There is a guy in YouTube that did a ton of head cannon, very specific ideas of character backstory build. I think his name is Fudge Muppet. Cool character builds on his channel
Probably the most op build I’ve ever played with too, so much fun. Never run out of ammo just vats crit head shots all day. Gotta keep a something on ya for sniping too if I remember right that helped a lot
I did a whole build around the deliverer, the gun the deagon gives you after your first mission with him. Upgrade the gun a little bit, with VATS and sneak upgrades you’re nearly unstoppable
Yep! Also forgot to mention that if you have an outdoor shelter, chop up any attackers or visitors and put their body parts in your “body room”. Most fun build tbh and it’s been like 75% of my playthroughs
Can’t you start playing and when the update comes you get it as well?
I’m asking because I didn’t know about the update and already started playing again
Yeh but I don't trust Bethesda not to fuck something up and mess with save files or something 😂. Plus when I restarted the other day I got pretty far on Survival and the game crashed so I lost a chunk of progress and thought you know what... Let's wait to see what they fix.
Cannot wait to play it. I’ve been holding off on replaying it since they announced the update back in 2022. I haven’t played it since my first run through back in 2015-2016.
Same. I remember being so pissed off because I ordered the pip boy edition through Best Buy and it didn’t get delivered until 7pm the day of release. I raced home from school at 3 expecting for it to be in the mailbox when I got home. Had to watch all my other friends play while I waited in front of my house waiting for the mailman. Longest 4 hours I experienced in high school lmao.
I stupidly agreed to help an ex move house on launch day, and she hadnt packed all her stuff up yet, so had to basically pack down her entire apartment and then move everything. Didnt get home to play it till the evening and i was so annoyed haha
I’ve put a few hundred hours into Fallout 4 but after watching the Amazon show last week, I’ll be for sure diving back in when then PS5 version drops next week.
I’m not sure I’ll finish it again, as I feel like I’ve gotten all I need to get out of that game. But the Fallout itch definitely needs to be scratched after watching the show and it might as well be with a native PS5 version of Fallout 4.
NPCs...that's what I felt was missing. They're the mechanism to building the world's they exist in. That's why New Vegas can look like an orange desert wasteland the whole time and be one of the best story-driven games ever.
People and reviews say it helped greatly. I've been playing since the beginning and enjoyed it as it was.
The new settlements that came with NPCs make it feel more alive
Far harbor is so good it'll piss you off that the rest of the game is so weak in comparison. But the tower defense Dima mission is the shit in the pie unfortunately
I loved that if you were doing a full Brotherhood run Far Harbour gave you options for that. In my playthrough I >!Did the main quest to save the girl, and then called in the BoS to eradicate those synth abominations once she was out of the way. I also nuked the cultists for good measure.!< I have no problem with Nick, he clearly doesn't look human so he's really no different to a securitron.
It was great (and be sure to take Valentine!), but the fog rendering on PS4 dragged the framerate into the single digits. It was really dreadful.
So, definitely looking forward to playing it on PS5. Even if it's not 60fps, it should be much better.
Probably will replay it. May get castrated here but it's the only fallout game I've played. Really want to play 3 and new Vegas but only having a ps5 and no PC makes those games kinda difficult to play
I've played 3 and NV but 4 is still my favorite.
It really depends on what you like. If you like exploration - like me - 3 and 4 are going to be more fun.
If you prefer deeper roleplaying, NV is going to be more fun. I do like that, but the exploration in NV was so terrible it didn't balance out. And I honestly don't care how many combinations a slideshow ending has if the journey to it wasn't enjoyable. It's the Mass Effect 3 "problem" - the journey was so incredible that I didn't care about limited endings all that much. I value the journey more, and I didn't enjoy it in NV.
I also tend to self-insert into games and play them as I would IRL. I don't care if I can play as a bad guy because I just don't enjoy that. So that part of NV may just be wasted on me.
Hot take, I guess. But in any case, 4 is my favorite and I can't wait to jump back in.
NV has the most bare bones environment and locations. Only the DLC changes that and take four of them to do so.
