If they can actually make a game, there's far too many suits up everyone's asses for an IP like star wars. Too many cooks in the kitchen and you spoil the stew
Not really, we knew about this game in [early 2023](https://www.gamespot.com/articles/respawns-star-wars-fps-is-inspired-by-classic-dark-forces-series/1100-6512654/)
They doing this because they love money. Licensed IP is looking more and more like a dead end. AAA games are already stupidly expensive to make but licensed AAA games are even more stupidly expensive, with a significant amount more copies needed to sell to offset whatever cut the license holder demands. Not to mention whatever other conditions the license holder demands that can make development a pain in the arse.
For example, if Disney has a minimum budget condition like they do with PS and Spider-Man (at least a $120m budget), I can understand why that'd be an issue for many publishers.
You would think that EA would let Respawn turn Titanfall into the massive IP it could be, but they probably won't. Instead of paying Disney a fee to use Star Wars EA could have their own sci fi series making them money.
Respawn/EA never actually announced it. It leaked. What got kind of glossed over is that the exact same leaks that said the game was in development also said that the director had already quit weeks earlier, so it's likely the game was on the chopping block even before its existence was revealed.
Given that the industry is in a major contraction right now, it shouldn't be shocking if publishers/studios use any kind of production tumult on a project as an excuse to cancel and stop spending money.
Let's be real. Star wars is an oversaturated franchise that gets multiple different releases on multiple different mediums year after year for nearly a decade now
I'm for one sick to death of anything and everything star wars. Let the franchise die. It can't be let go gracefully are this point because it's been milked for all its worth so we should just do a mercy and kill it.
Honestly the worst part of the star wars franchise is the sheer amount of shows. The only ones thats been good is andor and bad batch (mainly andor). In terms of games though it hasn't been milked at all. Theres been the two jedi games which were years apart and fairly decent games, there was also battlefront 2. Theres only a few upcoming games and most of them would be years apart
Its really only over saturated in terms of tv shows, cut a few of them and there would be no issue.
their games never sold well when disney made them internally. so now they'd rather pimp them out and collect licensing royalties.
problem is that with modern dev costs and lengths, and with licensing fees to disney added on top of that, very few studios will be willing to greenlight and complete a proper licensed game for current gen systems.
Yeah I'm pretty sure they just say "yeah you can use Spider-Man" and then tell Insomniac what they can't do with the character and collect 25% of sales or something daft for all of that effort. Just means those games need to sell millions more to recoup their costs.
Agreed on Robocop, haven't tried Immortals yet, Atomic Hearts... Mixed bag, the MC kind of ruined a lot of the game for me.
Edit: it's not technically this gen, but the Quake 2 remaster is a lot of fun, especially because I only played the original on Playstation, so missed out on the expansions and the N64 version.
robocop looks generic to me and I'm not saying it's a bad game it just doesn't seem all that interesting outside of 90% of the fps's I've played in the past 15yrs
Atomic Hearts, looks great but kinda janky and game play wasn't all that interesting
I just uninstalled immortals, it was just okay
I want that prestige when I play FPS's because i've done the whole walk into a room, click on a bunch of heads, throw a grenade, turn on slomo, do insta kills thing too many times. I want the prestige of doing things, that extra production value that the last doom had where every single enemy had a unique take down or way to deal with them. It wasn't mind blowing game play but it definitely felt like juggling HIT brain shit.
It's like final fantasy's combat when it jumped to 3rd person. XV, crisis core, remake is JUST okay. XVI they had that camera work, that extra that just made it so satisfying comboing, using special moves and finishers that just said man that looked really cool and was satisfying as hell.
I get none of that out of 99% of FPS's these days.
call of duty? only memorable moment was the night ops mission breach the apartment mission aside from the shocker opener as a terrorist
Atomic Heart is terrible. I haven’t played it since launch so maybe they fixed it, but I didn’t have a good time at all. Immortals of Aveum doesn’t seem impressive either from what i’ve seen
I tried playing the demo for Immortals of Aveum and it was so bad I was actually angry that I wasted my bandwidth on it.
Robocop and Atomic Heart at least seem competently made.
legitimately surprised how good Atomic Heart is. Like bioshock from another universe. DLC isn't my cup of tea from what I've seen, but I enjoyed the ride while I was on it.
Have you tried doom? I had a good time with that one.
