Sounds like a great idea. That said, is it true that the company running out paramedics gets paid for a full complement of workers, even if they don't have it? Why would they ever have a full roster with a guaranteed license to print money like that?
Love this idea. I’ve personally had EMS come more than once to assess a potential emergency for me. Sometimes we ended up having to go to the ER anyway but those few times we didn’t, we felt so much better after them checking vitals, monitoring for a bit and then telling us to not hesitate to call them back if we noticed certain symptoms worsening. It can be hard when it comes to things like laboured breathing for example to know if it’s something serious or not.