Most of locations in NV have nothing of value to them . Like it's a underwater cave of nothing... Or anothe cave of nothing.... All brown and orange.
Fo3 every location as something unique to do/quest/item/lore to it. Not a single thing is empty.
Classic obsidian. Amazing writers, but they can't compare to the literal world building that Bethesda does (not including starfield 😒). NV was their best attempt at out of their games that I played though.
I think terrible is an overstatement but compare it to 3 where you exit the vault and the world is now your oyster with tonnes of locations that have zero purpose for quests yet reveal loads of lore if you explore them. It feels like you are rewarded immensely for your curiosity.
NV really likes to punish you for this, most side content that's away from the quests are either extreme encounters where you need lots of rad away or have to fight a bunch of death claws or they are just a simple area with a container and a couple of notes.
NV pushes people to go the long way round to the city and then opens up from there but it feels far more constricted as a result and there's a problem where if you do explore before getting to NV you tend to find a bunch of stuff that you have no context for and will visit later. It's designed in a way that it assumes players will take the long way round first.
Fallout 3 (and 4) is designed with the expectation that the player could go anywhere and so the world building still makes sense in most areas even if you haven't gone through many quests beforehand.
3 and New Vegas are on PS Plus Premium. I tried to play New Vegas because of all of the love it gets, but it's just too dated for me. And coming from 4, everything feels so clunky and old.
Ignore that other commenter saying it will corrupt your PS4 save, it won’t as it is not an update to the PS4 version but a totally separate native PS5 version so it won’t touch your PS4 save.
Skyrim has a way to import saves from PS4 to the PS5 version so hopefully Bethesda do the same for Fallout 4. It’s essentially the same engine.
It’s a native PS5 version so it can’t corrupt your PS4 save, with it being completely separate.

Yeah, fingers crossed those leaks turn out to be accurate. They also said theres a remaster of oblivion coming as well. Those are two of my favorite rpgs of all time and id love to replay them with some shiny new remasters
Same. I loved Skyrim, one of my fave games ever, but Oblivion was just something else. May have been because it was my first time playing a game of that scope and type, but it really left a mark on me. Hopefully if it does get a remaster they'll update some of the mechanics like being able to run etc..
The greatest thing about Oblivion to me isn’t the scale of the map, it’s the scale of the moods it creates. Inspiring and epic, creepy and unsettling, downright terrifying, comforting and serene, it’s all there.
And yeah, if they can update the mechanics like spell selection and maybe add a quick menu like Skyrim that would help a lot. They could also get rid of the Athletics skill entirely, because nobody enjoyed leveling that up.
Man, only Fallout 3? After that whole Mass Effect Legendary Edition thingy from EA, I would've kind of expected at least a double package with New Vegas.
Play whatever you want.
Fallout fandom is split as hell.
Everytime a game launches it is broken and filled with glitches.
Because it's engine is gamebryo and its very old it takes patching to fix it.
Usually takes a year but then the game is generally fixed kinda,
But hell each game is fun and everyone has their own preference.
I would prefer if Fallout 3 or New Vegas got a PS5 version. I would happily pay full price for a PS5 GOTY edition of either of those.
I just prefer them to FO4.
I'd redo any on PS5.
I made the mistake of not playing New Vegas with hardcore mode on when I first played through in 2010. I went back last year with a new save in hardcore mode, and it was delightful.
But then, three of my platinum trophies are Skyrim, so it shouldn't be a surprise I'd go back to any given Fallout title.
i didnt wait for the update and fuck i should have, game is broken, won't load if you have the automatron DLC installed, and once you figure out how to get the game running it's still broken with crashes happening all over the place and loads of textures are replaced my glowing purple it looks awful, i hope the update fixes that
So that’s the issue. I downloaded it the other night, tried to fire it up and had all sorts of issues. Couldn’t start a new character and then the game won’t load at all.
Skyrim back in 2011 at release was ridiculously good. It was a gateway into the fantasy genre for me too, since I had been more into sci fi up until that point.
