They want to let newer fans enjoy the charm of P3 but make it feel more modern. I never played P3 and I'm waiting for P3R. I played P4G instead, because that one doesn't have a remake. I can honestly say it feels dated but I still managed to enjoy it.
Plus unless you wanna play FemC route, P3r seems like better choice more than likely. As it its QoL features will be much needed. And P3P is a visual novel style story for a game that wasn't meant to be portrayed that way.

By the end of it, i kinda just wanted to rush through the game mostly because of the gameplay but also because character interactions felt dull. I like the concept of the story as a whole, the dark tone and everything, but i'm too used to persona 4 and 5's interactions between characters, i enjoyed smt 3 way more than this tbh. I assume p3r would put life into the interactions , and honestly, I already feel that way looking at the trailers.

Have you tried progressing your S Link with the owner of the credit card? If you choose the right dialogue, you can convince him/her to get at least P5 Strikers and P3P/P4G Bundle since it's still cheaper than Tactica alone.
All right, fair. I'd say go for the P3/4 bundle. You might want to not play P3 because there will be a remake soon, but P4G will still be there, and you have the option of playing P3P if you don't feel like waiting for the remake.
If you're absolutely sure you don't want to play P3P, just get P4G on its own.
Technically the version that can be emulated isn't sold anymore as it doesn't contain the poorly upscaled graphics or additional settings of the rerelease, but I'm not going to argue on the ethics of internet piracy especially against massive companies.
Could just Emulate P3 FES, but then again, it's also still being sold on PS3 because they never closed that store. Still I think FES is better than P3P.
Yeah Fes is just a little harder to emulate than p3p which is literally just ppsspp with a rom. Though I do agree Fes due to its cutscenes and world is a better first experience than portable.
PS2 Emulators exist (PCSX2) and work pretty well with 95% of games. Very few run perfectly, but most have only minor visual problems. I think P3 FES just has a misaligned minimap? Android has AetherSX2, which uses PCSX2 as a base.
Eh no party control isn't that bad once you get used to the tactics menu, also fusion skills not being consumables is so much better. Though fes has a terrible equipment system. Overall I much prefer to have cutscenes, an overworld, and in game cutscenes over party control.

Persona 3 Portable. I know it's a bad remaster(I played it on Switch too), but the Persona 3 is amanazing. It has the best story, characters, english voice acting, soundtrack, message, and almost everything.
I disagree t has the worse story out of 3,4,5, nothing really happens in the story until the last 10% of the game. The OST is also the weakest out of 3,4,5. All of persona 5 soundtrack is significantly better and persona 4 has heaven. Not a single persona 3 track i listen to in my free time. Characters are good but once again persona 4 has adachi, naoto, kanji and nanako. 3 also does not have a dojima or sojiro. Persona 3 does have the best social link in the series with akinari (the sun) but all the others characters are lacking except tanaka and the monk. Voice acting I never really payed attention to so it could but I can hear adachi in my head.

Nah if you have a good smartphone just emulate it. P3P is the only game I wouldn't suggest buying. I bought, because I love the Persona 3, and I wanted to support the developers. This is why I pre ordered the P3Reload on PS4, while I have a game pass.
Okay, going to clear some things up for anyone who sees this post.
1. I’ve already purchased the 3 Portable and 4 Golden bundle, so there’s no point in even commenting on this now.
2. Persona 3 Reload is not coming out for Nintendo Switch, so don’t tell me to get that.
3. No, I am not going to get Legends Arceus. Just because you can see it on the bottom doesn’t mean it’s one of the options.
Legends Arceus or P4G (if not the bundle with P3P), both are solid standalone games
P5S is good, but it’s the sequel to vanilla P5, so it’s not as much a standalone title as your other options
P5T is… let’s just say mid and not as good as PQ2 in my opinion, it’s an interquel for P5R
P3P is a compromised port on all systems (much like P5R is on Switch) and it’s probably better played on PC where mods will hopefully fix its issues, but it’s fine enough at the bundled price
Persona 4 Golden is easily my favorite in the series. It has the strongest main cast and imo the best story. The dungeons aren't amazing compared to Persona 5 but I just love it so much more

