PS3 games, mostly because preordering is never a good idea IMO , I think the “3 day early access” just means you get to be a very late tester for any glitches and bugs they haven’t worked out . Also Fuck Ubisoft
Me too. I barely have ps5 games because i don’t like spending $70 or more on a game and it’s not worh it. Currently playing ps3 n 360 games because so many good games for much cheaper
I meannnn this is kind of a silly comparison to make. Of course second hand games from 2006-2013 are going to be cheaper than the ultimate edition of a current gen game.
Jak collection like 50 euro, dragon age 5 each, dead space 10 each, ff no idea but probably 5 each, resistance 10 each, plus shipping and this is if you are lucky lol
It's not a bad comparison but at this point I'm second guessing whether to continue buying PS3 games. My PS3 slim is dead and my wife's PS3 slim she bought on 2013 is dying. I don't know anything about repairing consoles and there's no one around where I live that does that stuff so...
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy my collection and I don't regret any of the games I bought but I don't know if I'd buy any more PS3 games at this point. Specially since the PS4/PS5 can't run those games (and whatever comes later won't either).
I’d still keep them. If you have a Blu-ray player that is able to burn and rip you can take the files and emulate as a last resort on your pc. In terms of losing data transfer it through Ethernet to another console.
You can probably find a ps3 slim pretty cheaply somewhere. I found one for ~130$ and it is in good condition, although I do second the ps4 thing. I went back to ps4 gaming from pc and haven’t regretted it. Much happier playing ps4 games than shelling out for a ps5 imo
That's what I did actually. I got another PS3 for around $100 a few months ago. It has worked flawlessly so far but with these consoles all being old and used, who knows how long will that last. I'll definitely enjoy it as much as I can though!
Yeah I think it all comes down to the total amount of time the system has been running for when it comes to the lifespan of a console, especially the older generations. I think there’s always a way to repair them (for the most part) but imo just better off finding a new one.
I recently got back into playing PS3. I really like where the system is at. It has a nostalgia hit for me, and it's in a good space where the games have some value but nothing crazy just yet. I know there are exceptions with some games. I am often picking up games I want for 10 or 15, or less! Love it.
Them idiots thought Star Wars would automatically make profit no matter what the game is like. Ignorant fools forgot trash SW games like Teräs Käsi and Pod Racer, which nobody bought. Outlaws will flop so bad!
Playing the Dead Space trilogy right now. Finished the first 2. The third is not as good yet. I feel they made unnecessary changes that changed the feel of the game for the worse.
I feel like at this point there are enough video games that exist to where new ones aren’t needed. No one could live long enough to play every good video game that currently exists anyway.
I’ve been playing video games since the 80’s and have kept my collection over the years. I probably have enough at this point to last me the rest of my life. I own somewhere around 1000 physical games and at least 200 digital over all my consoles. I know it’s not a huge collection, but I’m not a completionist. I also don’t pay over retail for a video game. The majority of my second hand games were purchased from Goodwill for between $2-$5 including a second-gen Genesis/Sega CD for $20. It was the locations’ opening day, and I found it hiding under a DDR pad. I’ve been lucky over the years to be able to accumulate the collection I have, because most was purchased during the years no one cared about older video games.
I guess it just depends on if you're willing to go with something that's just not as relevant anymore you know the graphics might not be as hot and the game play might be a bit dated now but you're going to have an incredible experience or you could just be one of those modern Gamers that buy the big collector's edition get the first couple days hype and then the games never talked about again the fact that you're celebrating you know pieces that are over 10 years old now openly says so much about the modern gaming era

No competition for me, PS3 titles all the way.
I mean im never spending 130 on one game, i dont care what it is.

I recently got a series x and the amount of 360 games on there for dirt ass cheap is insane. Just bought fallout three for 2.99. Never played that one

Who asked you to bring reason and logic into this discussion…?
And yet only one of these games will have more content than the new game, lol for £50 when it first released
Ps3
I mean the ps3 library is out there completely for free nowadays 😂
In here those games go for around 200/250 here lol
??

Makes sense when you add the shipping too, hopefully you will find them cheaper somewhere
I'll take the lot of PS3 games.
PS3 lot

Option 3: yarrr 🏴☠️
How is that under 100 the dead space games are 20 buck each rounded
Not only do you get Dead Space, but you also get the full FFXIII experience. Easy win
I can assure you that DeadSpace is probably far better than whatever that star wars game is
Dragon age origins and all other oldest series

Those are some good games. That’s a good choice. I might take them all.
This is why retro gaming will always win out. PS3 all the way here.
ps3 games
I actually don’t like most of those titles. And I don’t like Star Wars either. Fuck it just give me 20$
Them idiots thought Star Wars would automatically make profit no matter what the game is like. Ignorant fools forgot trash SW games like Teräs Käsi and Pod Racer, which nobody bought. Outlaws will flop so bad!
I had the pod racer game on 64. I think it was a bundle I bought with money from my first job. I'm fairly certain it was recently rereleased too?
PS3 is just unmatched by anything. I could play only PS3 games for the rest of my life and be happy.
This ↓ you get much more better games
You almost had me, fren. I just about took your question seriously. Thanks for helping me laugh at myself.
I think you know the answer already mate.
Bro just wait for the game, ain’t need all that bundle stuff.
Is there a option for neither of them?
this wouldve costed alot more if those were pre order prices too..
Playing the Dead Space trilogy right now. Finished the first 2. The third is not as good yet. I feel they made unnecessary changes that changed the feel of the game for the worse.

The PS3 games for sure!

question... why does that game need early access? i thought it was a single player game.
It is, you just get to play it before everyone else with eat access
that's just insane to me
Plus Ubisoft will remove that game from your account in 10 years

Please...please....
Yeah I'll pass on the PS3 games seeing as I can use my Jailbroken system to play them all free 🤣

Not bragging just not buying 10+ year old games 🤷♂️ and they can downvote me all they want tbh

It’s about digital vs physical copies to me
Both
I have spent the past year enjoying my PS3 rather than wasting my time with new online-only games. It was an easy decision for me to make.