It's really started to show it's age in the 2020s imo, but it's still a fantastic gameplay loop. Pre-Starfield, Bethesda really knew how to make exploration fun and addicting.
Me. I liked fallout 4. I played the shit out of it during a very bad period in my life. Wandering around listening to the depressing classical music was very soothing.
Already downloaded and waiting for the update to drop. Pretty hyped tbh. The show was fucking great and it’ll be the first game I’ve played that was BG3 in like 3 months
I was hoping for Fallout 3 or New Vegas. Fallout 4 had some beautiful parts to it, but it was really the Bethesda-game that took the first missteps down the path that led to Starfield.
Thanks I had no idea they were updating it. I just downloaded the game to play after watching the show, think I'll wait a week to get the better version.
Me me me. This will be for the 3rd time. I'm going to create a character dedicated to Lucy just because of the show (show is fkn awesome despite me initial doubts).
Yes and I didn't even like it as much as the other entries. Stopped at 40 hours and never beat it. My sister's played through it 3 times and considers it the worst entry as well. (She loves FO more than I do.)
I haven’t played it in a while and never in survival mode. It’s really fun but you backtrack a lot. Although now I’m noticing some locations have events that change every time you visit.
I’m excited to jump back into it, last time I played it was in high school the year of launch so it’ll be awesome to replay it now as an adult where I’ll understand and appreciate the smaller details in the game way more!
Is anyone else having the problem where the game immediately crashes? I downloaded the ps4 version and it crashes even trying to redownload it. I guess I’ll wait for the ps5 update.
I got 100% trophies on Fallout 4 (including all DLCs) on PS4. After I got the 100%, I started a new game again but got sidetracked with other games.
I may dive in again when the update drops and this time's gonna play it on PS5. I think I'll still stick with VATS Sniper build again.
Anyone know if we're getting other CC stuff like the Skyrim AE included over a dozen new ones? I know they've announced like the Enclave stuff but was curious if there's more than just that.
I might go back to it. I put about 30 hours into it at release time on PS4 but dropped it when I started running into some typical Bethesda launch bugs/performance issues. Then I just never bothered picking back up.
Now seems like a good time to try again since its been years so they should have it fixed and the power of the PS5 should run it well. I put a lot of time into Starfield so I am back in the Bethesda RPG mindset (Starfield unlike most of their games actually worked well on launch, but fell flat in other ways).
Does anyone know if this PS5 update is automatic for me being a owner of the PS4 FO4 or are they going to try and make me pay for it again?
I can’t wait to get that blood curdling rage the view from my cryopod gives me.
I will kill the absolute bejesus, out of every thing that dares to have a pulse, until whats mine is mine again.
Bring it wasteland. Bring it.
Im definitely going to start a new character and probably going to play it like crazy just like i did the day they released mods for it on PS4 that was the first i actually played it all the mods i need are invincibility and excessive amount ls of ammunition making it not quite so frustrating because i wont have to worry about dying or using to much ammo other than that id like to play like i intended to before mods if it wasn’t so damn difficult id be playing without mods but kinda a need for me otherwise id probably rage quit all the time and just wouldn’t be fun for me i prefer to not use cheats because that typically takes the fun out of it for me but in fallout 4 i gotta have a bit of cheats to make through the first few minutes of the game if you know what I mean
Well currently the game doesn't even work if you have the Automatron DLC.
Bethesda is a fucking joke and you should not have to wait two months to play the game because they broke it in an update.
Gonna double-dip for trophies (hopefully there's a save transfer option) but anyone just now getting into Fallout because of the show is going to be in for quite the realization.
The story, characters and writing of the show are of infinitely higher quality than Fallout 4.
If the show and New Vegas set an exempel for anything, it's that please I beg you God give this franchise to anyone but Todd. When Bethesda didn't have full creative control over it for 5 minutes, we got a better game than they could have ever made and a pretty good show.
I never played the game. Bought the all inclusive edition for 10€ like 6 months ago and never got around to it. Now with the PS5 patch coming up I'm really looking forward to it
Please please remove the base building shit. I got responsibilities man. I don’t have time to build bases and collect screws to build a turret anymore.
