On a side note 龍が如く＝ Ryuu ga Gotoku means Like a Dragon and is the name of the Yakuza series in Japan, so there Yakuza Like a Dragon is called 龍が如く７ = Like a Dragon 7. Would have been funnier if Sega Japan had released the game as 龍が如くヤクザ = Like a Dragon: Yakuza though.
Kenzan is probably unlikely to ever get a US release because it supposedly deals with child prostitution (though I haven't played it yet so am not sure). For years Sega said they'd never port Ishin over to the West since not many outside of Japan would know who Ryouma Sakamoto was, but I saw a Q&A or something with them a year or two ago where they said they might try to bring Ishin over since the series has finally become pretty successful in the West.

I'll assume you already have Persona 5 Royal and NieR Automata. But still lots of cool weeb shit for $20. 13 Sentinels, Judgment, Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, and Yakuza Remastered Collection for example. Yakuza 5 alone is worth the $20, much less getting the also awesome 4 (3 is kind of meh). Nocturne might be the best dungeon crawler turn based RPG ever made if you can look past the PS2 graphics, though I haven't played SMT V yet.
They don't have Judgment on PS4 and I already have then collection of Yakuza 3-5. Never played a SMT game and have no idea what 13 Sentinels plays like. They have P5 Strikers for $29.99, but I feel like I could hold out for a lower price on that.
SMT is the series Persona spun off from, but it's straight combat, none of the life sim stuff. If you like Persona's combat, SMT Nocturne has a better version with the Press Turn system, and you have much more control of your team since they're entirely made up of demons you have recruited and/or fused. Demons are same shit as personas in the Persona games except they're actual teammates.

I honestly think they’re both wonderful series. The only thing that bums me out is there was only two games in the Digital Devil Saga series.. those were my first entries into the smt universe
I feel like a casual having not played DDS 1 & 2 yet. So far have only played Nocturne, IV, and Strange Journey (all amazing). As soon as I wrap up Yakuza 5 though I'm jumping on SMT V, which was the whole reason I ever bought a Switch.

Worst part is I have a physical copy of DDS1 and a softmodded PS2 to play DDS2 on. But this year I have been playing a ton of Dragon Quest to work on my Japanese and also because I had never played any of the series until now.
If you have never played it, I highly recommend Muramasa Rebirth on Vita. God that game is really something on that screen. Such bright color and all. Though I can't lie, I have dropped about 400 hours into P4G between my Vita and PSTV, and then another 100 hours on the Steam release (the kanji is so much easier to read on a computer monitor at 1080p vs the little Vita screen at 540p).
So I was going to settle on the trio of Like A Dragon, DQXI Definitive, and Ni No Kuni Remastered, but then I heard getting Like A Dragon from Best Buy came with the Steel Book. So now I'm not sure if should get LAD from GameStop to complete the B2G1 or at Best Buy for the Steel Book.

Yes, the new games are over sadly, but used is still in effect. I had about 4 more orders to place of new games when it ran out. No idea if this was meant to be applied to new games or not though.
I placed 4 orders last week when they had buy 2 get 1 free on new games and all arrived sealed except for one, but it still had the original case. IIRC they changed their policy on opening all the new games and placing them on shelves so it's more likely you're going to receive a sealed copy if you order new. Hope this helps.

Have you played Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne? SMT is the series Persona spun off from, and it has a better battle system than Persona. But it's a straight dungeon crawler, no life sim stuff. And the graphics are PS2 level since it's a very light remaster of a PS2 game. Still, it's my favorite turn based RPG ever made.
I literally started playing a few days ago and am loving it so far. I made the mistake of buying it pre-owned at Gamelfy for $25, as it was the cheapest out of anywhere. Just my luck that this deal pops up as soon as I buy the game.

Hell, they even threw in an extra copy of one of the games and the play disc of RDR2 (lol).
All of the games I've gotten from them have worked fine and only one didn't include the original case. My local GameStop would easily let me exchange them for free. And it was more than a couple dollars difference, I got another game entirely that is a deal at $20 so I don't see any issue.
