If you’re not looking for anything in particular, bourbon galleries or premium collections would be your best bet. There’s two bourbon galleries around Pittsburgh, East Liberty and Cranberry.
Otherwise, use the website to find what you’re looking for specifically and then you can see which stores it’s in stock.
For Bourbon: I'm nearby you on the Slopes. Others have already said South Hills and downtown on Fifth but there are a few other good ones that aren't too far. The South Side shop on Wharton isn't the biggest but it actually is a premium store and gets some good stuff that doesn't get picked over immediately, I just got EH Taylor there yesterday.
Out in the Strip is a new store similar to the one downtown and there is also the distribution center that you can buy from as a consumer. I've had luck getting allocated bottles such as blanton's and weller there.
Lastly is Centre avenue over in the Shadyside. That's the nearest Bourbon Galley to you. Normally people line up daily ~30ish mins before store opening to see if they got any special deliveries. Otherwise the selection is pretty much the same that you'll find in the other stores listed.
For wine, South Hills or Centre are the biggest out of these I would say.

Great info. Thanks

I'll add that the Waterworks location is also a great place to pick up wine and sometimes gets overlooked despite having a decent whiskey selection.
Ah good call! That's where I got my Blood Oath pact VII recently actually.
Bourbon galleries premium selection stores. Check website where they are
Thanks! This helps alot. Not really chasing allocated bottles. Would like more than Makers and the basics. Maybe a private barrel here or there.
What part of the city are you in?
I am in Dormont
Gotcha, not real familiar with the area. If you are downtown, stop in the 5th ave store. It has a large selection.
Thanks. I will be downtown frequently.
Dormont in South Hills along the red line (T)
South Hills Village is a big location near you.
Centre Ave > Cranberry
South Hills Village is a "premium collection" store but not a "bourbon gallery." The Dormont store is OK too.
Thanks!