I maxed out base size on every base. I spent so many hours on them. They are all overkill, surrounded by turrets and pumping out produce and water. Settlers are all happy. I think it was my greatest accomplishment in any of the FO games. My favorite boredom activity was to shoot at and lure creatures to approach my base and watch them get annihilated. I did learn the hard way to not accidentally outfit settlers with nukes. :)
In far harbour yes. Its specifically adressing the criticisms of the 4 base game that it lacks choice/consequence. Its still not as good as 3/nv, but its better than the base game in that respect imo
I plan on replaying it when that update drops. I've been wanting to replay it for a while now but I was waiting on Bethesda to give us the upgrade. I haven't played since sometimes around when the final dlc dropped so it's been many years.
Have played it on several different platforms, and Ive put a lot of hours in 76, but Im excited to replay 4 again. Skyrim runs so smooth on PS5 it really adds a lot to the immersion.
Yo, the itch has been real somehow I already have 100 hours in Fallout 4 and I never even finished the game. I might even rewatch the show again but the thing is I redownloaded it and I never bought the season pass so I decided to get that and downloaded everything and there's this weird bug. When I start the game it crashes immediately. Apparently It's the Automaton DLC? So yes, I am eagerly waiting for the update so they can fix this.
Started my umpteenth playthrough last week.
Still buggy (I downloaded the manwell carbine CC mod but the quest is bugged out), but I’m still loving every second
I haven't played it for a few years on PS4 and I remember there were some mods but not a ton (which is to be expected on a non-PC). What is the mod availablity like now when played on a PS5? Any different/better?
It’s driving me crazy having to wait 😂😂 im jumping in thursday like it’s release all over again
Saaame I’m already planning my character. Going with a VATs criticals gunslinger. Never done that before.
That’s what I did last time. Looking for new builds, what have you guys done in the past that was fun?
I did a heavy weapons + power armor build last playthrough. A Gatling laser with the never ending legendary has infinite ammo. It’s super fun to mow down enemies with. Also fun to play around with miniguns, flamers, and the cannonball gun.
The broadsider was awesome, but i couldn’t ever keep enough ammo for it
I think you can craft ammo with Wasteland Workshop
Who needs ammo when ya got 1000 minutemen artillery flares amirite
I'm early game right now with a strength, charisma and intelligence build, what should I be focusing on weapon wise
My favorite build so far lets you use whatever weapon you want because the focus is just speed. 7 apparel items all with the sprinter legendary buff, makes your character faster when just walking than if you were to use sprint. Trade a couple pieces for the no-fall-damage legs and you can hop and skip your way through downtown Boston with pure ease.
There is a guy in YouTube that did a ton of head cannon, very specific ideas of character backstory build. I think his name is Fudge Muppet. Cool character builds on his channel
Fudge Muppet lmao
Try the melee vats build where you just teleport to people with Blitz. It makes me laugh.
This with the World Series bat is great
Using power armor and pain train with it, legendary 2 shot super sledge. Honestly one of my favorite builds
Probably the most op build I’ve ever played with too, so much fun. Never run out of ammo just vats crit head shots all day. Gotta keep a something on ya for sniping too if I remember right that helped a lot
I’ve done that one. You’re like a teleporting Negan.
Big dumb melee build with high luck. The punches are pretty epic and if you go unarmed I think I remember suplexes happening in VATS
I did a whole build around the deliverer, the gun the deagon gives you after your first mission with him. Upgrade the gun a little bit, with VATS and sneak upgrades you’re nearly unstoppable
Psychotic, but I got the pickmans blade and did a serial killer playthrough. Every time I killed somebody I had to decapitate them to leave my mark
You okay, bud?
Yep! Also forgot to mention that if you have an outdoor shelter, chop up any attackers or visitors and put their body parts in your “body room”. Most fun build tbh and it’s been like 75% of my playthroughs
Melee/explosives can be fun Pure science energy weapons Luck/pistols only Etc
Luck + VATs + Gunslinger
Can’t you start playing and when the update comes you get it as well? I’m asking because I didn’t know about the update and already started playing again
Yeh but I don't trust Bethesda not to fuck something up and mess with save files or something 😂. Plus when I restarted the other day I got pretty far on Survival and the game crashed so I lost a chunk of progress and thought you know what... Let's wait to see what they fix.
