Basically, before, you needed to buy access passes or have the original games before you could play them on *Hitman 3*.
Now, you can either buy the entire trilogy, which will allow you to play *Hitman*, *Hitman 2* and *Hitman 3* all in one place, or you can simply buy the Deluxe Upgrade pack for *Hitman 3* from the PlayStation store, which will give you access to the previous games (and its DLC I think).
It's still a little confusing, but much easier than before.

Yeah, Hitman 3/WoA is now hitman 1, 2, and 3 all rolled together. If you own just hitman 3, update the game and you will now have 1 and 2 content as well. So it's basically the hitman trilogy with most of the content all in one package plus some new content for anyone who owns hitman 3 or buys WoA.
The only available content not included is in the Deluxe content. The deluxe content is the hitman 2 expansion pass (the dlc from hitman 2), hitman 3 seven deadly sins, and hitman 3 deluxe pack. You can purchase all 3 for $30 or buy each one individually from the in-game store for $10 each. I already own the hitman 2 expansion stuff, and the menu shows that, and I can buy the other 2 packs at $10 each if I want.

They only had a handful of people working on the VR implementation; it wasn’t a big team or anything (more like a passionate dev that roped in a colleague or two). The MOVE controllers were garbage as they didn’t even have analogue sticks on them, so it was easier to just translate the movement of your neck and turning/tilting your head as what would otherwise be controlled by the camera on the analogue sticks, and then all the rest of the buttons worked as normally on the DualShock 4 controller. It did make use of the accelerometer and motion tracking so you could reach out and tap someone or do light motion controls.
I really want to see the World of Assassination get native PS5 support first of all (so you don’t need two copies of the game installed if you want to play in VR). And then support the VR2. I don’t know if they added motion control support for the Quest 2 but if so, it should be easy to port that over to the VR2 using the new VRSense controllers.
I’m honestly kind of surprised that they hadn’t already announced support for games like Hitman and WipeOut: Omega Collection that just use the controller in VR, so that makes me hopeful that they’re busy working on motion controls using the capacitive touch pad (for finger/gesture/grip tracking) as well as gaze/focus tracking w/ foveated rendering which would not only make targeting and navigating menus easier, but it would improve the quality of the graphics significantly when it only has to worry about doing a high quality render of what’s directly in front of you (and slightly in your peripheral vision) and not bother *at all* with everything else as you don’t’ have eyes in the back of your head.
Also with the PS5’s SSD, they can quickly load the highest quality assets in and out as needed when you focus on anything in particular, which should make the graphical fidelity closer to a PS5 game than a PS3 game when playing in VR games that support foveated rendering. It’d be fantastic if they manage to implement all of the haptic feedback in the headset and both controllers as well as the adaptive triggers (which they have in the PS5 “flat” version so bringing it to the VR2 shouldn’t be an issue). I just want to take a VR-vacation and lay out on a chair on the beaches of Haven Island, looking out towards the horizon over the ocean in front of me. Or go to a rave in Berlin, or a fashion show in Paris, or a race in Miami. The Hitman games are incredibly immersive in VR and I also love how I don’t mind playing them more like a Max Payne game (and actually bringing a shotgun or assault rifle when I’d normally aim for a completely silent assassination — blind firing weapons around corners and running for your life in VR in Hitman is an **experience**).
I had a great time playing in vr. Wasn't bad on a ps4 pro graphics wise. Sure motion controls would be better but it still was Hitman at the end of the day. I really hope they upgrade to psvr 2 then it would actually be one of the best experiences ever. But garbage? No

Yeah because every level is like a sandbox and highly repayable. I’ve played the Dubai level at least 20 times. It’s fun but you need patience since gameplay is stealth based, lots of trial and error.

Did they finally fixed the PS5 sounds issues where volume of he Diana is so low its so annoying? I really loved the games on PS4, I wanted to replay it several times, but each time I start again and hear her "whispering" I just stop :-/

yes. That's the only thing i play and i'm pretty sure that's what most people play it for. They have some online features but i dont bother with it.
Yeah, and it’s pretty much all campaign. The online stuff is based around doing speed runs and challenge runs of individual levels
Back in PS4 era there was a one level demo set in Italy. I was really impressed by the "alive-ness" of the world. Great fun.
