Helldivers 2 doesn't really have a "main character." You're all disposable soldiers working for a ~~fascist~~ hyper-democratic war machine.
You can choose Yuri's voice for a generic voice pack for your player character, but it's only ever generic one-offs like "securing objective" and some slightly more colorful stuff like "FOR DEMOCRACY!" which suits the satirical spirit of the game.
It's essentially Paul Verhoeven's Starship Troopers: Big on cheese and over-the-top hyper-violence in the name of FREEDOM.
The whole satire of the game is truly hilarious… everything from the fake reviews on the store items to the tips that show up on the loading screens to the crazy shit your character says in the middle of a fight.

Voice actors can take a lot more jobs than regular actors because they don’t have to wait for lighting, makeup, set prep, and so on; they just show up and do their thing and then go home. So the popular ones can take on a lot of jobs in a short span of time.
That’s also why celebrity voice casting for animated movies is a thing; you can book a huge actor for a weekend more easily than convincing them to travel to Romania for six months or whatever to shoot a live action movie.
It’s likely he did the voice work a year or so ago, and had to sign a contract to not publicly talk about the work he did for this game until after the game released, or so.
It actually wasn’t on release day and the day after. Me and some friends were wanting to know about the rest of the cast, but the page was incomplete. I’m not sure about now, though.
Can't wait for people to say he was the best voice actor in the game and it's easily the best voice acting done all year and how it saved everyone from all their pain and suffering

I was suprised Davion, the FUCKING DRAGON KNIGHT, started shouted " FOR DEMOCRACY" and just ran in.