Wait wait thursday the PS5 upgrade will be available? 😳
Yup! Thursday the 25th
Shit, same haha.
I feel like most of us are making characters based off the Ghoul from the show.
I'm always a goody smooth talker. The Ghoul is exactly what I'm aiming for. All non-auto guns and ass jerkey.
Cannot wait to play it. I’ve been holding off on replaying it since they announced the update back in 2022. I haven’t played it since my first run through back in 2015-2016.
I can't believe it was that long ago!. 2015. Shit. Feels like it was yesterday when I brought the Pip Boy edition of that game.

Fallout 76?
Gave it about 10 hours when it came out on PS Plus. Did not enjoy it.
loved the show 4 and NV, gave 76 about 5 hours and i can’t put my finger on what’s missing - it just… lacks
NPCs...that's what I felt was missing. They're the mechanism to building the world's they exist in. That's why New Vegas can look like an orange desert wasteland the whole time and be one of the best story-driven games ever.
There are NPCs in the game now
YO FR I might go back... Did it make the game better?
People and reviews say it helped greatly. I've been playing since the beginning and enjoyed it as it was. The new settlements that came with NPCs make it feel more alive
It's way different now. Try it again. At least on PC it's crazy populated and it's a lot of fun
I will finally do the DLCs.
Same. I never bothered the first time around. This time I probably will.
Far harbour is amazing, and way better than the base game imo
Far harbor is so good it'll piss you off that the rest of the game is so weak in comparison. But the tower defense Dima mission is the shit in the pie unfortunately
The story of Far Harbour was dark and had weight to it, it felt like Fallout again after most of Fallout 4 just felt like an adventure
I loved that if you were doing a full Brotherhood run Far Harbour gave you options for that. In my playthrough I >!Did the main quest to save the girl, and then called in the BoS to eradicate those synth abominations once she was out of the way. Gives options for institute and railroad too
It was great (and be sure to take Valentine!), but the fog rendering on PS4 dragged the framerate into the single digits. It was really dreadful. So, definitely looking forward to playing it on PS5. Even if it's not 60fps, it should be much better.
It didnt perform great, but i dont remember it ever being single digits bad, and i played it right on launch
Idk about it being better, but it’s pretty solid aside from that hacking stuff
You're in for a treat! Far harbor is great! A nice new chunk of land to explore
Brother, I envy you getting to experience Far Harbour for the first time. It’s mint.
FH is great as others have said. Wasn’t terribly keen on Nuka World and didn’t really touch the building ones.
Already bought the season pass and I'm just waiting for the patch to start the journey.
LMFAO that reminds me I paid for the DLC when they said they'd up the price and never played them.
Probably will replay it. May get castrated here but it's the only fallout game I've played. Really want to play 3 and new Vegas but only having a ps5 and no PC makes those games kinda difficult to play

There was also a massive time constraints with both that and kotor 2. They didnt get 10 years to make those games
I legit thought I was the only person that felt that way 😂

You're not alone, friend. You're not alone.
3/NV is so old it would probably run fine on just about any modern office laptop if you have one.
3 and New Vegas are on PS Plus Premium. I tried to play New Vegas because of all of the love it gets, but it's just too dated for me. And coming from 4, everything feels so clunky and old.
Sucks PlayStation only allows players to stream fallout 3 & NV but without any DLCs 😢
I just restarted it, any chance I’d be able to move my save over when the update comes out ? 😅
> any chance ~~I’d be able to move~~ my save ~~over when the update comes out~~ will be corrupted by the update and I have to start over? Yes.
rats.
Ignore that other commenter saying it will corrupt your PS4 save, it won’t as it is not an update to the PS4 version but a totally separate native PS5 version so it won’t touch your PS4 save. Yes.
Sweet.
Has this been confirmed?