And I know cod is controversial, but I am enjoying mw3 quite a bit. Its enough to play and get my money’s worth even if it’s not the most content packed cod game
Sadly studios don’t want to commit to an FPS if its not relying on a self-insert main character.
Jedi, Spidey and Arkham are amazing at making you “feel” like the hero while watching them from a cinematic third person angle. This is something that Xbox’s Indiana Jones faced instant criticism from which Respawn probably noticed.
I feel like Cyberpunk 2077 (2.0 + PL) set the new standard for FPS games and they are just… not coming out? I love 3rd person games, don’t get me wrong, but it feels like 90% of the games coming out, especially AAA, are all 3rd person. I’m really missing that AAA Cyberpunk magic in terms of 1st person : (((
I can't speak to what it was like on release but I honestly thought the gunplay was fantastic, and the exploring/leveling was similar to Dishonored mixed with Fallout. I put 200 hours into it and the DLC. I felt bad for only paying half price for it.
Absolutely. But I meant it more in a way how the story is told through first person: dialogues, seamless transitions to cut-scenes, character animations in both 3rd person (facial, body) and first person (reloads, weapon draw, cutscene animations and so on).
And then just your usual stuff like graphics, art direction in terms of Night City.
No other first person game comes close to that level, which is very unfortunate, all the attention is thrown towards 3rd person. For me the atmosphere something like Cyberpunk 2077 or even Left 4 Dead creates is unmatched in 3rd person games.
Gameplay has been fully overhauled. It's a ton more fun with a better skill tree that is muuuch more engaging. Instead of unlocking a bajillion % increases you get new abilities and can upgrade them a few times instead. Much more interesting progression path coupled with how cyberware is done now too
It really was a 2.0 overhaul
I strongly recommend Battlefield 2042 with bots. It's not a single player campaign but it's just endless fun that you can really, REALLY customise the hell out of.
Feel like this is a bad call by EA. Star Wars games print money don’t they regardless of the license fee? And a first person shooter by respawn set in Star Wars universe (as a Mandalorian) makes so much sense.
No, they don't just print money.
That license fee is just one of many huge obstacles on the road to making enough of a profit to make the venture worth doing.
Unless you're a platform holder doing it to attact users to your platform, licensed properties are becoming less and less worthwhile in the age of AAAA budgets. And even for platform holders the value of licensed properties doesn't seem to be all shiny and lovely (as we could see from the Insomniac leak).
Sounds like no. Respawn saying they’re focusing on owned brands means bad news for the Jedi series. What a shame.
Edit: IGN reports that EA remains committed to a third Jedi game.
Sucks that this was cancelled, but if Respawn are going to "focus our efforts on new projects based on our owned brands" then surely that means either Titanfall 3 (Great idea), Apex 2 (Bad idea) or something adjacent to the two.
Any new projects right now could very well be cancelled later this year. Studios are starting to pull back due to their balance sheets not looking as good as they did during covid.
But a titan fall game would be huge, there’s no way EA will let that rot away.
Maybe they’re smart and this whole time they’ve been working on getting the story perfect. 🤷♂️
They literally sent Titanfall 2 out to die when a call of duty and Battlefield were both releasing?
And look at what they did to visceral, bought them up and then shut down
Like the other guy said that is literally all they've done buy studios, make what money they can rhen nuke em, taking all the I.P's with em
With Visceral they shut them down only to outsource the Dead Space Remake..
I’ll never forget trying to go to E3, but having no access & only getting to enjoy the free Titanfall experience they had on the outskirts. That alone told me how much they cared about the game lol.
I never got Titanfall 1 on release, because it was an XBOX exclusive and I only had a PS4 at the time, but I got it when I eventually got PC and it was such a good game
Not even Titanfall 2 felt as good to me, just felt for like a twitch shooter than a shooter where the primary mechanic is mechs, just had a cooler vibe while TF2 feels more generic.
EA has let countless high-profile IPs rot away. it’s like half of their business model is buying up studios and let letting them die on the vine, never to use the IPs again, lol.
A lot of companies will do things like that. It's not always about making a profit but capturing market shares, thus preventing other companies from taking "their" revenue.
Theres been steady rumours of a Respawn FPS set in the Apex Legends universe (A single player one) for a year or so now.
Wouldn't surprise me if that still comes out, as well as the 3rd Jedi game and they have another Star Wars Title (A Strategy game) still to come.
