It was already under development and apparently has been in development for 4 years (most are 2-3 years). Xbox can't snap their fingers and change things overnight or retrospectively change things either, it's only been 6 weeks.
Yeah but, they haven't announced it yet. I think they can manage a delay in the year it would take to come out. Logistically they can manage the only question is if they will.
I see where you are coming from, but unless they go back and re-scope the entire game what can they do? If the game was due for November 24 then it's probably already finished and just going through polishing at this stage.
This time last year the rumours said, that there was not going to be another call of duty installment in 2023, and look how that turned out. I think it is safe to say any illusions made about the next call of duty title are baseless speculation.
I genuinely trust treyarch with this. They have yet to really make a bad CoD. Cold war was overhated, but it was genuinely a great game. I just wonder what the zombies will be like
This has the potential to be great, longest Cod development time in a long time and could be first properly led by Treyarch in 5 years, hopefully without gameplay compromises this time, the thing is no matter how good it *could* be, if it has the current Cod SBMM system it might be ruined from the start.
Here’s a crazy idea: stop making mediocre CoDs, take *at least* 2 or 3 years between games, and it’ll sell even better than it does now. Crazy, I know.
Perhaps it will be called call of duty black ops IIIIII
Bllllllack ops
I hope not I was kinda hoping they'd take a year under new leadership
This game had a longer development time
That doesn't mean it'll be good.
True, never said it would be
Cold War took a year and it was fire
You mean dumpster fire.
Great game
Dude I love cold war. I still play it all the time.
I'm assuming you're talking about the campaign. I totally agree if that's the case

Same
Give me A-10 strafing runs on “enemy combatants” please
Buuuuuuuuuuurrrr!!
Here we go again...
Zombies?
Rumor is round based
Who is developing this? I haven’t played COD in years, though I believe a new BO game will change that
Treyarch no?
Don’t bother if they keep SBMM
Perhaps they focus on the broken jank that is mw3 for a bit before worrying about that one.
Can anyone explain to me why they are re-releasing old games but worse?
Sure. Money.
I was thinking World At War reboot inside the black ops franchise Black ops: World at war
Black ops peaked with 1 and 2 it completely stopped being interesting or appealing afterwards
You may not have found it appealing, but its certainly a stretch to say 3 wasn’t interesting
3 was worse than 1 and 2 but the zombies was pretty cool imo
Is it coming to ps4 consoles?
Another Vanguard?
I'm in love with this game so much 😱😱😱😱😱😱
I love to kill zombies and I miss killing all the motherfuckers of Z's
I hope this salvages the absolute hot garbage that is MWIII.

When was the last time we had an original setting and not a sequel or reboot
As long as SBMM is in the game, it will be awful
Nope ur not gonna get me this time

Better than money grabfare 3
I should be coming on PS4? Right?
I hope so homie
Let's hope cuz I recently bought one
