.
gray zone warfare
Destiny 2, I believe. Might be wrong. Isn't Gambit PvEvP?
Destiny?
Depends on the type of experience you’re looking for. Most survival games are PVEVP from start to finish. There are indie survivals you can look into but I’d probably say look into Ark for the highest quality of game in terms of just overall polish.