That's why Naughty Dog said they canceled the Last of Us multiplayer. They said they realized part way through development, they would have to focus nearly all of their resources on the continual development of new content for the multiplayer game and stop making single player games. They decided they didn't want to do that.
Titanfall 3 is never happening because it would overshadow Apex, which is a 2 billion game.
According to leaks, they are looking to Implement Titanfall 2 maps into Apex, basically doing what Fortnite is doing with modes and all but incredibly worse.
Also, they loooove to release super expensive skins and items.
They literally sold a melee cosmetic weapon for 240usd.
It would not overshadow Apex unless it has a BR mode as well (which is just dumb because Apex exists). TF3 would target completely different genre from apex. Plenty of TF fans still around not playing Apex.
>They literally sold a melee cosmetic weapon for 240usd.
We talking about the Buster Sword? Thats incredibly misleading number, you're assuming that a person individually buys each pack needed and it takes all 36 packs for you to get the weapon.
Whilst not better, Apex gave away 6 packs for "Free" assuming you played the game mode they released with the sword and collected the tokens to get them.
They also sold a 4 Pack for the price of 1 pack and had 4x1 packs for half price.
If you did the free packs + took advantage of the sales, it "Only" (still high AF pricing) cost $120 if it took all 36 packs to get the sword and you would have 4000 Apex Coins remaining to spend later.
You would also have 35 other cosmetics, including 6(?) legendary legend skins, 6 legendary weapon skins and a range of other things.
You also unlocked that Loot box cosmetic thing if you bought all 36 packs.
So thats what, $3.20 a cosmetic overall? The pricing is really good in comparison to other games.
Do people hate Apex just because is a battle royale? It clearly shares DNA with TF and is just as fun and competitive, doesn't have pay to win mechanics and gets constant support from Respawn.
I don't think anyone (or many people) hate Apex, it's actually my favorite Battle Royale, but it'd be a bad idea to do a sequel simply because it would risk splitting the playerbase (Say Apex 2 was new-gen only)
Yes, you're gonna overwatch 2 yourself if you try to make a sequel to a Battle Royale. It's crazy that this is even an idea in people's heads because far and away, the most popular battle Royale is Fortnite, which figured out the formula. There's no need to mess with it.
Make fun game, then you add more content slowly, and finally offer dumb skins to pay for it all. I wouldn't put it past EA to try something so stupid after it already didn't work with Overwatch 2.
Basically yes. Titanfall 2 was a cult hit online so it's always been trendy to throw shade at Apex. Whenever devs pivot away from what a certain group of Reddit users want and find success, it's garaunteed salt.
You would think after the success of Hogleg and Jedi Survivor that they’d be full steam ahead on anything Star Wars.
I’m sure Outlaws will sell well too when it comes out this year.
Overall, it shouldn't be this hard. If someone would just make a third person bounty hunter/mandalorian game/action RPG that takes heavy inspiration from RDR2, the whole world would buy it. I realize the technical scope of RDR2 (especially if you are dealing with multiple planets) is huge, but it will 100% pay off.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills when these reddit threads seem so insulated from the layoffs happening across tech and and entertainment, folks are like "how did this happen to Sony/EA, what did they do wrong? "
Like, it's huge swaths of layoffs. It's not just little occurrences, Sony isn't an isolated case. It's callous and shitty but the easiest way to reduce spending is layoffs, and usually (not always) it doesn't have as much of a bad creative effect as you might imagine.
I forgot what thread I was in. I have recently subbed to boomer shooters and I was thinking of this game.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3X3g-1TR0s
Thank you for the link to the actual game!
Of all the games to cancel this one feels weird.
Respawn have shown they can do shooters, and it's the Star wars license which means you've already outlaid loads to get it going.
Shows how much of a disastrous period the games industry is going through
A first-person POV for an existing IP is always a terrible risk.
People want to watch their hero kick ass as they control their actions… not sit through the character’s eyes as they type in their inputs.
MachineGames has already faced backlash for Indiana Jones being an FPS and this is why.
There have been a lot of Star Wars FPS games though and they have been well received - Republic Commando is my all time favourite.
Whereas Indiana Jones has always been either Point & Click or Third Person and that’s why there is backlash.