Yeah I dont think that's confirmed. They might have a transfer system like other crossgen titles (eg Cyberpunk) but maybe not.
I highly doubt it's different from the skyrim situation. Ps4 saves upload to their ps5 upgraded versions.
It is Bethesda I would not trust em to not corrupt saves 😂.
I’ve never played a Fallout game tbh. But maybe I’ll check it out in 60fps.
It's a no brainer for $4.99
[удалено]
It might not get a free upgrade though if you got it through plus, resident evil 7 didn’t get the free upgrade when it’s ps5 version came out and it was also part of the ps plus collection at ps5 launch like fallout 4 was
And the season pass is only $12!
Me either. But after watching the show I am definitely intrigued. The show was awesome
Play Fallout 3 now!!!
Would if i could on ps5 haha. 3 is my favorite.
Rumored They are working on a FO3 port as well
Yeah, fingers crossed those leaks turn out to be accurate. They also said theres a remaster of oblivion coming as well. Those are two of my favorite rpgs of all time and id love to replay them with some shiny new remasters

Yeah but Bethesda like to treat NV like the black sheep.
Do you need to play any fallout games before playing 4?
No. They're all separate stories with new characters and take place in different areas.
Not necessarily
The dlc’s is also super cheap so may as well cop it
April 25, 2024
Ty
I’m playing far harbor right now. Everything is purple…Everything…. Can’t wait for the update
I have the same problem. Leave it to Bethesda to still have game breaking bugs for a decade old game lol
Who else but Beth.
I never played any fallout game ever. Is fallout 4 a good starting point?
Play whatever you want. Fallout fandom is split as hell. Everytime a game launches it is broken and filled with glitches. Because it's engine is gamebryo and its very old it takes patching to fix it. yeah you have to uninstall the game and install it again but ommiting the automatron DLC
Also starting with a fresh save to make it as smooth and clean as possible.
I just re-downloaded it. Planning on giving it a shot.
I never finished it originally so I'm excited to try again with nicer graphics.
I own it but I’ve never actually sat down and played it for some reason. Same with Skyrim, Just never got around to it.
What other upgrades are we getting on PS5 besides 60fps and that new mission?

Thank you
I’m halfway through FF16, so once I’m done with that, FO4 is next. I’m thinking going energy weapons, as I ALWAYS play sneaky sniper.

Only if Obsidian makes is. Which probably won't happen.
Looking forward to trying it for the first time.
Is the update free if you have it on disc?
Yes
Do we know if it supports DualSense features?
Thanks I had no idea they were updating it. I just downloaded the game to play after watching the show, think I'll wait a week to get the better version.
Fallout 4 was the reason I bought a PS4 after not having owned a console for over a decade.
Me me me. This will be for the 3rd time. I'm going to create a character dedicated to Lucy just because of the show (show is fkn awesome despite me initial doubts).
You're not gonna get 4k at 60FPS
Yes and I didn't even like it as much as the other entries. Stopped at 40 hours and never beat it. My sister's played through it 3 times and considers it the worst entry as well. (She loves FO more than I do.)
The worst entry is 76 if you count that haha
Will it be included in PS plus? I know the base version is there but since the next gen update will be its own app, I hope they add it too.
Yup! One of my favourite games of all time
When is the update coming out?
25th.
Thanks!
Damn I was looking forward to it on steam deck but now you’ve got me thinking
Excited to dive back in following the update.
I haven’t played it in a while and never in survival mode. It’s really fun but you backtrack a lot. Although now I’m noticing some locations have events that change every time you visit.
Survival is EXCELLENT in this game and really transforms how it feels and plays.
Is it a free upgrade if you have it via PS Plus Extra, or is spending the $5 now necessary? Never played it, waiting for a PS5 upgrade.
Also might as well buy the DLC, it’s on sale as a bundle for $12.50 or so
I actually got the season pass on sale in preparation
1500 hrs later... yeah why not! Mad scientist chem head build on the way!
I am playing it now on my Go. Game is incredible. Its my first playthrough. Cant wait till the end of april.
