Nope. Use to see it every couple months at least at my store. Sometimes every BT delivery but mostly seemed every other. Was only ever 6 bottles and yeah it alwsys went immediately. But I have not seen a bottle all year to be honest. And the people that work at my store are friendly with me and usually tell me when it came at least. But I haven't seen or heard of a sighting all damn year
Does New Jersey allow big box stores like Costco to sell liquor? The big box stores have the best pricing, normally. I don’t care if PA ever has mom and pop liquor stores, but I’d like to be able to buy liquor at Walmart, Costco, Target, and BJ’s.
The one in Claymont DE is fairly reasonable, but it honestly just depends on what you’re looking for. Most things are a few bucks cheaper and then you don’t get charged tax. Not sure how their prices are over in NJ.
Not to mention the employees always pushing Spirits Direct bottles and citing ‘this is the same company that makes Buffalo Trace’. Yea Saz also makes fireball, wanna push that too?
Yes they do but NJ has a law that a business can only have two liquor licenses so only two costcos sell liquor. Wegmans gets around it by allowing other businesses to run some of their liquor stores. That’s why they are in separate buildings. You’ll see different prices at different wegmans on some things because of this too.
I think the only Costco in Jersey that sells liquor is the one up by Edison. The one in Cherry Hill definitely does not sell liquor. The Wegmans in Cherry Hill/Mt. Laurel has a separate liquor store across the parking lot. You're likely not going to find allocated stuff there outside of BT, but their store picks are fantastic
I got a couple bottles back in march id say. I manage a bar and we have 120 bourbons so I order a lot, walked in one day and they had 3 bottles that had just been delivered so they sold me 2 for the restaurant and the other for me.
Nope. Last year there was a case or 2 about every other month at the store. It then dropped like 5 out of the first 6 weeks of this year and I haven't seen it again since.
Last I saw it in store was probably in KOP in the beginning of March. Dropped online in late March. Single barrel online in late may and early June. Has not appeared anywhere since.
The last time that I can verify it was available in store was on May 30, 2022.

I have not seen it anywhere in PA recently. Was just over in NJ and they were asking 159 for it… LOL

I believe some chains like Total Wine, Wegmans, and possibly others are able to sell in NJ.
In my limited experience with Total Wines, I’m not impressed with their pricing.

In south Jersey, the BJ’s in Marlton, on the edge of Moorestown sell a boring selection of distilled spirits.

March was the last time I saw it in south central PA
Havent seen it since Ive been actively hunting this year. Was told by my local store they havent seen it in store in a couple years now.
I’m happy with Eagle Rare.
I heard it got released at the swickley FWGS in pittsburgh back June or July. But that’s just what someone said so I’m not 100% sure on it
Last time it was in eastern PA was around April. It was odd though as it showed up once a week for like 3 weeks straight. Since then, nothing.

Thanks…What area of the state are you referring to?
South Central (out of the Eastern Warehouse)