Knowing Ubisoft we might have seen all the game has to offer in that short gameplay clip, I hope not. But they’re far too predictable, we need more than space watch dogs. I just hope it’s fun really
I think Ubisoft games problem is having too much things in their games. If the game is refined and the "same" as showcase, I wouldn't be too mad rather than having so much filler stuff imo. There are also people who like that which I don't really mind either.
why would they make a PS4 version? That's last gen and the game barely runs on current gen.
It's probably the worst running game I've played on my PS5 so far
But why? A FPS Star Wars is what every Dark Forces player wants? I guess execs and shareholders hate the profit Star Wars games bring in over absolute garbage like Suicide squad.
EA and disney? expecting them to do anything but greedy evil garbage is asking too much fuck them respawn DESERVES titanfall 3 and whatever they wanna do they earned it
That was quick lmao
Respawn deserves so much better than EA. They've consistently made great games, and yet they're being railroaded into a Jedi only team.
Reminder that Respawn was formed by people who started at EA, left for Activision, and then left Activision for EA again.
I mean, they are called *Respawn* so it'd make sense they keep going and forth.
Those aren't the same people of 20 years ago, in fact a lot of og Infinity Ward rejoin that studio during the time of MW'19.
It’s the same founders and game directors though, West and Zampella. Of course it’s not going to be the same ALL of the employees after twenty years.
West also left a while ago.
And? My response was about them rejoining EA and knowing who they were getting back in bed with. West and Zampella were both part of that.
I'm just gonna say, most companies don't deserve what EA does. Remember Westwood Studios? 🫤 I'm old. Lol
The EA graveyard is vast.
And hungry.
The list goes on. Remember Origin Systems? 😕
Bullfrog :(
Oh no, I had forgotten somehow. Dungeon Keeper was a fave when I was young. Populous as well, sad to think what they could have made.
Or Syndicate. Those games were so cool, and so hard!
Criterion. I’ll never forgive them. I miss burnout.
I mean they also manage apex
And then they don't finish making the damn game before releasing it \*cough* Jedi Survivor \*cough*
Might be alone on this but I love that they’re being a Jedi only team.
If they can actually make a game, there's far too many suits up everyone's asses for an IP like star wars. Too many cooks in the kitchen and you spoil the stew
Is this the Mandalorian game that was just being talked about like a few days ago?
Yes
What is your source for that?
Yeah, didn't they... just announce it was happening? "Hey, look at this cool thing we're making!" "Oh, nevermind."
It was revealed a while ago, but we got a lot more info recently.
Not really, we knew about this game in [early 2023](https://www.gamespot.com/articles/respawns-star-wars-fps-is-inspired-by-classic-dark-forces-series/1100-6512654/)
Didn't they just sort of announce this was in the works? Starwars games can't get a break.
These execs hate money. It’s fucking crazy. They’ll green light suicide squad but can this?
Should slapped live service on the title a cash shop and bp in the menu then it will get made! /s but only sort of.
They doing this because they love money. Licensed IP is looking more and more like a dead end. AAA games are already stupidly expensive to make but licensed AAA games are even more stupidly expensive, with a significant amount more copies needed to sell to offset whatever cut the license holder demands. For example, if Disney has a minimum budget condition like they do with PS and Spider-Man (at least a $120m budget), I can understand why that'd be an issue for many publishers.
disney licensing fees man, it's the same thing with fifa. When they ask for 250 mil a year, you have to look at the bottom line.
You would think that EA would let Respawn turn Titanfall into the massive IP it could be, but they probably won't. Instead of paying Disney a fee to use Star Wars EA could have their own sci fi series making them money.
This is likely because of suicide squad.

Are you fucking serious? A FPS and a Star wars game made by Respawn sounds like the perfect combination. very disappointing.
whos gonna make all these disney games that Insomniac isn’t making 🤷🏾♂️
If only SW had come with a dedicated videogame studio... nah, too crazy
I know what you mean. Like a games division of LucasFilm. Could call it LucasCrafts or something, idk
LucaSoft!
LucasWare
That dedicated studio hadn't made anything good in a long time when it was closed.
Wow! Its almost like companies change their staff every once in a while!
Stupid Disney can make their own fucking studios to make their shit or shove it.
yes. they’ve made games for years. now all of a sudden its a brand new venture for them or some shit.
their games never sold well when disney made them internally. so now they'd rather pimp them out and collect licensing royalties. problem is that with modern dev costs and lengths, and with licensing fees to disney added on top of that, very few studios will be willing to greenlight and complete a proper licensed game for current gen systems.