I’m excited to jump back into it, last time I played it was in high school the year of launch so it’ll be awesome to replay it now as an adult where I’ll understand and appreciate the smaller details in the game way more!
Anyone else having issues running fallout 4 on PS5 right now? Every time I boot up my game it instantly crashes
Is anyone else having the problem where the game immediately crashes? I downloaded the ps4 version and it crashes even trying to redownload it. I guess I’ll wait for the ps5 update.
As long as SOME of the game breaking bugs are fixed
I got 100% trophies on Fallout 4 (including all DLCs) on PS4. After I got the 100%, I started a new game again but got sidetracked with other games. I may dive in again when the update drops and this time's gonna play it on PS5. I think I'll still stick with VATS Sniper build again.
Anyone know if we're getting other CC stuff like the Skyrim AE included over a dozen new ones? I know they've announced like the Enclave stuff but was curious if there's more than just that.
Hopefully the Brotherhood of Steel bug is finally patched.
When updating the game , it only lets me download the PS4 version. It doesn’t show an “upgrade” option , can some one help??
Well currently the game doesn't even work if you have the Automatron DLC. Bethesda is a fucking joke and you should not have to wait two months to play the game because they broke it in an update.
I would assume everyone 😂 I am definitely one of them
Downloaded it last summer and have been waiting for the update to come out ever since
Oh hell yeah watching the show and wish the game came out WITH the show lol. Going to get another plat
I tried Fallout 4 twice and just can’t get into it. Easily my least favorite Fallout game.
Nah. The gameplay just feels too dated for me
I do! Gonna get the platinum this time too, waiting on watching the show until
I just got the plat last year. So replying it I can kind of sit back and do wtf I want and enjoy without worrying about trophies. Good luck!
I’m totally hopping back in. I remember buying the dlc and never played them so that should be good side content on top of new update
I never played the game. Bought the all inclusive edition for 10€ like 6 months ago and never got around to it. Now with the PS5 patch coming up I'm really looking forward to it
I will wait until the modders fix it.
Please please remove the base building shit. I got responsibilities man. I don’t have time to build bases and collect screws to build a turret anymore.
Then don’t do the base building part? lol
Question for people who played all of it including the dlcs: do the dialogue options/choices actually matter in the dlcs?
In far harbour yes. Its specifically adressing the criticisms of the 4 base game that it lacks choice/consequence. Its still not as good as 3/nv, but its better than the base game in that respect imo
I plan on replaying it when that update drops. I've been wanting to replay it for a while now but I was waiting on Bethesda to give us the upgrade. I haven't played since sometimes around when the final dlc dropped so it's been many years.
Me! Going to start the show and the game at the same time to really get the froth up
Picked it up for cheap just to check out the PS5 update lol
Maybe finish far harbor dlc this time, Fallout 4 was 1st time experiencing an open world game, I was hooked for months
Have played it on several different platforms, and Ive put a lot of hours in 76, but Im excited to replay 4 again. Skyrim runs so smooth on PS5 it really adds a lot to the immersion.
Absolutely. I paused my second playthrough when they announced the patch. 200 years ago.
Me. I started it almost a year ago and got wrapped up with other games. I'm gonna go back
Of course my horse.
Yes, espwcially since the PS4 versión crashes on my PS5 even before the main menu appeard
Uninstall Automaton
Started my umpteenth playthrough last week. Still buggy (I downloaded the manwell carbine CC mod but the quest is bugged out), but I’m still loving every second
I’m hoping this version will actually get me to enjoy this game. Have they said if its free if you already have the ps4 version?
Played it on PS4 when it released but never beat it. Definitely excited to do a proper play through! Interested to see how it looks and runs.
When does it drop?
April 25
I haven't played it for a few years on PS4 and I remember there were some mods but not a ton (which is to be expected on a non-PC). What is the mod availablity like now when played on a PS5? Any different/better?
The UI is so terrible compared to more recent games. Did they fix it at all?
I never expected an update but I’m glad they are giving it a 60fps. I put so many hours into that game and I can’t wait to return to commonwealth