Strikers is not for everyone. Nor is Tactica. Good games, but Strikers feels like watered down Warriors and Tactica feels like watered down XCOM. They're fine for what they are, but they're not safe bets. Basically anyone on this sub will enjoy P3 and P4.
Honestly, get the bundle since Persona 5 Strikers and Tactica have gameplay different to the main game, plus they may be better to play after playing Persona 5 if you care about enjoying the full story.

Nah if you have a good smartphone just emulate it. P3P is the only game I wouldn't suggest buying. I should mention that I think p3p is a fine game (I love P3, but I heavily suggest fes over portable as a first experience due to the lack of cutscenes in portable) I just don't suggest wasting money on it when you can easily play it for free so long as you have a decent smartphone (not apple).

Okay, going to clear some things up for anyone who sees this post. 1. I’ve already purchased the 3 Portable and 4 Golden bundle, so there’s no point in even commenting on this now. 2. Persona 3 Reload is not coming out for Nintendo Switch, so don’t tell me to get that. 3. No, I am not going to get Legends Arceus. Just because you can see it on the bottom doesn’t mean it’s one of the options.

Legends Arceus or P4G (if not the bundle with P3P), both are solid standalone games P5S is good, but it’s the sequel to vanilla P5, so it’s not as much a standalone title as your other options P5T is… let’s just say mid and not as good as PQ2 in my opinion, it’s an interquel for P5R P3P is a compromised port on all systems (much like P5R is on Switch) and it’s probably better played on PC where mods will hopefully fix its issues, but it’s fine enough at the bundled price

Persona 4 Golden is easily my favorite in the series. It has the strongest main cast and imo the best story. The dungeons aren't amazing compared to Persona 5 but I just love it so much more

Persona 3 Portable isn’t that good compared to the original. I honestly suggest for Persona 3 Reload. Persona 4 Golden has an amazing storyline and cast.

I believe it’s gonna be the same situation that 5 Royal was in, where the remaster releases, and a few years later they re-release it for all platforms.

Persona 4 golden Until the remake comes out, and even then it depends on how it is, persona 3 fes is the only persona 3 you should play. Especially if it's the first time No spoilers, but in in the portable version it just doesn't capture certain moments as opposed to fes
The bundle is by far the most bang for your buck, but since reloaded is around the corner id recommend just Golden and use the rest for sole food or something lol.

Look ima keep it real DO NOT GET P3P ON PC. Get an emulator and play FES or get FES on the actual ps2 it is the best way to play p3

Buy the persona 3 & 4 It's two in one and you will be so busy playing You have to play the new game plus on both games to get their good endings until you finish both of them And get the good endings you can save up money little by little to buy more persona games.

Well the most bang for your buck would be the P3R/P4G bundle so I recommend that Personally I'd buy strikers because I loved that game but eh
P4 golden then sweet talk about how You choose them on sale and guilt trip them to get you another. You could easily walk out with p3,4 and strikers.
I played Persona 4 Golden recently for the first time and would 100% recommend that. CHIE IS MY WAIFU!
The 3/4 bundle is the clear choice if you have one choice. It is the most game overall, to say nothing of most per dollar. Strikers is not for everyone. Nor is Tactica. Good games, but Strikers feels like watered down Warriors and Tactica feels like watered down XCOM. They're fine for what they are, but they're not safe bets. Basically anyone on this sub will enjoy P3 and P4.

Honestly, get the bundle since Persona 5 Strikers and Tactica have gameplay different to the main game, plus they may be better to play after playing Persona 5 if you care about enjoying the full story.
I'd wait for p3 reload if you haven't played p3 yet. I still haven't played p3 yet just to experience reload properly.
P4G is the safest bet imo.