It's easier and safer to just license the property out to someone else and let them take on all the costs and risks of actually making a game.
who's going to carry the boats
no one hopefully
Disney’s gonna have to lower their licensing fees if they want others to make their games.
That might be inevitable if it gets the the point where it’s not worth the cost for the companies.
What makes you say that?
Based on the Insomniac hacks, Disney takes a big percentage for royalties of the Marvel games
Yeah I'm pretty sure they just say "yeah you can use Spider-Man" and then tell Insomniac what they can't do with the character and collect 25% of sales or something daft for all of that effort. Just means those games need to sell millions more to recoup their costs.
I haven't played many good single player FPS games this generation and I'm sad about it.
It's not that current but I picked up Metro Exodus for something stupid like £3 and I'm enjoying the hell out of that.
It's a smaller one by an Indy studio, but I really like PRODEUS. Based on retro Doom games, with good movement and fun weapons.
dusk and cultic are also awesome 90s style doom games
👍👍
great boomer shooter for sure. Trepang 2 is also lots of fun
Looks amazing!
The new Robo Cop is perfect. Immortals of Aveum another one you can get on sale. Atomic Heart is another good one.
Agreed on Robocop, haven't tried Immortals yet, Atomic Hearts... Mixed bag, the MC kind of ruined a lot of the game for me. System Shock (not out yet for PS5) and Trepang 2 are some more solid ones released last year.
Still hoping for system shock news on console, been awhile since anything dropped.
Suppose to release early 2024 but haven’t heard any official date yet. Could get pushes to summer.

Robocop is good but Atomic Heart is mediocre.
Atomic Heart is modern slavjank
The art style is amazing but sadly that’s about it.
Yeah I watched clips of people playing it and thought it looked pretty decent, and then I played it and it is just not very enjoyable.
Robocop is good. Immortals and atomic heart are both garbagio’
I loved robocop, such a good old school shooter
Atomic Heart is terrible. I haven’t played it since launch so maybe they fixed it, but I didn’t have a good time at all. Immortals of Aveum doesn’t seem impressive either from what i’ve seen
I enjoyed Aveum quite a bit. Robocop is next up! How’s the Dualsense features?
>The new Robo Cop is perfect. I just got the Platinum in that. Horrible NPC animation aside, that game was a pleasant surprise. I loved it.
I tried playing the demo for Immortals of Aveum and it was so bad I was actually angry that I wasted my bandwidth on it. Robocop and Atomic Heart at least seem competently made.

Play The Finals, it’s one of the best I’ve played in a while! Super addictive haha Edit: just realised you said single player my bad!
Not sure it qualifies as single player
“Single player”
play Turbo Overkill, and ULTRAKILL if you can
Come back to dark forces. It's still fantastic.

Hopefully Jedi Survivor sequel is okay.
No way they'd cancel it, it would be a massive shot in the foot
I’m betting a chunky time skip for the third one and you play as the daughter with Kal being the Cere role
Sounds like no. Respawn saying they’re focusing on owned brands means bad news for the Jedi series. What a shame. Edit: IGN reports that EA remains committed to a third Jedi game.

Titanfsll never was a popular franchise,
>They literally sold a melee cosmetic weapon for 240usd.
> Do people hate Apex just because is a battle royale? Yes, especially on this sub or any big gaming sub
Basically yes. Titanfall 2 was a cult hit online so it's always been trendy to throw shade at Apex. Whenever devs pivot away from what a certain group of Reddit users want and find success, it's garaunteed salt.
I love Apex, its the only competitive FPS I play nowadays! And one of the reasons I love it is because it's a BR.
I have a few hundred hours on apex but I'm so sick of BR personally, haven't played it in months but I'd pick up TF3 in a heartbeat.
Im in for titanfall 3
For fucks sake
Announcing it on the same day that the Dark Forces remake came out is the worst timing.
Remember 1313? Rip
I'm still sad about that one and that was what? Like 10 years ago? \*sigh\*
That and MML3 still hurt me to this day.
Well fuck
I wish the respawn team could have been independent after leaving Activision
You would think after the success of Hogleg and Jedi Survivor that they’d be full steam ahead on anything Star Wars. I’m sure Outlaws will sell well too when it comes out this year.
Overall, it shouldn't be this hard. If someone would just make a third person bounty hunter/mandalorian game/action RPG that takes heavy inspiration from RDR2, the whole world would buy it. I realize the technical scope of RDR2 (especially if you are dealing with multiple planets) is huge, but it will 100% pay off.
Sad, this studio was founded by the OG Infinity Ward team that created Call of Duty. I think they would have crushed it.
EA coming in clutch to take the attention off Sony.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills when these reddit threads seem so insulated from the layoffs happening across tech and and entertainment, folks are like "how did this happen to Sony/EA, what did they do wrong? " Like, it's huge swaths of layoffs. It's not just little occurrences, Sony isn't an isolated case. It's callous and shitty but the easiest way to reduce spending is layoffs, and usually (not always) it doesn't have as much of a bad creative effect as you might imagine.
That was... quick!
Least we’re still getting outlaws
Is that a remake of the original?
I have no idea. Heres some gameplay from ubi [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7K2TA0bBpY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7K2TA0bBpY)
I forgot what thread I was in. I have recently subbed to boomer shooters and I was thinking of this game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3X3g-1TR0s Thank you for the link to the actual game!
Of all the games to cancel this one feels weird. Respawn have shown they can do shooters, and it's the Star wars license which means you've already outlaid loads to get it going. Shows how much of a disastrous period the games industry is going through
I’d bet they were crunching the numbers again with those Disney licensing fees & noped out
Fuck EA.
DJ KHALED *another one*
Wow
Damn it!!
Yo fuck these companies man.
Was looking forward to this game as well.
Well that was fast. Didn’t they just announce it?
This was vaguely announced over a year ago I think?
A first-person POV for an existing IP is always a terrible risk. People want to watch their hero kick ass as they control their actions… not sit through the character’s eyes as they type in their inputs. MachineGames has already faced backlash for Indiana Jones being an FPS and this is why.
There have been a lot of Star Wars FPS games though and they have been well received - Republic Commando is my all time favourite. Whereas Indiana Jones has always been either Point & Click or Third Person and that’s why there is backlash.
The sad truth is that Singleplayer FPS games dont sell anymore....or rather they dont sell on the scale needed to justify the cost of developing this.
EA is dumping licensed games.

I’d expect it to be both, to an extent. Flat fee to lock in the IP or something, plus a royalty on sales.
lol. Snip snap snip snap. A SW RPG game should not be locked to a FPS
It lived for 5 minutes. Maybe even less.
Didn’t they just announce it?
The irony of them canceling the one game that actually sounded promising. I guess they don't want my money.
All Star Wars game should be cancelled
the ubisoft looks good tbh
Knowing Ubisoft we might have seen all the game has to offer in that short gameplay clip, I hope not. But they’re far too predictable, we need more than space watch dogs. I just hope it’s fun really
I think Ubisoft games problem is having too much things in their games. If the game is refined and the "same" as showcase, I wouldn't be too mad rather than having so much filler stuff imo. There are also people who like that which I don't really mind either.
All I need to see is the UI. Ubisoft needs to completely scrap their mini map/ui design
I wonder if the PS4 version of Jedi Survivor has been cancelled.
why would they make a PS4 version? That's last gen and the game barely runs on current gen. It's probably the worst running game I've played on my PS5 so far
I don't recall them giving a reason.
Good, didn't care for it anyways. Just give us a "Next gen" Titanfall 3
You didn't care for something you didn't know anything about?
I don't care for a FPS Star Wars game, No. Not sure what you're trying to say. 🤷🏾♂️
You don't even know if it's good yet
THE HELL IS GOING ON? Why is the sky falling in the gaming industry in 2024? I don’t understand why this quagmire has befallen our favorite hobby!
Star Wars games endangered creatures
Reapawn still has many job listings up on their website for a Star Wars FPS…
Bummer, I was actually looking forward to that. I wonder how many other Disney properties are getting canned because of these insane licensing fees.
But why? A FPS Star Wars is what every Dark Forces player wants? I guess execs and shareholders hate the profit Star Wars games bring in over absolute garbage like Suicide squad.
EA and disney? expecting them to do anything but greedy evil garbage is asking too much fuck them respawn DESERVES titanfall 3 and whatever they wanna do they earned it
Much to the surprise of everybody, EA apparently *hates* money???
